I have used LifePoints Panel over several years and have been paid by it several times. Below is my payment proof, how the surveys and points work, and the problems readers report before you join.
Legit and easy to use, best as an extra survey site
Decent rewards for your time and PayPal or gift cards from about $5 to $10. Surveys only, and support is slow at times.
Free to join. Open in around 45 countries, from age 16.

The short answer
LifePoints Panel is legit. I have been paid by it several times, and I show my PayPal proof below. It is very easy to use, the rewards are decent for the time you spend, and there is a long-established market research company behind it.
But surveys are the only real way to earn, and there might not be surveys every day. Support is slow at times, and some readers report closed accounts and lost points. Join it as one of your survey sites, not as the only one.
- Free to join and very easy to use
- Decent rewards for the time you spend
- Good payout methods: PayPal and gift cards
- A fairly low threshold: about $5 to $10, depending on your country
- App for iOS and Android, and a mobile-friendly website
- Surveys are the only real way to earn
- Support is slow at times and can send standard replies
- Readers report closed accounts and lost points
- What your points are worth depends on the reward you pick
- A very small joining bonus

Is LifePoints legit and safe?
Yes, LifePoints Panel is legit, with long-lasting companies behind it. I have been paid by it several times. But it has some downsides you should know about before you join.
- Readers report closed accounts
Since 2019, readers have written that their account was closed or disabled and their points were forfeited, some of them right before a cashout. Most of these reports are from 2019 to 2024, and other readers report being paid. I have always been paid for the surveys I completed. Never use a VPN: it will get you banned from all panels.
- Support is slow at times
When I contacted support, I got a fairly quick reply, but it seemed like a standard reply that did not fully answer my question. Readers report the same, and some waited months for missing points from diaries. Keep a note of the surveys you complete.
- Your points have no fixed value
What your points are worth depends on the reward you pick. Where I live, $15 through PayPal cost 1,150 points, while a gift card for the same amount cost 1,100 points. As a rough average, 10 points are worth about $0.15.
- Surveys only, and not every day
Surveys are the only real way to earn, and there might not be surveys every day. Some surveys only need a few respondents, so take them soon after you get the invitation.
My takeOverall, I think LifePoints Panel can be a great extra survey site to join. In my experience, it is very easy to use, gives decent rewards, and has good payout methods. I do not think you should join it as the only site, as that would give you too few surveys. But as one of your chosen sites, it can be an easy way to get access to surveys.
How you earn on LifePoints
There are 3 ways to earn. Surveys make up almost all of the money. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMain earner
After you sign up and confirm your email, you answer a few questions, which takes around 1 minute. Then you get access to your dashboard.
You will likely not see surveys right away. I started receiving email invitations after around 1 day. You do not have to log in to check: click the link in the email. The email always shows the reward before you start.
In my experience, the rewards for the time spent are pretty decent compared to other survey sites, and my acceptance rate has been quite high. Many surveys are about political and societal topics, which makes them interesting.
Free contests in the Community tabLuck only
The Community tab lists the current contests. They usually link to the LifePoints Facebook page, where you answer a question, tag a friend or similar.
You can usually find one around once per week, and the reward is usually worth $10. Often more than 1,000 people take part, so your chance of winning is small. It does not take long, so it can be a nice extra chance.
Joining bonus and profile surveysAround $0.30
You get 10 points for signing up and 10 points for confirming your email. Depending on your country, you can also earn extra points by taking some extra profile surveys.

How much can you make?
LifePoints Panel is a way to make a bit of extra cash on the side. It had a decent number of surveys during my testing, but it will not give you more than some extra side cash.
How many surveys you get depends on the country you live in. Make sure you also join some top-paying survey sites to get enough earning opportunities.
As LifePoints is so simple and easy to use, it can be a nice extra survey site to join.
Payout methods and minimums
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | From $5 in some countries, around $10 in others | $15 cost me 1,150 points where I live |
| Gift cards | Varies by card and country | A $15 IKEA gift card cost 1,100 points where I live |
| Charity donation | Varies | Donate your points instead of cashing out |
Every survey pays points, which you redeem in the rewards store. The rewards you can pick depend on your country, and your earnings are in your local currency. If you want more sites with PayPal, see the best survey panels that pay through PayPal.
Overall, the threshold is not too high, but the point system can be a bit confusing at first.
Is LifePoints worth it in your country?
LifePoints is available in around 45 countries, and the number of surveys differs per country. Pick your country to see where LifePoints stands on my list of the best sites there.
What 61 readers told me
This review has 61 comments since 2019: 31 from readers and 30 replies from me. These are the four things readers write about most.
Readers report accounts closed and points forfeited, mostly from 2019 to 2024. Never use a VPN. If you did nothing wrong, contact support, but expect slow help.
Mostly from 2019, after the merger: missing points for diaries and surveys, and generic replies. Keep a note of what you complete.
No, at least not where I live.
LifePoints only accepts members in some countries. It opens panels in new countries regularly.
“they DO NOT reply to any emails and they keep sending surveys to my email.”
Mikael: in my experience, Lifepoints, in general, does not have great support, so it can be hard to solve any potential issues.
“3 days after registered, I’m unable to login and I contacted support and they said I did not pass security check with 3rd party.”
Mikael: Not sure exactly what check they have made. But make sure you are not using VPN or anything like that, as that will be a red flag.
“I am very happy with lifepoints panel. Today i received flipkart Giftcard worth INR 300 (340 lifepoints) that i requested to redeem before 5 days.”
Mikael: That is really great to hear. Glad my reviews have helped you and thanks for the update.

Not sure what happened to my account, wondered if you have heard of any issues lately? I go to log in and keeps saying my informatioin is not correct, maybe change password, which i did, they DO NOT reply to any emails and they keep sending surveys to my email. strange. If they did deactivate me, would they still send surveys to email? okay reach out if you can share anything new with me. ty
Sounds very strange. I have not heard of any particular issues. But in my experience, Lifepoints, in general, does not have great support, so it can be hard to solve any potential issues. Unfortunately, I cannot help as I have not heard anything and I do not have any contacts there, but I will update the review if I get any new info.
Hello, I can’t believe my Lifepoints account.
What do you mean?
Does the LifePoints Panel have a referral system
No, at least not where I live.
I registered to Lifepoints after hearing about it from friends in my country (Indonesia). They said the pay is good, lots of surveys.
3 days after registered, I’m unable to login and I contacted support and they said I did not pass security check with 3rd party.
That left me confused because I always put honest info with all the survey sites and never had any trouble or security check with 3rd party.
Any info about their 3rd party security check?
Not sure exactly what check they have made. But make sure you are not using VPN or anything like that, as that will be a red flag.
Was a member for over a decade and out of nowhere after I requested a cash out they deactivated my account and wouldn’t respond to any of my emails
Is it possible to update the lifepoint referral link?
Not sure what you mean?
This the worst survey platform, they never pays even after completing survey. Survey and videos in survey loads very badly. Their app and website has now become totally useless, people are leaving it. They are now sending their surveys to several other platform. Even there their survey don’t gave any points even after completion. I don’t know why companies are giving surveys to Lifepoints or Kantar, totally waste of companies and person who are replying survey by Kantar.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Personally, I have always been paid for the surveys I have completed on LifePoints, and I have heard from hundreds of my followers that they have also been paid without problems. So cannot say what has happened in your case but sounds like it is a better match for you to use other survey sites instead.
Mike, I have been utilizing different online side hustle platforms for a few years now, as well as in person consumer market research studies. Just recently discovered your blog and videos, and you have definitely presented me with additional avenues to explore to make money online. Thank you, your knowledge and your time to create what you do has been valuable to me. LifePoints is one of my top surveying apps that I utilize on a daily. The Profile questions are very specific and so the surveys offered to me I typically qualify for and if I don’t I don’t waste 10 minutes answering pre-qualifying questions only to get denied. I answer 3 /4 questions and I am rewarded a few LifePoints if I’m not a fit. They released an update yesterday, now expanding to 3 new countries. I would love to see an updated review from you as many aspects you mentioned above are incorrect. I’m able to cash out at $5, the community tab regularly has new offers, and enjoyable surveys which you are compensated fairly for your time. This app definitely boosts my online earnings and I know your thorough review will appeal to many people looking to earn money online. Your top notch thank you!!
Thanks for sharing your experiences, and happy to hear you like my content.
I will make sure to update the review above again asap.
I also did the surveys for about 2 years. Probably got about 6 or 7 Amazon gift cards. All of the sudden they said I violated the rules. I never ever did. I answered honestly and to the best of my knowledge. They also took all my points. I would never recommend this panel
Sorry to hear that. One thing is to make sure you do not have a VPN activated. You might not even know it but if you use one, you will get banned from all panels.
But thanks for sharing your experiences.
I have been using Lifepoints on and off for more than a year and successfully redeemed more than a $100 worth of PayPal cash and gift cards. On July 18, I attempted logging in but received a “Sorry, your membership is temporarily unavailable. Please contact our Help Center for support” message. So I e-mailed, and after waiting a day, got an e-mail back saying I “violated the point rules” and my “account had been terminated and points have been forfeited.” I responded asking why – to my knowledge I’ve done nothing wrong and always answered the surveys honestly and never used a bot – and was told the case was escalated but my account will remain closed. They never told me why my account was closed or what my alleged violation was.
So I would recommend using another survey app, lest you get too deep into this one and randomly lose your account someday for some reason they never bother to tell you. Survey Junkie works pretty well.
Sorry to hear that, but thanks for sharing your experiences.
Hi, Mikael, love your in depth review of survey sites, but in many survey site you do not mention about their referral programme so, do they not have referral programmes.
Usually, I write in my reviews if a platform has a referral program.
I read on a few forums like Reddit that many people get banned right as they’re about to be able to cash out their earnings. Thought it couldn’t happen to me, but it just did 2 weeks ago. My account is now “temporarily disabled” just as I was one survey away from being able to get my money, so I basically worked for them for free and they keep the pay.
I wrote to them but they only answered that I broke their terms and conditions, not which rule or when. I hear that’s how they usually do it.
I have never had any problems getting paid. But if you have used VPN, you will definitely get banned so if you have done that it is likely the explanation.
Registration passed. Received an activation letter. I followed the link and see the message: “You are not qualified for our community. You do not currently meet our partner selection criteria. We strongly recommend that you try again in 30 days. “
LifePoints does currently not accept members in your country. But they are opening panels in new countries regularly and that is why they ask you to try again later.
I am very happy with lifepoints panel. Today i received flipkart Giftcard worth INR 300 (340 lifepoints) that i requested to redeem before 5 days. Now, i have again earned 274 points and waiting for them to reach 806 and it is worth 10$ paypal. Your survey reviews helped me 2 times. Firstly, surveytime.io and now lifepoints panel…. i joined these both by reading your reviews…….just want to say u thanku…❤
That is really great to hear. Glad my reviews have helped you and thanks for the update.
hi mikeal
i’m from syria and i love to work on lifepoints panel but it’s not available in my country so i want to work on lifepoints from usa
so i hope to learning me how i can to create an account on lifepoints from usa by using a proxy
and what i want from programs, extensions on firefox and tools for create the account
i hope you to help me please
using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN and they will block you and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country. You can see the best worldwide sites here.
Hey Mikael! I tried to join lifepoints panel through your affiliate link & after selecting my country India, it first showed me 127.0.0.1 connection error & after trying for a few minutes the above error went, but now it is redirecting me to another link.
XXXXXXXXXx
This is the link.
Some Millionaire scam.
Could you please look into the signup link for India?
Thanks for making me aware if this. I think it might be because the affiliate link is not working anymore and then it is for some reason set to redirect to another site that I definitely do not want to promote. Not great – sorry about that. I will look into this right away and get rid of the link.
Thanks again for making me aware of this.
hy ,i am in bahrain but from kenyan nationality ihave joined several survey sites including swagbucks but upto now they have never unlocked surveys or i dont receive tasks to earn money..ihave been trying to unlock them but all goes on vain, again the company like YUNO it sends tasks to me with arabic langauge and i am not arabic speaker..hy try to change langauge to english but it remains the same..ineed help please
first of all, Swagbucks is not available in Bahrain. If you have joined it it must be through a VPN to make it look like you are from a different country. If this is what you have done, it is fraud and goes against their terms and then will end up banning you.
You can check out this list of the best international sites. You will be able to join these from anywhere.
I signed up for the live point but after a few working hours the membership has been canceled. After I signed up with another email, I was not made a new member.
did you use VPN or anything like that to make it look like you are from a country where you do not live? Because that is fraud and they will block your account if you do this.
And it is not possible to just create a new account – they have blocked you because they believe you do not live up to their terms and creating a new account will not help. That also goes against their terms.
I have been locked out of my account. They told me I exited out. That is bull, why would I do that and not use my points first? They said I would need another email address to get my points reinstated! That is crap and told them so. Get an IT department that knows what they are doing. Since the merger there have been several problems with peoples accounts. We think this company is scaming the points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear that Jerry. But thanks for sharing your experiences.
Did you try to use another email to get your points reinstated even though it is, of course, annoying having to do that? Hope you will be able to get your points soon.
Joined life points 3 months ago after reading ur review, it was good for first 2 months, but past month has been really tough, no surveys to do, giving only 25 points surveys, two weeks ago i completed a survey and earned 100 points which they deleted claiming they were wrongly added so they i don’t reach payout, they replied we will look in to it in 5-7 days but nothing happened, in short this site is slowly and gradually moving to be a scam,i’ll rate it 2 stars
Sorry tp hear that Dinesh. If you did not hear back from their support again, I would definitely suggest to write them again.
Thanks for sharing your experience and hope they sort it out for you soon.
Hello, recently I have been having a problem and it is that my surveys do not load and automatically say that I do not qualify, this happens with all the surveys since September 26, I want to know if someone else has been presenting this problem
I have not experienced anything like that Michael. Just completed a survey through LifePoints today. Hopefully it will soon start working for you again – if not, it might be worth writing their support.
Keep me updated about how it goes.
You are work lifepoints in what country? I’m from usa
I am in Scandinavia. Maybe there just is a temporary glitch in the US? Have you tried from another browser og device ass well?
Well, after numerous emails, and tickets, (and i mean NUMEROUS), Requesting my points for 3 large diarys, including a home study, from November 2018, I have finally been compensated with the points. Now, I am still doing surveys with them, but I note everything now, and still not happy completely with them, in fact, i finally told them to just close the tickets and keep the points. I have had a couple issues recently and they in fact have responded and taken care of. I am sorry to hear others have had issues. But their are alot of survey websites that are legit that you can go to , so do not get disappointed and just move to another. I wish all of you luck, and thank you Mickael for all you do. Darlene
Great to hear you finally got your rewards Darlene. And thanks for sharing so many of your experiences here with the rest of us.
yes lifepoints paid for some past diaries, but it has been a nightmare, different answers from different support employeees, and still owe me for a couple more, but i just told them, keep it, im not sending anymore tickets, and i just stopped doing diaries, they do not pay when they are supposed to and give you the amount that the email says, just easier and less stress to forget the diaries, too many other companies that handle business much smoother.
Thanks for the update about this Darlene. I have not had any problems with them at all. But I have also only been doing regular surveys and not done any diaries. But with your experience with them, I definitely understand you focus on some of the many other options instead.
I too, have been locked out of my account. It took weeks for them to reply, I was told my membership was cancelled. I was told I probably cancelled it by mistake. I did everything I was told to get my account up and runing by registering under a different email address with the promise of transferring my existing points worth $25.00. Now my new account is temporarily closed. I signed in once to check on the account and bam, no more. I’ve sent 2 emails pleaing to open my account and nothing. I don’t think the company wants to pay out points.
Sorry to hear that Beverly – but thanks for sharing your experience.
Similar to the above, I was a member of MySurveys which became LifePoints, and while the graphics and colors are ‘new and improved’, the perform of the website and customer support is no better than before, and in several ways worse.
At any given time I will have 6 to 10 surveys in my “Ongoing Surveys” box, but at best only one of them will be an actual ‘Ongoing’ survey. The others will be surveys which did not open, surveys which froze while I was working on them, or surveys which I completed but did not receive points for. If I submit a “Help” request either through their ‘Chat’ function, which is seldom active, or through their “Help” button, the first reply is seemingly grabbed randomly from a list of potential answers. So if I say “I completed survey #xxxxxx and was not credited with my 100 points” the reply might be “Don’t be discouraged, you’ll have an opportunity to complete another survey soon” or “Sometimes surveys have a limited number of respondents, next time be more prompt in responding to the email invite you receive”.
Frustrating.
Sorry to hear that. But thank you very much for sharing your experiences.
Mikael
Are all your responses automated Mikael?
All my responses are 100% manually added by myself.
If people have any questions or anything I can help with, I will do my best to answer. But if there is not much I can say or help with, I will just approve the comment and thanking for sharing the experience as I think it is important people can see other experiences as well. If you look around my site, I am sure you will see I give a lot of very personal responses whenever people ask questions or need help.
Life points app has been discontinued .
There used to be an app that was called LifePoints app – that does not exist anymore but the website itself is working as it was just launched earlier in 2019. So it is true the app does not exist but it is still possible to use the website itself on mobile just without an app.
Membership just got cancelled and I lost my points! I have messaged them continually as I can log in, read stories, but when I click on “START” a survey I always get “router cint refused to connect” I always got an automated reply, and absolutley no help for the past 2 months. Many people have said exactly the same and their accounts have been suspended. Shame on Lifepoints!
Very sorry to hear this Lynda. But thanks for sharing your experience.
Mikael
I have had issues with support myself as I am still awaiting payment from November last year, I get different messages from I will see the payment in 6 to 8 weeks, to I will see payment next week, and have yet to receive. and then they want to close your support ticket by just a reply from them which I’m not gonna rate the ticket because it is not solved yet, (just by them replying) is not solved.
Sorry to hear you are still having problems with this. This is the issue from when it was MySurveys, right?
Really hope they will solve it for you soon.
yes it is, and another thing now, you are right in the middle of surveys and the site times out, but they are for the most point decent paying surveys and not that difficult so i take the good with the bad. another feature, you cannot see the survey number anymore in the history, only lists the date and the points, (redeemed or earned), you have to write that down immediately so you can keep track. The best advice i can say is write down EVERYTHING with lifepoints and screenshot as well, and then…just hope they reply and actually FIX the issue within 9 months
Thanks for adding that Darlene. That is good to know.
