The short answer

Cointiply is legit. It pays, and I have been paid by it many times myself. It started as a Bitcoin faucet in February 2018, and today you can earn in many ways: surveys, offers, games, ads and daily bonuses.

But you only get paid in crypto: Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Dash or Litecoin. There is no cash or PayPal option. Some earning methods pay very little, and the site can be confusing at first. Some readers report banned accounts and payouts that did not arrive.

What I like
  • Free to join
  • Many earning methods
  • Some earning methods are passive
  • Available in all countries
  • Low payout threshold: from 30,000 coins ($3)
What I don’t like
  • Some earning methods have low rewards
  • It can be a bit confusing to use at first
  • You cannot get your earnings out in cash
  • Offer rewards are lower than on the highest paying GPT sites

My experience with Cointiply

Is Cointiply legit and safe?

Yes, Cointiply is legit. It pays, and I have been paid by it many times. But that does not mean it is the right opportunity for you. Here is what you should know before you start.

  • Some readers report bans and payouts that did not arrive

I have used Cointiply for years and never had any problems. If you use a VPN or break the terms in other ways, Cointiply bans your account. If a payout does not arrive, contact their support through a ticket.

  • You only get paid in crypto

Cointiply pays to a Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Dash or Litecoin wallet. You need your own wallet, and you cannot get your earnings out in cash or to PayPal.

  • The Multiplier is a bet

You bet your coins for a chance to win more. If you do not stop in time, you lose what you bet. I find it fun, but also kind of addictive.

  • Read the conditions of every offer

Not all offers are worth it, so know exactly what you agree to. The rewards for paid offers are on the lower end. On the highest paying GPT sites, you often get more for the same offers.

  • Never use a VPN

Using a VPN breaks the terms, and you will get banned.

My takeOverall, I think Cointiply has some great opportunities to earn some extra money. It is not the most user-friendly site, so it takes a bit of time at first to learn how to use it the best way. But if you like getting paid in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and do it with the right expectations, it is, in my opinion, a site worth joining.

How you earn on Cointiply

There are 9 ways to earn. The Bitcoin faucet Cointiply was known for is no longer available. Surveys and offers pay the most. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysAverage pay
Paid surveys on Cointiply

You find them under “Earn Coins” → “Complete Surveys” in the top menu. There are many surveys from many different providers.

Because they come from third-party providers, you will not qualify for all of them, and you sometimes have to enter your details again. The pay is average for the time spent compared to other survey sites.

OfferwallsLower than top GPT sites

You get paid to download apps, sign up for free trials, watch videos, enter contests and more. Some offerwalls also have extra surveys.

There is a vast array of offers in one place, but the rewards are on the lower end. Always read the conditions before you start an offer. Not all of them are worth it. Read more about paid offers on offerwalls.

Spin the Wheel and Mystery BoxFree, daily and weekly
Cointiply Spin the Wheel game

Every day, you get free spins on the wheel. The more active you are, the higher your membership level, and the more spins you get. You can win coins, free spins and other rewards.

Every week, you get one free Mystery Box. It can pay up to $1,000, but that rarely happens. Normally, you get around 50 to 100 coins. It pays little, but it takes very little effort.

MultiplierA bet
Cointiply Multiplier

You choose how many coins to bet and pick a field. If you win, the first round multiplies your bet by 1.4. You can take the win or continue to 2.1, 3, 4.4, 6.5 and 9.4. Level 6 is the highest I have reached.

You can take the win at any time. If you continue too long, you lose what you bet.

Betting on the Multiplier also enters you in a weekly leaderboard contest. The 10 members who bet the most that week win a coin prize.

Online games31 coins per bar

Go to “Earn Coins” and click “play games” in the Cointiply sub-menu. You earn 31 coins when your activity bar fills up. Cointiply does not say how long that takes.

The reward is low, but you can find games in almost any genre.

Paid-to-click adsVery small
Example of a Cointiply PTC ad

You click an ad and watch it for a set number of seconds. The PTC tab has a decent number of ads, and some offerwalls have more.

The rewards are very small, so it takes a lot of clicks to make any real money. I do not use it very often.

MissionsSmall
Cointiply missions

Missions are things you do on the site anyway. If you are an active member, you complete them without doing anything special. The rewards are not high.

Loyalty bonusUp to 100%

Do something on the site every day, and you earn a 1% bonus for every day in a row, up to a 100% bonus.

If you miss one day, the bonus resets and you start from scratch. With a premium membership, you can miss some days.

Referral program10% commission

Share your referral link. You get a 10% commission every time your referral earns from offerwalls and paid offers. From time to time, Cointiply also holds referral contests with extra prizes.

Click to Check Out Cointiply Yourself

How much can you make?

It depends on how much time you put in. There are enough opportunities to spend a lot of time on the platform every day.

Many of the earning methods do not give huge rewards. But if you combine them and log in often to build the loyalty bonus, you can earn some nice extra cash.

Do not join if your goal is to get rich easily or make a fast full-time income. That is not the kind of money you can earn here.

Payout methods and minimums

MethodMinimumSpeed
Bitcoin wallet50,000 coins ($5)Usually 24–72 hours
Dogecoin (DOGE) wallet30,000 coins ($3)Usually 24–72 hours
Dash wallet30,000 coins ($3)Usually 24–72 hours
Litecoin (LTC) wallet30,000 coins ($3)Usually 24–72 hours

100 coins are worth $0.01, so 10,000 coins are worth $1. Your account shows your coins in dollars and in Bitcoin. The thresholds are low and easy to reach.

The first withdrawal usually takes the longest, because Cointiply checks that everything is OK. After that, I usually receive my earnings within 10–12 hours, which is very fast for a Get-Paid-To site.

These are the only payout methods. If you prefer PayPal, see the legit sites that pay through PayPal.

  11. It may be the best faucet, but cointiply is full of goddamn scams. You spend weeks completing offers that involve downloading apps and reaching a certain level, with no payout. Every PTC (paid-to-click) ad you press on is a scam, and god I hope they don’t sucker too many people into their cloudmining or whatever else stitch-ups. You ask if the ptc ads are safe and the replies you get from the moderators are “they are on cointiply so they must be safe”. You ask about your offer payouts that you laboured over for almost a month to complete, and the moderators say, “open a ticket if you didn’t receive your payout and customer service or whatever will look after you.” Ummm, bull, I have spent probably 100 hours completing three offers that should be worth about $30 and I HAVE BEEN PAID FOR NONE OF THEM!

SAVE YOURSELF TIME. TIME IS A MORE FINITE RESOURCE THAN CRYPTO OR GOLD, AND THUS IT’S THE BEST MONEY YOU GOT… BECAUSE ONCE YOU TRADE YOUR TIME FOR SOMETHING, YOU CANNOT TRADE IT BACK.

God bless to you all. Please stay safe. Shame on you cointiply. I know whoever is running the show has good intentions but they should offer better security when it comes to the criminals that they allow to post offers.

According to them, I have cracked reCAPTCHA and if that were the case I could earn more than 20 euros by selling that solution instead of dealing with scam people as Cointiply.

Only way to get real crypto amounts is buy something or gamble the website is a gamble with time for contributers to services they sell

  14. Scam. The mining game was suddenly closed, and they are holding the coins we already earned in a pool until we earned them all over again. Next they will wait until enough people do surveys and leave their coins to get interest, and then they will steal that too and disappear.

    Reply
    • Thanks for sharing your experience. It is always good to be extra careful and aware when it comes to newer sites. However, I do not think it is fair to classify Cointiply as a scam because they have decided to close the mining game.

On the website, there is a long explanation of why they have closed it, and as far as I can tell, they will pay people for what they have earned there. I have not used the mining game much myself so not sure exactly how they do it, but that is the info there is on the website.

There are still many other ways to earn on the site. Get-paid-to sites in general often change the opportunities they offer, so nothing alarming about this in itself in my experience.

About the claim that they will steal people’s coins – do you have any proof or indications of this? Because then I would love to hear about it. But I do not think it can be concluded just because they have decided to close the mining game.

If you have any more details about your experience on Cointiply or evidence, I would however love to hear about it.

      Thanks,
      Mikael

    • That’s not really true apart from the game closing suddenly which was a shock. They openly admitted to mistakes made and how the game became unsustainable, but rather than closing and running like any most site owners would had done, probably reopening under another name, they’ve stood up to their responsibilities. They calculated what everyone would have earnt if the mining game had never existed, E.g. offer wall earnings Etc, then they’ve added a 15% bonus for the inconvenience. This is amount is being paid back to each and every member who invested in the mining game in weekly installments, the estimated time for all payments to be paid back is approx just over 1 year from the time of the closure, so it will probably be early 2020. We’ve all received a good chunk so far. Unfortunately the game had to be closed suddenly because if they’d given any warning there would have been a mass flood of people trying to cash out suddenly and Cointiply wouldn’t have been able to afford to pay all that in one go. If they hadn’t had closed the game at all, then before long Cointiply would have gone bankrupt and no-one would have got paid at all so difficult decisions had to be made. What they did was very brave and honest in my opinion, but a lot has moved on at Cointiply since then.

  15. Dear Mikael,

Thanks a lot for this helpful review and to be honest I recently joined this site as per the recommendation of my friend. However I am not sure whether it’s genuine or scam so your review post means a lot to me.

I use Faucet and PTC ads to earn coins after reading your review I came to know many ways to earn coins thanks again.

Indeed I really like the loyalty bonus and planning to take it to 100% by working daily.

Although I am using it for the few days I don’t know much about Cointiply but after reading your thorough review I got new insights and ways to increase my coins.

    Wishing you much Success!

  16. This is a good review about Cointply which has lot’s of earning opportunity. There are lot’s of paid surveys which may not be available for all country and not possible to complete for everyone. In that case alternative earning sources are good.

From your review, I found that this is legitimate and real earning source. But I want to know about affiliate opportunity here. How much one can earn from affiliation? Thanks for posting this real information.

    • Thanks for the feedback.

You can earn by referring others to Cointiply is that is what you are asking. You will earn 25% of what the people you refer earn on the faucet and 10% of what they earn on tasks and surveys.

So you need to invite quite a lot of people to make any real money like this, but even a little extra is also nice. So this is definitely an option if you know people that would be interested i joining as well.

  17. Mikael, Let me first say that you got and held my attention throughout the entire article. They should definitely pay you for this review which felt like I was reading a “how to manual.” Congratulations on writing a good article, which now has me interested. One thing I would love to ask before going any further, what are bit coins? Okay, I have more questions. What do we use bitcoins for and how?

With those questions out of the way, it was nice to see that I can use this site from possibly Jamaica, where I reside. My experience on paid survey sites is that a lot of them are not available in my country. I will give this one a try. I absolutely love the fact that I use the earned coins to pay for my upgrade and that I can continue on free membership and earn cash.

My final question. Once I have my coins transferred to these wallets, what next? I need to make real cash online, so how does this help me? I said final question….ooops. Yes, I am totally new to your topic, but, now interested. Go ahead and educate me. I am curious and definitely motivated to give it a try.

    Thanks. Good job.

    • Thank you for the nice feedback Josephine. Glad you liked the article.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. Exactly what it is and how it works is a big topic. So would suggest you to check out this article for more info about it.

Bitcoins cannot yet be used exactly as other currencies, so if you need something that is easier to spend there might be other sites that are more relevant for you. You can for example check out the top paying survey sites.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have other questions.

  18. I usually like sites that pay in paypal or amazon gift cards but I use bitcoin for some things so this site caught my attention. Earning in bitcoin seems likely to be more convenient that earning other ways and then converting. Does a coin on this site = a satoshi or is there a different conversion? Also, which of the three withdraw methods do you recommend as the easiest site to use?

    • Hi Marie,

I myself actually also mostly use sites that pay through PayPal. But I am also curious about cryptocurrencies so decided to give Cointiply a go, and it has quite good opportunities from what I have seen so far.

No, a coin does not necessarily equals a satoshi. As the rate for bitcoin fluctuates quite a bit, the exchange rate from a coin to satoshi will follow the current rate.

I honestly do not yet know which of the three withdrawal methods is easiest to use, as I have not used all of them. Personally I think I will stick with withdrawing to Bitcoin wallet, but that is just my personal preferences.

  19. Hi Mikael,

To be honest I have never trusted crypto currencies as they arent properly regulated by the big finance guys and always felt it was scam whose bubble that will pop (like bitcoin did earlier this year)

But after reading your post, it isnt really a scam but just a new method of payment and it really is up to the person putting in the effort to make the money. you really are in charge of how much you make unlike my current sales job (sob)

I agree with you about the premium option – those of those who cant afford to pay are at a disadvantage (no matter how small  it is) compared to those who pay. I think we should all be on the same playing field.

you mentioned that you can skip up to 2 days without the loyalty bonus being affected but if I want to go for a 2 week holiday in the himalayas and get disconnected from the net..what happens then?

    thanks

I am myself also skeptical about crytocurrencies. But decided to give Cointiply a go.

The site itself is quite good and gives good opportunities, but only for people that like getting paid in cryptocurrencies.

If you get disconnected for 2 weeks, your bonus percentage will be reset. You will not lose any of your earnings and it will not affect your account in any other way. You will just not get the same bonus until you build it again.
