20 best survey sites that pay in Bitcoin

Each of the sites below has different opportunities and options. To increase your chances of earning it is, therefore, a good idea to join several of the sites. If you are new, joining 5-7 sites is a great start.

The list will regularly be updated as new sites will start paying in Bitcoin, so make sure to bookmark the page and come back and check it once in a while.

#1 Freecash.com

How you earn
Surveys, offers, games
Bitcoin from
$5first cash-out $5 to $20, depending on your country
Other payouts
PayPal · Litecoin · Ethereum +2 more

Freecash offers several ways to earn. If you are looking for ways to earn free Bitcoin instantly, this is one of your best options. You can find plenty of surveys here, and there are also many paid offers you can take. And you can join from most countries.

What makes Freecash particularly interesting if you want to earn Bitcoin by taking surveys and doing other online micro-tasks is that the payout threshold is only $0.25, and you get your earnings immediately after cashing out.

You can also choose to get paid in other ways, and if you want to take surveys for crypto, you have some great choices as BTC is not the only crypto it pays in. Each payout method has its own payout threshold, but they are, in general, easy to reach. And if you join through the link below, you will get a free case you can claim and get a great joining bonus into your account right away.

#2 PrizeRebel

How you earn
Surveys, offers, contests
Bitcoin from
$5
Other payouts
PayPal · Crypto · Gift cards

PrizeRebel is one of my favorite GPT sites, and it recently started offering crypto rewards for surveys, which I was very happy to see.

It has a good number of high-paying surveys, but you can also earn by taking paid offers, participating in free contests, and it has membership levels, so you get more benefits the more active you are.

Once you have earned only $5, you can get paid in Bitcoin or other cryptos like Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and more. You can also choose to get paid in PayPal cash or gift cards.

#3 Gemsloot

Available in
How you earn
Games, offers, surveys
Bitcoin from
$0.50
Other payouts
PayPal · Gift cards · Crypto

Gemsloot is one of the highest paying GPT sites. You can especially find games that pay more than on most other GPT sites.

It is user friendly, and you can join from more or less all countries.

If you want to convert your earnings to Bitcoin, you’ll only need to earn $0.50 to do so. If you prefer other rewards, you can redeem various other cryptocurrencies or gift cards. But if you want to convert your earnings to cash, you’ll need to earn at least $3 to withdraw your earnings via PayPal.

#4 CashInStyle

Available in
More or less global
How you earn
Surveys, ads, contests, offers
Bitcoin from
$2
Other payouts
PayPal · Gift cards

CashInstyle is a GPT (Get-Paid-To) site that will let you earn by completing surveys, watching ads, participating in contests, and completing offers. What makes it a good option is that it has a decent number of opportunities available at any given time so that you can earn regularly.

It has multiple payout options, including PayPal, gift cards via Tremendous, and crypto. The threshold you must reach to withdraw your earnings will depend on your payout method, but the lowest starts at $2.

It doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but the member dashboard is mobile-friendly, so you can earn conveniently using your phone.

#5 Timebucks

How you earn
Surveys, offers, social media tasks
Bitcoin from
$3paid in crypto, not Bitcoin itself
Other payouts
PayPal · Skrill · AirTM +5 more

Timebucks is a bit different than most of the sites on this list for several reasons. It offers many of the same earning methods – like surveys and offers, but it also has some ways to earn that are quite unusual, like getting paid to follow people on social media, watching content, and more. And if you invite others to join, it can also give some nice extra earnings.

A great thing is that you can join no matter the country you live in, and you will always be able to find a way to earn here. Some of the methods do not pay very well, while others pay very well. But if you take the time to get to know the site, it has good opportunities.

You can get paid in crypto (not Bitcoin itself) as well as several other payout methods (see full list above) – the payout threshold for this is only $3.

#6 RedMonkey

Available in
How you earn
Surveys, offers
Bitcoin from
$10
Other payouts
Crypto · Gift cards

RedMonkey is easy to use and offers several ways to earn.

In addition to earning by taking surveys, you can also find a large number of paid offers and more.

Once you have earned $10, you can get paid in BTC. You can also choose to get paid in other cryptos like LTC, ETH, Solana, and more. And you can also choose between different gift cards.

#7 Honeygain

How you earn
Passive appShares your internet · no surveys
Bitcoin from
$0.50through JumpTask
Other payouts
PayPal · Crypto · Visa +2 more

Honeygain is a Bitcoin GPT site that does actually not offer surveys as a way to earn. However, I still decided to put it on this list as it offers one of the easiest ways to earn Bitcoin for free, as you can earn completely passively just by having it installed.

You just install Honeygain on your computer or mobile and will then earn by sharing your unused internet bandwidth. So if you have unlimited internet, it can be a great and easy way to earn.

It used to pay directly in Bitcoin, but it has, unfortunately, removed this option. But I decided to leave it on this list as it is still an easy way to earn crypto passively. You can instead get paid via the crypto JMPT and just exchange this into Bitcoin. If you choose to get paid in the crypto JMPT, you can get paid instantly. If you join through the link below, you will get a $5 joining bonus into your account right away.

#8 Pawns

How you earn
Passive appShares your internet + surveys
Bitcoin from
$5check the fee before you cash out
Other payouts
PayPal · Payoneer · Visa +1 more

In addition to earning Bitcoin by taking surveys, Pawns also offers you to earn passively just by having it installed, which is what makes it a good option.

It offers surveys in many countries, and you can earn in more or less all countries just by installing the app on your phone or computer and sharing your unused internet bandwidth.

Once you have earned $5, you can get paid into any BTC wallet, and you can also choose to get paid in PayPal cash or gift cards.

#9 Cointiply

Available in
How you earn

Dogecoin · Dash · Litecoin

Cointiply is available in all countries and it offers quite a lot of ways to earn free Bitcoins in most countries.

You can earn by taking surveys, use the faucet to earn free points, play games, invite friends, mining, watch videos, and more.

The only payout method Cointiply offers is cryptocurrencies. In addition to Bitcoin, you can also get paid in DIGE, DASH, or Litecoin. You can withdraw your earnings already when you have earned $5 or you can earn interest by leaving them in your account.

#10 EarnLab

Available in
How you earn
Surveys, offers, games, videos
Bitcoin from
Nonea transaction fee applies
Other payouts
PayPal · Crypto · Steam gift cards +1 more

EarnLab is a GPT site that lets you earn by answering surveys, completing offers, playing games, watching videos, and more. You can earn a decent amount quickly from it because there are a good number of opportunities at any given time.

You can convert your earnings to Bitcoin anytime you want, but you must keep in mind that there will be a transaction fee involved upon withdrawal, so it is recommended that you withdraw a significant amount to cover the transaction fee. You can also redeem other crypto, or you can get paid in cash via PayPal. You also have the option to convert your earnings to a prepaid Visa card or a Steam gift card.

It is available globally, so signing up won’t be a problem.

#12 Reward XP

Available in
How you earn
Mostly games, some surveys
Bitcoin from
$5as USDC to Coinbase
Other payouts
PayPal · Amazon gift cards · Gift cards

Reward XP is, first of all, an interesting site to join if you like playing online games as the best way to earn there is by doing this.

You can, however, also earn by taking paid surveys but, in my opinion, many of the other sites on this list are better if you only want to take surveys.

You can join no matter where you live, and you can withdraw your earnings into your Coinbase as USDC and then sawp it into BTC from there.

#13 Madai

Available in
How you earn
Surveys, community activity
Bitcoin from
$5Bitcoin vouchers
Other payouts
PayPal · Amazon gift cards

Madai is a unique and newer survey site. You can earn anonymously, and it cares a lot about your privacy compared to many other survey sites.

Also, the rewards you get per survey are high, and you will also earn from community activity, so you can start earning just by engaging, even before you take a survey, which is something I have not seen on other sites.

You can join it from all countries, and you only need to earn $5 to get paid in Bitcoin, PayPal, or gift cards.

#14 GrabPoints

How you earn
Surveys
Bitcoin from
$10not in all countries
Other payouts
PayPal · Gift cards

GrabPoints is a survey sites with quite a lot of syrveys (depensing on your country). You can join from more or less all countries.

You get quite high rewards for the surveys you take here compared to many other sites.

You just need to be aware that Bitcoin is not a reward option in all countries. But then you can get via PayPal or gift cards.

#15 Superpay.me

Available in
How you earn
Surveys, offers, cash contest
Bitcoin from
$30
Other payouts
PayPal · Skrill · Amazon gift cards +1 more

Superpay.me has many daily surveys and paid offers. It is however a little confusing to use in the beginning, so you just have to take a bit of time to get to know the platform. Once you get to know it, it has great potential, and in addition to the offers and surveys, it also has a great free cash contest, you can participate in.

You can get paid in Bitcoin, Wise, Skrill, and PayPal. Superpay.me has a really low payout threshold for most rewards, as you can get paid as soon as you have earned $1 – this is however not the case for Bitcoin. To get paid in Bitcoin, you have to wait until you have earned $30.

You can join Superpay.me no matter the country you live in – you just need to be aware that in some countries it has more options than in others.

#16 COIN App

Available in
Worldwide (some rewards limited by country)
How you earn
Passive appLocation sharing, surveys
Bitcoin from
0.025 BTCor cash out XYO and swap it
Other payouts
ETH · XYO crypto · Products

COIN App is known for letting you earn free crypto just by having it installed on your phone and sharing your location.

But it also offers other ways to earn free Bitcoin. You can, for example, take paid surveys and do other online micro-tasks.

The payout threshold for BTC is quite high, as you can see above, but if you do not want to wait that long, you can just take your earnings out as the crypto XYO and exchange it for Bitcoin.

#17 Rewards1

Available in
How you earn
Surveys, offers, videos
Bitcoin from
$5custom reward; ask support
Other payouts
PayPal · Gift cards · Game codes

Rewards1 is a GPT site with many ways to earn in addition to taking paid surveys. You will also get more and more benefits the more active you are.

It can be a bit confusing to use at first, but it has really good opportunities if you take the time to get to know how to use it.

It does no longer offer direct BTC payouts. But it has a custom payout option, so if this is the reward you want, you need to contact their support and request it.

#18 Toluna Influencers

How you earn
Surveys · app
Bitcoin from
$10only in very few countries
Other payouts
PayPal · Gift cards

Toluna Influencers is an easy-to-use paid survey site with quite a lot of available surveys and you can also download their app to take surveys on the go.

Even though Toluna is a great paid survey site, the reason it is not higher on this list is that it only offers Bitcoin as a reward in very few countries even though it is available in 60+ countries.

But if Bitcoin is not available in your country, you can get paid via PayPal or gift cards.

#19 Ember Fund

Available in
How you earn
Passive appDaily Bitcoin mining, surveys
Bitcoin from
$50around 50K sats
Other payouts

Ember Fund app offers several ways to earn Bitcoin for free.

The easiest way is to mine Bitcoin just by clicking a button once per day. Then you will automatically earn in the background all the time. You can earn more Bitcoin by taking surveys, participating in free contests, playing games, and doing micro tasks.

Overall, it is very easy to use and can be a great way to earn a bit of extra Bitcoin from your phone.

How to get paid in Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and a worldwide payment system. You do not have to understand all the technical details to start getting paid in Bitcoin. I do not understand all of them myself. But it is a good idea to get familiar with how it works, as it is quite different from what most of us are used to.

  1. Get a free Bitcoin walletOn your phone or computer. It is free, and you need one to get paid by the sites on this list.
  2. Copy your Bitcoin addressYour wallet gives you a Bitcoin address.
  3. Use it to cash outEnter that address on the survey site, and your rewards are paid out to your wallet.

Many platforms offer a Bitcoin wallet. These are the ones I use and recommend:

  • BinanceOne of the most trusted platforms. You get a free wallet for Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies, and you can learn more about how it all works.
  • NexoVery easy to use, and you earn interest on your Bitcoin just by keeping them there.
  • Crypto.comA great app if you are a complete crypto beginner. You get a free Bitcoin wallet just by signing up.

Where can you get paid in Bitcoin for taking surveys?

More and more sites let you get paid in Bitcoin for surveys and other small online tasks, but PayPal is still the most popular payout method.

Check the Bitcoin minimum

On some sites, the payout threshold for Bitcoin is higher than for other rewards, so it can take longer to get paid. Other sites have a very low threshold for Bitcoin. The “Bitcoin from” column in the comparison shows it for each site.

When you can cash out in BitcoinNumber of the 20 sites per Bitcoin minimum. Sites with no threshold count as $1 or less.
  • $1 or less4 of 20
  • $2 to $59 of 20
  • $6 to $104 of 20
  • $11 to $200 of 20
  • More than $202 of 20
  • Depends on country or option1 of 20

Several sites on the list are GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites. Next to surveys, they pay you for other tasks:

  • Taking offers
  • Watching videos
  • Playing games
  • Social media tasks

Boost your earnings

These other tasks work great in combination with surveys.

Few surveys for you?

If you have a hard time finding surveys you qualify for, you can still find plenty of ways to earn free Bitcoin on these sites.

All legit and free to join.

I have been paid by all the sites on this list myself, and they are 100% free to join and use.

How I choose the sites on this list

Frequently asked questions

Can you really earn Bitcoin for free?

Yes. I have done it for several years myself. You take surveys and do other small online tasks on sites that pay in Bitcoin, and you do not have to invest anything.

There are also many scams, so stick to legit sites. I have been paid by all the sites on this list.

Is there a legitimate Bitcoin earning app?

Yes. Freecash, Pawns, Cointiply and Ember Fund all have an app and pay in Bitcoin. Ember Fund lets you mine Bitcoin by clicking a button once a day, and Pawns pays you for sharing your unused internet.

Where can I earn free Bitcoin?

On the 20 sites in this list. My top 3 are Freecash, PrizeRebel and Gemsloot. The comparison shows the Bitcoin minimum of each site and how you earn there.

You need a free Bitcoin wallet to get paid. I explain how in the section How to get paid in Bitcoin?

How to get $5 free Bitcoin?

Earn $5 on a site that pays in Bitcoin from $5, like PrizeRebel, Pawns or Cointiply. Gemsloot pays Bitcoin from only $0.50.

Can you make $100 a day on surveys?

No, that is not realistic. Surveys and small online tasks are a way to earn a bit of free Bitcoin on the side, not a full income. Joining several sites and using their other tasks gives you more ways to earn.

Can I mine 1 Bitcoin a day?

No. Apps like Ember Fund let you mine a bit of free Bitcoin from your phone, but it is a small amount. See it as a bit of extra Bitcoin.

      • I am a ROBOX app user. I definitely believed in you cause its roo much amount for the subscription or purchase but its not worth it specially of you cant restart the mining right after 3 hours then you will lose some amount to be earned. Really not worth it. Currently i have 82X speed but i have paid more than the $15 that i have earned. I would just finish this speed then i will stop using this app

  4. Perhaps it’s different in England, but Freecash won’t let you cashout until you have a minimum of $5, thats a hell of a difference to your experience.

    • The thresholds recently changed, but it is actually still possible to get BTC paid out already when you have earned $0.25 if you cash out via Stake. That is, however, not an option I will personally use. For LTC it is only $0.50 and for ETH $2.50.

And reaching $5 to get paid via BTC does not take long anyways on Freecash, and I always wait to withdraw until I have accumulated more because the withdrawal fee is the same no matter how much you withdraw.
