50 Top paid survey sites in the USA

The list below is not a complete list of all the available American paid survey sites. Such a list would probably be more or less impossible to make, as there are so many, and new sites are created all the time as well. And there are also A LOT that are not worth it.

Below is a selected list of the sites with the best opportunities to give you a quality list instead of a list that is as long as possible. All of them are legit and will actually pay you.

The list is regularly updated, so bookmark this page and check for new opportunities periodically.

Freecash is one of the highest-paying survey and GPT sites in the USA, and it can definitely be worth checking out.

The main way to earn is by taking paid surveys, but you can also find some paid offers here to boost your earnings. And if you want to get paid in cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, this is one of the fastest paying sites in the US, as you can take your earnings out already when you have earned $0.50, and you will get paid instantly. For PayPal and gift cards, the threshold starts at $5 (the first time you cash out, the threshold is, however, $20).

If you join through the link below, you will also get a $10 joining bonus.

What’s unique about this survey site is that its system matches surveys better than most other survey sites. As a result, there will be fewer disqualifications, which means more earnings.

Once you’ve earned $5, you can cash out via PayPal, Venmo, or bank transfer. You also have the option to redeem gift cards. Plus, you will receive your rewards 30 minutes after redeeming them, which is quite a fast turnaround.

It has a mobile app that works with both Android and iOS devices, and it is relatively user-friendly too.

#3 Opinion Inn

Opinion Inn is a unique survey site with some great opportunities in the US.

You get a $10 joining bonus right away; the surveys you can find here aren’t available on other survey sites, and they pay an average of $3+ per survey, which makes it one of the highest-paying survey sites I have tested.

You can redeem via PayPal once you have earned $25, which does not take too long because of the many US surveys and high qualification rate.

Sproutful is an online survey site that lets you earn rewards by sharing your opinions through paid surveys. There are a good number of surveys available at any given time, so you should be able to earn rewards regularly.

You can get paid via PayPal, Venmo, gift cards, or prepaid Visa cards. The threshold you need to reach to redeem a reward will depend on the reward you choose, but the lowest one I could find was $5, which is a relatively low threshold, in my opinion.

#8 Branded Surveys

Type
Surveys + other tasks

Branded Surveys is only available in very few countries, and one of them is the US. If you live here, it can be a great extra survey site to join as it is easy-to-use and you can find a decent number of paid surveys here.

In addition to taking paid surveys, you can also earn by taking daily polls and paid offers. But the paid surveys are the best way to earn.

EarnStar is a relatively new Get-Paid-To (GPT) platform that lets you earn by answering surveys and playing games. You can consistently earn from it because there are many earning opportunities.

#11 SwagBucks

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$1 gift cards$5 PayPal

PayPal · Gift cards

SwagBucks is one of the biggest GPT sites in the world and has more than 20 million users. It is called a GPT site because it not only offers paid surveys but also several other ways to earn.

You can, for example, get paid to surf online, play games, take online offers, get cash back for shopping online, and get a daily activity bonus.

Some methods will not earn you a lot, but especially surveys, online offers, and getting cash back on online shopping can give some great extra money. SwagBucks gives really good opportunities in the USA. You can get paid through PayPal or choose from a large variety of gift cards.

The payout threshold starts at $1-$2 for gift cards and $5 if you want to get paid in cash via PayPal.

#12 YouGov US

Type
Surveys only
Cash out from
Depends on the reward
Paid via
Prepaid VISA · Gift cards · Amazon +1 more

YouGov is a very interesting survey panel. It has specific panels for many countries, and it also has a US survey panel. You can only earn by taking surveys, but there are often new surveys. The surveys are about important and relevant topics, and they pay well in relation to the time spent.

One thing that is really cool about YouGov is that you can get to see the results of the surveys they conduct. On the website (or in their newsletter, if you subscribe to that), you will be able to see the results and see in which media the results have been used. There are not many survey sites where this is possible, and it is great to be able to see the results and see how your opinion is a part of affecting the agenda and stories in the media.

You earn points every time you take a survey, and these points can be exchanged for a variety of gift cards, prepaid VISA, products, and more.

#13 PrizeRebel

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$2 gift cards$5 PayPal
Paid via

You can earn by doing surveys, taking online offers, inviting friends, getting paid to play games, doing tasks through Figure Eight, getting a daily challenge bonus, participating in free contests, and getting promo codes with free points once in a while.

#15 PaidViewpoint

Type
Surveys only
Cash out from
$15(will be lowered to $5 after you have cashed out a few times)
Paid via
PayPal

PaidViewpoint is a pure survey site, and that is the only way you can earn on this site. It does, however, have something unique for a survey site, and that is why it is on this list.

If you have done paid surveys before, you will know that often there are surveys you do not qualify for. That is just a part of taking surveys. That is, however, not the case for PaidViewpoint. Here, you will never be offered a survey that you will not be able to complete, and the surveys are very short and fast compared to many survey sites.

It will not give you as many survey opportunities as the other sites on this list, but you know that you will for sure be able to complete the ones you are offered. The USA is one of the countries where PadiViewpoint has the most surveys, and you can get paid through PayPal.

#16 Five Surveys

Type
Survey site
Cash out from
$5
Paid via
PayPal · Venmo · Bank transfer +1 more

Five Surveys is a unique, newer survey site in the US.

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$3
Paid via
PayPal · Skrill · Gift cards

Superpay.me has some high paying surveys, games and offers in the US. It also has various bonuses that can give you earning boost by being an active member. For example, Daily streaks, lottery type bonuses, achievements and membership levels. As well as a cash $101 feature that shows how members can earn $101 in bonuses just for being active on the site.

It has gone through a huge update and is now more updated and modern, in my opinion.

It has a low payout threshold of $3, and it offers payouts through PayPal, Skrill, Venmo, and Visa gift cards. You will also get a $1 joining bonus. It also processes payouts almost instantly.

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$1
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards

Earnably is a Get-Paid-To site that will let you earn by answering surveys, completing offers, watching videos, and more. You can earn regularly from it because there are a decent number of earning opportunities available at any given time.

Plus, you’ll only need to earn $1 to withdraw your earnings via PayPal. You can also redeem various gift cards for the same amount. This is a relatively low payout threshold, so you don’t have to wait long to redeem a reward.

It doesn’t have a mobile app, but the dashboard is optimized for mobile use, so you can earn conveniently using your phone.

#20 Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel

Type
Passive appTracks your internet use
Cash out from
Depends on devices you are using
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards (reward points)

Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is different from most other panels on this list. Once you have joined the panel, you do not have to do anything else to give feedback.

You will install an app/software on your device, and this will give the panel info about your internet use. You will stay anonymous, and the research will be used to improve online services and products.

Nielsen has a specific panel for the USA, and it can be a great way to help shape the internet of the future, while earning a small reward for it, as you do not have to do anything else than just use the internet as you always do. In the US, you can earn up to $60 in reward points a year, plus invitations to games and other research.

#21 Triaba

Type
Survey site
Cash out from
$1PayPal; $10 for gift cards, Virtual Visa and crypto

Triaba is a very simple survey site, and it has a specific US survey panel. The only thing you have to do is sign up, and then you will receive an email invitation via email.

It will not give you as many opportunities as the absolute top sites on this list, but it still gives you access to a good amount and usually several per week (sometimes several per day).

It is very easy to use, and you can get paid through PayPal from $1, or in gift cards from $10.

#23 InboxDollars

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$15$10 after your first cash-out
Paid via
PayPal · Amazon · Prepaid VISA +1 more

InboxDollars is, as the name suggests, an American GPT site. It offers you several ways to earn – you can take surveys, take offers, search online, shop online, play games, read emails, and more. It is definitely a site with a lot of opportunities, and it is fairly easy to use.

It does, however, take a while to get to the payout threshold the first time, as it is $15. But after the first time you cash out, it drops to only $10. It offers many daily opportunities, you get a $5 joining bonus, which is a great start, and it offers some good payout methods, so it is definitely still a site worth considering to join.

Honeygain is a unique way to earn some extra money online in the US, as you can earn completely passively once the app has been set up.

You will earn by sharing your unused internet bandwidth, and you can use it on both desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, and you can use it on several devices to earn more. If you have unlimited internet, it can be an easy way to earn a bit extra every month.

Once you have earned $20, you will be able to get your earnings out via PayPal. If you connect it to the GPT site JumpTask, you can cash out from $1 the first time and from $0.50 after that, with more payout options like gift cards, prepaid cards and crypto. And if you join through the invitation link below, you will get a $3 joining bonus into your account right away.

#26 Surveyeah US

Type
Survey site
Cash out from
$10

Surveyeah is a very easy-to-use survey site, and it has both an American survey panel in English and one in Spanish.

All you have to do is sign up, and then you will start receiving invitations via email. It does not give a lot of surveys, but as an extra site, it can be worth joining, as it does not take much extra effort.

Once you have earned $10, you can get paid via PayPal or Amazon gift cards when you have earned $20.

#27 Timebucks

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$3
Paid via
PayPal · AirTM · Bank transfer via Wise +4 more

Timebucks is a GPT site where you can always find a way to earn in the US. It can be a bit confusing with all the methods at first, but with some patience, it can really be worth it.

You can, for example, earn by taking surveys, watching online content, solving CAPTCHA, watching videos, doing social media tasks, signing up for offers, and it gives really good rewards if you also invite friends to join.

You can get your earnings out via crypto, PayPal, AirTM, or Bank Transfer (via Wise), once you have earned at least $3.

#28 GrabPoints

Type
Survey site
Cash out from
$3
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards

GrabPoints used to be a GPT site but now it focuses on paid surveys. In the USA, it gives you really good opportunities to earn, as the surveys are quite high paying.

At times, it takes a bit of patience to find the surveys you qualify for, but with the size of the rewards, it is worth the patience.

GrabPoints has many great rewards for the USA – you can get paid through PayPal already when you have earned $3, or get paid through gift cards. If you join through the invitation link below, you get 500 points for free right away.

#29 Reward XP

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$5
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards · Crypto +1 more

Reward XP is a great site to join if you like to play online games and would like to earn some extra cash at the same time.

You can find many games you can download here, and you will then get paid when you reach a certain level. In addition to this, you can also find plenty of paid surveys on Reward XP that pay quite well for your time.

You can get your earnings out already when you have earned $5 and choose between PayPal cash, gift cards, crypto, and a prepaid Visa card.

#30 Rewards1

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$5
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards · Custom rewards

Rewards1 is not a very well-known GPT site in the USA, which I think is a shame because it actually gives very good opportunities once you get to know how it works.

You can earn by taking surveys, watching videos, and taking offers, and the more active you are, the more benefits you get as a member.

Rewards1 has what is probably also the biggest selection of gift cards out of all the platforms on this list. But you can also get cash via PayPal. The payouts start at $5.

#31 LifePoints Panel USA

Type
Survey site
Cash out from
$10
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards · Products

LifePoints Panel is one of the newest survey panels in the US. The two panels, called MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket, merged at the beginning of 2019 and became LifePoints.

Since it is still very new, there might be some small glitches, but overall, it is easy to use and is very similar to the two sites that merged to become LifePoints if you have been a member of any of those. This means once you have signed up, you will receive email invitations for available surveys. Not a huge amount, but still decent.

As an extra survey site, LifePoints can definitely be worth it in the US, and you can also earn by participating in a free contest if you want a chance to earn a bit extra.

The payout threshold starts at around $10 for a few rewards, but most start at $15. There is a huge catalog you can choose from, including PayPal, gift cards, and products.

#32 MyPoints

Type
Surveys + other tasks
Cash out from
$3 gift cards$25 PayPal
Paid via
PayPal · Gift cards

MyPoints gives quite a lot of earning options – some of them are really good, and some of them are not so great.

You can, for example, earn by taking surveys, promo codes, goal bonuses, and more. It is especially a very interesting platform to join if you ever shop online, as it has a lot of cashback offers for American shops, so you can save a lot of money that way.

The payout threshold depends on your chosen reward. If you want an Amazon gift card, you can get it already when you have earned $3. For PayPal, you have to wait until you have earned $25.

#33 Product Report Card

Type
Surveys + product reviews
Cash out from
$25
Paid via
Direct deposit · Gift cards · Check

Product Report Card is a bit unusual, and the main reason it is on this list of the best survey and GPT sites in the USA is that it offers something no other sites do.

You can earn by doing product reviews in addition to taking paid surveys. This can be interesting, but the platform is a bit confusing, so it can take some time to get started. But a good thing is that the surveys they also offer have a low disqualification rate.

The payout threshold is a bit high, as you need to earn $25 to request a payout, but you can get your earnings in cash or as gift cards, so the rewards are flexible.

#35 Tellwut

Type
Survey site
Cash out from

PayPal · Gift cards

Tellwut is a bit of an unusual survey site.

However, the daily Tellwut surveys have very low rewards, so to earn anything of value, you need to do some of the external surveys it regularly offers as well. In addition to this, you can also create your own surveys or answer surveys from other members.

You can get paid in cash via PayPal on Tellwut and also choose between a lot of different gift cards.

So if you would like to get paid in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, this is a good option. The payout threshold depends on the cryptocurrency you choose: $3 for Dogecoin, Dash and Litecoin, and $5 for Bitcoin.

The main way to earn on the site is by taking surveys, and it has a decent amount in the US. You can also earn by participating actively in the community and interacting with other members, but it is not a lot you can earn, so you should only do it if you enjoy it, and not solely to earn.

Toluna has many great rewards, and you can, for example, get paid through PayPal and gift cards. It can be a bit slow at processing the rewards compared to other survey sites, but it always pays out, even though it can take a while.

National Consumer Panel is completely different than the other panels on this list. The way you can give feedback takes a bit more involvement, but it can be a fun way to earn.

You will earn points for participating, and these points can be used to choose a product from their gift catalog, which has some nice options.

How are the opportunities for paid surveys in the USA?

The opportunities for taking paid surveys are very good in the US. The USA is one of the countries with the largest number of offers, because big American companies are willing to spend a lot of money on market research, and they pay you to take part.

There are two kinds of sites on the list. Both can be a great way to make some extra money, depending on what you prefer:

Survey sites: mostly surveys

Survey sites focus on surveys. In the comparison, these are marked Surveys only or Survey site.

GPT sites: surveys plus other tasks

GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites often have paid surveys too, but also other ways to earn, like cash back when you shop online, games and videos. These are marked Surveys + other tasks.

Many sites do not mean many good sites

There are also plenty of sites that are scams and will cost you money instead of making you money, and some are just a waste of time. All the sites on this list are legit, and I have been paid by all of them.

This is not a complete list of all American paid survey sites. There are so many, new ones are created all the time, and a lot of them are not worth it. I picked the sites with the best opportunities instead of making the list as long as possible, so you do not waste your time testing sites.

How to pick your sites from this list

The best sites for you depend on the tasks you like and how you want to get paid. This is a simple way to choose:

  1. Pick the type of siteOnly surveys, or surveys plus offers, games and more. The “Type” column shows it.
  2. Pick how you get paidUse the filter in the comparison: PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer or crypto.
  3. Check the minimumSome sites have a different minimum for each payout method.
  4. Join 6 to 8 sitesStart with my top picks. Once you have some experience, you can join more.
How the 50 sites pay youNumber of sites that offer each payout method. Many sites offer more than one.
  • PayPal45 of 50
  • Bank transfer12 of 50
  • Crypto11 of 50
  • Venmo9 of 50

How to earn the most?

To get the most out of survey and GPT sites in the US, there are a few things you need to be aware of.

  • Use all the earning methodsMany sites on the list also pay you for other tasks. Using several of them can really boost your earnings.
  • Join several sitesThey all offer something different, so more sites give you more opportunities.
  • Start with 6 to 8 sitesThat gives you plenty of opportunities without being too overwhelming.

Other ways to earn on some of the sites:

  • Taking offers
  • Watching videos
  • Free contests
  • Downloading apps
  • Playing games
  • Cash back when shopping

What you can expect

One of the easiest ways to make some extra cash in the USA. There is no cost at all, you make a profit from day one, and anyone can do it.

What you should not expect

It will not be a way to make a full-time income, and it will not make you rich. It is great for some extra cash on the side.

How I choose the sites on this list

I only put a site on this list when I have tested it myself. I test hundreds of sites every year, and I keep this list updated.

What I look at

  • Legit sites that actually pay their members
  • Good earning opportunities in the USA
  • Sites that are worth your time
  • Sites that each offer something different

What readers ask in the comments

This page has 428 comments since 2017, and I answered 210 of them. These are the questions that come up most, with my answers.

Can I join these sites from outside the USA, or with a VPN?Asked about 20 times

My answer: These sites are for people who live in the USA. Using a VPN to fake your country is fraud. Most sites will find out and block you, and you cannot log in from abroad either. If you live elsewhere, use my list of international sites.

Are these sites legit, or are they scams?Asked about 15 times

My answer: All the sites on the list are legit, and I have been paid by all of them myself. If an app charges you a fee before it pays you, it is a scam.

Do I have to verify my identity to get paid?Asked about 12 times

My answer: Yes. More or less all sites ask for some kind of verification before they pay you, because they see a lot of fraud. Some ask for ID, others check your phone or PayPal. The method differs per site and can change.

Which of the 50 sites should I pick?Asked about 12 times

My answer: In general, I recommend the sites at the top of the list. But the best ones for you depend on the tasks you like and the payout options you prefer. The overview helps you see what fits you.

How fast do I get paid, and to which PayPal email?Asked about 8 times

My answer: It depends on the site. Some pay out instantly, and others take a few days. Most sites pay to the email you joined with, but you can add that email to your PayPal account in the settings.

Do I have to pay taxes on what I earn?Asked about 5 times

My answer: Usually, a site sends you a form to fill in if you earn more than $600 in a year on that one platform. I have a separate article about surveys and taxes with more details.

Read the comments or ask your own question below.

All of these sites are free to join. I recommend you join around 6 to 8 sites for a start, so you get enough opportunities without getting overwhelmed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best paid survey site in the USA?

My top 3 for the USA are Freecash, TopSurveys and Opinion Inn. Freecash is one of the highest-paying survey and GPT sites in the US. TopSurveys matches surveys better than most sites, so you get fewer disqualifications. Opinion Inn has surveys you do not find on other sites.

Which site is best for you also depends on the tasks you like and how you want to get paid. Use the comparison to filter by payout method.

Can you make $100 a day taking surveys?

I cannot promise a daily amount. Paid surveys and GPT sites are a great way to make some extra cash in the USA, but they will not give you a full-time income, and they will not make you rich.

To earn the most, use all the earning methods a site has, not only surveys, and join several sites. Around 6 to 8 sites is a good start.

Which survey site pays immediately?

You always have to reach the site’s minimum first. After you ask for a payout, some sites on this list are very fast: many Freecash payouts are instant after approval, HeyCash pays within a few minutes, Prime Opinion usually within 30 minutes, and Five Surveys and Superpay.me more or less right away.

Which survey app pays the highest?

Opinion Inn is one of the highest-paying survey sites I have tested. Freecash and Gemsloot are among the highest-paying GPT sites I have tested, and Prime Opinion pays higher than the average survey site.

How much you earn still depends on how many surveys you qualify for, so join a few of them.

What are the risks of paid surveys?

Some sites are scams that cost you money instead of making you money, and some are just a waste of your time. Legit survey sites are free to join, so there is no cost and no risk to your money.

All the sites on this list are legit, and I have been paid by all of them.

What is the biggest problem with surveys?

Not qualifying for every survey. That happens on every survey site. A few sites on this list make it easier: PaidViewpoint never offers you a survey you cannot complete, TopSurveys gives fewer disqualifications, and Opinion Edge gives you a small reward when you do not qualify.

    • Thanks. Yes, they YT suddenly decided to take a look again and admitted they got it wrong. Still some things with the channel they did not fix which is very strange, but at least it is back now.

      Thanks.

  1. Thanks for sharing. Some of these I’m very familair with but i’ve been out of the game so to speak for a while and some are new to me. I mostly just stick with Swagbucks. Ive tried Inboxdollars before and found it to be a waste of time which i find strange because other people have found luck with it. In the past I made a couple hundred with UserTesting but these days they seem like a waste of time too. I am presuming you personally created this top 50 based on how much you were able to earn with them. Is that true? I’m curious if you’ve used any AIchat to help you find new get-paid-to places?

    • Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Yes, I have made the list based on my own testing and experiences. I take a lot of things into consideration when I make my lists. First of all, my own experiences, but I have also talked to and heard feedback from thousands of my followers. And then I also consider the user experience, the payout methods, how fast they pay, how the support is, and much more. I also regularly update it based on when I know certain panels are looking for new members because they have more options, or when certain platforms have a period with less opportunities.

I do all this manually as I find the AI answer when it comes to Get-Paid-To sites are usually superficial as most people just repeat what is on the platforms themselves without actually testing them.

Hope this helps, and just let me know if you have any other questions.

  2. Thanks for sharing this excellent list of 50 best survey sites for the USA in 2025—very informative for anyone looking to make money online! I’d also like to suggest SJ Panel as another great option: it’s completely free to join and offers genuine rewards for completing paid online surveys.

    • Clearly this is a comment you have used AI to write to try to subtly promote your own panel (or someone hired you to do it). If you want me to look into a new panel, then be honest about it and do not try tricks like this as that just gives a bad impression.

  3. Hey Mike, I hope you’re doing well! I had a quick question—I’ve noticed you use images of survey and money-making apps in your content. I was wondering, doesn’t that risk violating copyright or usage terms? I’d really appreciate your insight on how you handle that. Thanks!

    Reply
        • When it comes to copyright, then it depends how you use images. I cannot give legal advice or anything about something like this, so you will have to do your own research to make your decision based on that. Hope you understand.

Hello , just a question , could you save a lot a points and make a big cash out for example branded surveys has a $1000 cash out on PayPal , lets say I save up more points then the max cash out and wanted to redeem one at a time with the max pay out option could I do that or would branded surveys or any app just steal back the points

    • On the legit sites this is possible. But sometimes even legit sites close down, so accumulating that much before cashing out can be risky.

  5. Last night signed up for FREECASH and did quite a few surveys. Today my computer has slowed down to a crawl when I try to watch videos. Is my computer being trolled? I did have to disconnect VPN in order to get the surveys. Any suggestions on how to get computer back up to speed.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with online surveys etc.

    • This likely has nothing to do with Freecash as you do not install anything on your computer by signing up and taking surveys. So it must be something else going on with your computer.

    Reply
    • Have not heard of it before and it is a bit confusing to find out exactly what it offers on the website. One thing I would say is that if you got an email from them without having asked for it or without having signed up for anything, it is likely something to be careful of.

    • Basically all survey sites will ask for some kind of verification before they pay you. There is a lot of fraud on survey sites, so if they did not do this, they would not exist for long. So if you do not want to verify your identity, then survey sites in not for you.

The Usa Survey pannels should stop giving Vasa gift cards so they can redeem it from other countries.

Bangladesh also doesn’t have PayPal. they also create fake PayPal accounts by vpn . So they can receive payment ??.

    • Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud, and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this, and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN, and they will block you, and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.

  12. Why none of survey sites asks the email of my PayPal account? Instead, they use by default my personal email, which is different from Paypal’s one. This leads to the money loss. For instance, this happened with Prime Opinion site. They answered like “this is your business with Paypal”

I’m really curious, knowing how some of the paying gaming sites I’ve been using not only reward you for referrals, give you lifetime percentage commission off the referral, are there high enough referral incentives on these survey links when we click on them? Do we need to write articles, too? ?? Seriously, if these do, aka Mypoints gives you 1000 points for referrals, could you put this incentive by the titles of each of the above named sites? That would help pick out which ones are worth the time and effort to rake in the $$$.
    Thanks!!

    • This is likely because there is something with your connection that is seen as a bit unusual. It can be if there is a VPN or something like that. There is very strict security as they see a lot of fraud so there is an extra layer of security to filter traffic. Unfortunately, that means that sometimes legit interest like from you might be blocked, but nothing I can do about it.

How long it takes, (average), to fulfill a survey and what is the (average) pay for a survey (again, just an average)?
Are there other (better paid) opportunities for bilingual (Spanish) surveyors that you may have seen?
Can I “work” using my laptop while vacationing outside the US continent)?

    Again, thank you

    • I just replied to your first question in your other comment.

As for more options for bilinguals, then some of the sites above will, at times give more options if you also speak Spanish.

And no, you cannot log in if you are abroad. Most sites will ban you if you log in and take surveys when you are not in the country where you registered from.

Question; what would you say would be an “average” income, one can make per hour doing this? Maybe the question should be, how long it takes, average, to fulfill a survey? It seems to me that a $3 survey its like a $3 an hour “job”.
Are there other (better paid) opportunities for bilingual surveyors?

  27. Hey Mikael,
I appreciate this list as well as your YouTube videos. I find them an invaluable source of info for GPT/survey site earning. Been meaning to ask…
I know different sites will offer surveys from the same offerwalls and companies. For example, Peanutlabs, Offertoro, Yoursurveys, etc. What is a system you recommend so that I can use multiple GPT sites to earn using favorite offer walls on both without getting DQ’d or flagged. I did surveys using SaySo Rewards on 2 different sites and now have been blocked on both sites. And no, I do not use any VPNs. I appreciate any tips. Please let me know if my question made sense as I cannot find an answer on the web yet. Thanks!

  28. Hello.
I am new to this but tried inbox Dollar.
I got a bit frustrated with the site because after I would start a survey and get partially through they would say I don’t qualify? Is that common on all of these sites? I’d rather not start one to get partially done and be told I basically wasted my time. Thoughts are appreciated.
    Thanks for the good list.

  29. Thank you for making this list!
However, I was very surprised that my all-time favorite app, Qmee, isn’t on the list at all. They are great in every way-they tell you the topic and length of the surveys, you often get partial credit if you can’t finish one, there is no minimum payment for PayPal and payment comes immediately. I think gift cards are $5. You are also alerted to “hot” surveys that you have a greater chance of completing that is pretty accurate. I would love your thoughts on this site/app!

  31. I belong to a few of these survey sites and have had success making a little bit of money. I would like to add that I was a longtime member of PineCone Research, over ten years, in fact. But a couple years ago, they dropped me like a hot potato because I was unable to do some surveys sent to me because there was a severe, days’ long power outage in my area. So I just want people to be aware of that.

    • All of these definitely pay if you do everything honestly. If you have had a bad experience with one of them, please be specific about which site and maybe I can tell a bit more about what the issue might be.

As for not being able to sign up for all of them, then sometimes panels fill up and do not allow more members.

      • Hello.

I just recently stumbled across your website. Glad i did. Thank you for everything you do. I have couple questions….

I live in the united states. Ive noticed alot of sites pay out thru paypal. I have a paypal account but no card. I have cash app and venmo as a source of banking. Do you know what sites would pay out to one of those two apps…i know some sites off bank transfers but none of them will make note that cash app or venmo is accepted until you sign up and try to get paid via bank option and when i enter information of either one or both some places might accept them and some say no…some also say one or other say they are considered “pre paid debit” even when i can give routing and bank acct info as with any other banks…

        I hope i didn’t confuse you …or ask to many questions…

        • Glad you like my website.

I do not really know any sites that payout to Cash App or Venmo. You can also consider sites that pay out via Visa cards, Master Cards, gift cards, or crypto. If you are interested in any of this, just let me know, and I will be happy to suggest some options for that.

    • Yes, survey sites get paid by research companies to conduct market research. Companies are willing to pay quite a lot to get feedback and get opinions as that can help them improve their products and services.

    • Personally, I am not too impressed with it – mainly because I have had some bad experiences with their support and that is an important factor, in my opinion. But I might add it to the list next time I update it.

    • Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN and they will block you and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.

    • Hi Yousuf,

If you are not from Australia it is fraud to try to take Australian surveys. First of all, it hurts a lot of people and businesses to do this. Secondly, the survey sites have strict security to avoid fraud like this so in most cases you will end up getting banned and not get your earnings.

So if you want to earn online I strongly encourage you do it honestly. Surveys are not meant to be a way to make anything close to a full-time income but is a way to earn a bit extra and have your opinion heard at the same time. If you want to earn like this, stick to the sites that are available in your country. And if you are looking to build a full-time income, you need to build a different kind of online business.

      Hope this helps.

My favorite site of all is the one I usually hear people complain about and that is paid viewpoints. Oh it accrues slowly but the surveys are so easy and you are guaranteed finishing it and earning. Plus they are all like 10 questions. I just changed my email address 2 months ago to freeze my earnings for 180 days. I do that so that I don’t just withdraw 15 dollars and by the time the 180 days is up I’ll have 50 or 60 dollars and transfer to PayPal is one of the fastest

I do not know exactly as it has been a while since I first signed up for most of them. But it is actually not very often survey sites asks for ID image or social security. So for the majority of the sites, you would be able to sign up without. And if one of them then happen to ask about it, there are plenty of others on the list.

So you should not have a problem finding sites where you do not have to show ID.

  58. Hi mikael, well it has been a while since I have posted on my survey ups and downs, so here it is. On a good note first, finally made the 50 cash on Onegov, the 25 amazon on productreportcard, and onepoll 65 amazon, and of course some smaller ones also, Thank you mikael for all the reviews so I can keep on top of things as you know I have joined several sites and weed them out as needed to benefit me the most as there are enough to choose from. On a bad note, mysurvey is still giving me a hard time on past payments and have come to the conclusion to just let it go, but I want all to watch and please document everything you do on Lifepoints, because even with the proof of a home survey I did, and had all the screenshots, They still not pay me the 900 points owed since November 2018 and another large point diary. Also, the site times out and you have to keep logging in and I have lost a couple surveys. Right now, if fact, been working on the Payments Diary for the month of May, and went to go in it yesterday, and it disappeared, alot of time spent already in it, now they are gonna get back to me,,,,very frustrating, but at the same time, some things do work out, so its a coin toss for me.

Secondly, had something happen to me, on Superpayme. So you can cashout at 1.00 and I have been withdrawing small payments to my PaYPAL., for a couple weeks, well now I went to login, and they have my account locked. They say that before I can do anymore surveys they must wait for everything already completed has to be approved and they get paid first. STrange huh? Have you ever seen or heard this mikael.? Please let me know, ty.

Great to hear about the sites you have been paid by.

About Lifepoint it definitely sounds frustrating. It is a good advice to document everything to be on the safe side. Thanks for that.

I have not tried anything like that with Superpay.me. But I usually also wait until I have collected a bit more to withdraw – don’t know if that has anything to do with it even though it should not matter. But I have been in contact with their support several times and they have always been fast and helpful. So I would suggest you to write their support and get an explanation.

    • When it comes to SurveyRewardz I would not be worried about doing this as it makes sense they need to check before unlocking a blocked account. But I do understand your concerns and I am also careful which sites I would do this for. Personally, I would do it for SurveyRewardz but it is ultimately up to you to decide – if you do not feel comfortable with it, you definitely should not do it. Then maybe you can ask them if there is another way.

Let me know how it goes.

  62. OOPS!! HI Mikael I have been benefitting greatly from your survey course, but it looks like I have learned a hard lesson from Surveyrewardz! I should have read their terms completely so that when I was using my VPN (for my security) on their website, I would have known that I was not allowed to use it and would not have had my account blocked.

Their support team told me that because I used a Proxy, on their site, my account would remain blocked! I wrote them back and apologized for doing this and that I did not understand what a Proxy was nor read their terms and conditions completely. I then said I hope they would give me a second chance and unblock my account. I hope they will because I told them I like their site and that we all make mistakes and should be given a second chance. I also have Five dollars in my account balance with them!

Is there anything else that I can do about this? Thank you. Sincerely Jim.

    • Glad to hear you have benefited from my course Jim.

Sorry to hear about you being blocked by SurveyRewardz. Many sites are very strict with VPNs – I have also gotten myself into problems with this a few times without being aware. Sometimes a site understands when it is an honest mistake. If they really want to provide good customer service, they should be able to see this from looking at your activity.

I was actually just recently blocked from SurveyRewardz myself because I logged in while I was on holiday in another country than where I signed up from. They agrred to unblock my account as I explained the situation.

Hope they will also unblock yours as they should be able to see it is an honest mistake.

But there is nothing else you can really do if they do not unblock it. They have the right to block anyone that do not follow their rules whether it is on purpose or not. So let’s just hope they will be understanding and give you a second chance.

Let me know how it goes.

      Thanks,
      Mikael

  64. Hi Mikael, is it just me or what? I have only qualified for ONE survey on Surveytime so far! 🙁 I know you say quite often that this happens but I was on Surveytime going through at least 8 of the surveys they came up for me in their “Algorithm” Yet, I still cant qualify. how many do I need to try on that site to qualify?

I am doing the surveys on other sites, but surveytime pays at least $1! Should I just be more persistent?

    Reply
    • Hi James,

There is no exact answer for how many you need to try to qualify. But 1 out of 8 is definitely not a lot and must be frustrating. I think on average I qualify for around 50% of the surveys on Surveytime. But it is different from person to person, country to country, and also from time to time. Sometimes I find that there can be many in a row I qualify for and other times I will experience what you are experiencing.

So difficult to give an exact answer. Sorry I cannot say more.

  66. Hi again Mikael, I clicked on your link again after I created my GrabPoints account and something STRANGE happened! I was taken to a site called ZoomBucks! Are they legit or are they trying to use your links to phish people away from GrabPoints? I hope you will look into this and also do a review on this ZoomBucks site. Thank you.

    • Thank you very much again Jim. I really appreciate you telling me this.

I had no idea that happened. I am actually reviewing ZoomBucks right now and will post a review of it later this week. It is owned by the same company so that might be why they redirect you there.

But they should not use my link for this without me knowing this – especially since ZoomBucks is a site I, as with what it is offering now, will not recommend. So I will look into this right away and try to see what is going on.

      Thank you very much.

As far as I am aware, Valued Opinions does not recruit members in the US anymore – that is why it is not on the list. But instead, the same company owns and runs Opinion Outpost which is on the list.

      Hope this answers your question?

I just wonder if I was really engaged in it how much I could’ve earned.

In all seriousness though I live in a small town, a rural area I guess you could say. I find more times than not that as soon as I get to where you enter your zip code, I’m automatically do not qualify!?!

Do you know of any sites that you would/could recommend I try that doesn’t discriminate based on what the population in your town is?

I’m sorry to bother you with something that sounds so CrAzY, I’m just at a loss, and I figured if anyone may know which direction to point me in, it would be you.

Thanks for doing what you do, I for one greatly appreciate your time and effort you put into it.

    • Hi Donna,

First of all thank you very much for your kind feedback. Glad to hear you like the info here.

Have you tested all the sites on this list above to see if any of them give you better opportunities? Because these are some of the best in the US. In addition to the ones on the list, you can also try Superpay.me, which also usually has many opportunities in the US.

You will however on most survey sites not qualify for all the surveys (except for Paidviewpoint, where you will not be offered a survey you do not qualify for). And sometimes they are looking for people in certain areas. But if you live closer to a big city, you could also try to write the zip code of this to see if that helps. But first of all, I would recommend you to check all the sites on the list above, as some of them definitely should give you some opportunities.

Hope this helps and let me know, if you have any more questions.

      All the best,

  73. Thank you for your information. You have given great information about possibly getting paid for surveys.

How do you stop them from calling you? I simply want to get paid for my opinions. I do not want 1000 e-mails and calls a day. I am so new to this. I did this once before, never got paid, all I got were so many calls and e-mails.

I just really need some extra money as I lost my job a few months back. Can you give me any other advise on the scammer companies and the better sites, and what and what not to do?

Also, I am afraid to put personal information in. I do have a PayPal account which is a safer account. Who would give their checking account number or real birth date. I do not give my real birth date either. I also have set up a yahoo account just for this.

I am an honest woman, but I do not want to be scammed. They gather up all your info and then the scammers will have it all. I just would like to get paid for my honest opinions. Any more advice you can share with me. I am not looking to make a million dollars, but a small amount helps buy bread, milk, peanut butter, gas for my car. Everyone can understand what I am saying right? a little extra money.

I will continue to read more on this site. It has been helpful.

What are the worse ones to stay away from? Some sites keep going on and on with questions promising you 50 bucks at the end. I have not gotten a penny. They are robbing you of the info, and then they do not pay. This is so wrong. I waste 25 minutes doing the survey and then nothing – they just cut me off. Then within 5 minutes I am getting calls and texts and emails – shouldn’t this be illegal? False advertisement. I am afraid to even give my PayPal number, which I have not yet, but I may open a separate one. Some places say they will send a check, but i don’t believe that.

What do you think are my best options for making a couple of hundred dollars a month? Thank you for sharing your information. And thank you to everyone for sharing their voices.

    • Hi Karen,

Sorry to hear you have had bad experiences with survey sites in the past. Sounds like you have been unlucky to join some of the poor sites/scam sites. Luckily there are also many great sites that do not sell your info and that pays out without any problems.

In general, few legit survey sites will ask for your phone number. There are a few where you need to do this to confirm that you are a real person, but usually you will not be asked to do this until after you have joined and can see for yourself that it is a legit site. So if a survey site is asking for your phone number during registration, you should do a bit of research about it before joining.

There are however many survey sites that has what is called paid offers or offer walls. Sometimes you can be asked for your phone number to complete one of these offers, and if you take one of these, it will most likely be because they will call you. These offers are legit, if you take them on one of the legit survey sites, and you should be able to see this in the conditions for each offer, if they will call you – it might not be easy to find, but it should be there, and it is a good idea to check out the conditions before taking any of these offers from the offer walls. They can sometimes give you some really nice earnings as they often have high rewards, so they can be worth looking into – you just have to make sure to check the conditions, so you do not end up taking offers where you will be called, if you do not want this.

As for the best options to take paid surveys, I would suggest you to join the sites on this list, if you live in the US. All of the sites on this list are legit sites, and you can make some nice extra money on the side by joining these. Be aware that no matter what survey sites you join, you will sometimes not qualify for surveys. And sometimes it happens a lot. But after a while, you will be able to figure out what kind of surveys you most often qualify for, and then not waste too much time on the ones where you end up not qualifying after already having spent more than 5 minutes on them.

There are some signs about which survey sites to stay away from. I have made an article about surveys scams, where you can read what to be aware of before joining a survey site.

But as mentioned, the sites on my list of the recommended sites for the US are all legit. So for a start I would recommend you to choose 4-6 of these and join them. Joining more can be confusing and better to join this amount, and then you can always join more later, once you have become familiar with how a few of them work, and how you use the options there.

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask, if you have any more questions.

      All the best,
      Mikael

      • I joined vindale, Inboxdollars and one other one last night. I was initially careful to not give my phone number, but was tired and not thinking and let autofill do its thing. 1) I got two calls at 8:30 this morning, and 7 more today plus two texts. Most calls are nit leaving messages. Plus an email from another site that I did not sign up for.
        2) One offer on Inboxdollars was for $3 name brand perfume from scentbird, which had horrible reviews about their shipments and many BBB complaints.
        3) So, is there an easy way to tell which sites you have to buy something or sign up for a service you may not want, just so you can get the $5 sign up bonus and 10 cenys for surveys? Thanks for all of your info, it seems very thorough.

        Reply
        • Hi Lise,

Do you remember the name of the last one you signed up for? because Vindale and InboxDollars do not share your info just for signing up. The legit sites will, in general, not share your information and will only ask for phone number when it is for verification purposes. But it is always important to look at the terms right when signing up – there are a few sites that will say you have to agree to let their marketing partners contact you. But that is only very few.

However, many sites have different offers you can sign up for once you are a member in addition to the surveys. Some of the offers can be great but you have to be aware before signing up for any of the contests. Often you will see contests where you just have to give your info to get the chance to win a free iPhone or similar. Always read what it says in small in the terms for these contests – usually, that is where you will agree to be contacted by advertisers.

But on the majority of survey sites, you will not have your info shared just for signing up and by taking surveys. So I am really curious to hear the name of the last platform you signed up for so I can look more into this. So please share the name of the last platform if you remember.

        • Hi Mohammed,

Officially you are only allowed to use your own account on most survey sites and if they find out you do they will see it as fraud and ban your account. Many sites also do not allow you to log in from a different country than where you registered. If you do, they might ban the account.

But some sites do allow you to log in from other countries. It depends on the site so you would have to check the terms for the particular sites.

In general, the best is, however, to join the best sites in your own country with your own account.

          Hope this helps.

      • Survey sites want your honest opinion and sometimes they only look for certain demographics. Most of them have high security in place, so if you start making up your demographics profile to try and qualify for more surveys, you can end up getting banned from the sites.

So my best advice is to make sure to also use other sites if there is a particular site you rarely qualify on. I also have an article about how to qualify for surveys more often you can check out.

If you live in a country where there are not many surveys available, you can try to look more into the options on the sites that offers other ways to make some extra money as well. For example ClixSense that has the CrowdFlower tasks or TimeBucks that has a range of ways that are available no matter where you live.

My intention was to make some extra money, but I didn’t qualify for a lot of the surveys on the site. After spending several minutes filling out the questionnaire just to learn you don’t qualify was discouraging. I joined Survey Junkie, what do you think of their site?

    • Hi Edgar,

I do not know too much about Survey Junkie yet. It is one of the sites I have not tested yet, but will write it on the list of sites to look into.

There will however almost on any survey site be surveys you do not qualify for. On some there are a lot more you qualify for than on others. After doing surveys for a while, you will however be able to figure out which kinds of surveys you most often qualify and then just spend your time on trying those. The only site that I know where you will always qualify for the surveys you are offered is PaidViewpoint. That is great, and it is great site to join, if you live in the US, but it does not offer as many opportunities as many other sites. So it can definitely be worth joining some of the other sites as well and be a bit patient in the beginning and spend some time figuring out what kinds of surveys work for you. And of course if there are sites where you never qualify, then go to other sites instead. There are plenty of good sites.

      All the best,
      Mikael
