Is TimeBucks legit and safe?
Yes, TimeBucks is legit. I have been paid by it many times, so I know it is a real way to earn. But legit does not mean every task is worth it. Here is what you should know before you start.
- Some tasks pay very little
You will, in general, not earn a lot by clicking ads or watching videos. Micro-tasks are created by other members, and not everyone offers fair pay for your time. You see the requirements and the pay before you start, so choose wisely.
- Surveys depend on your country
TimeBucks has surveys for most countries, but in some countries there are not many. Then you have to use the other ways to earn.
- You may have to verify your ID
TimeBucks can ask you to verify your account before it pays. That is very normal for sites like this, as many of them experience fraud and duplicate accounts. Your referrals must also verify their ID before you get a commission.
- Set your payout method
Payouts are automatic, but only after you choose a payment method in your profile settings. If a payment does not arrive, check that setting first. Then contact support.
- Never use a VPN
Using a VPN to fake your country goes against the terms and is seen as fraud. You will not get your account back.
My takeIn general, I really like TimeBucks. It offers some interesting and different opportunities, also for countries where it is usually difficult to get many opportunities on survey sites. Some of these give quite low rewards. But many of them are things we spend time doing online anyway, and then it can be great to get paid a bit to do them.

Paid surveysOne of the best ways
You take surveys through several providers and get paid into your TimeBucks account. In the image, the reward for a survey through Your Survey is $0.875. That is one of the highest rewards you can find for these surveys.
You can find a lot of surveys in most countries. It can take some patience to find the ones you qualify for.
OfferwallsAround 12 walls
You get paid to download apps, sign up for a website, test a product for free and more. Some offers have really good rewards. Most are also on sites like PrizeRebel or ySense.
Paid clicksVery small
You click a link and view it for a few seconds. With Push Clicks, you can click every 2 hours and get 0.5% of what you earned yesterday for each click. If you earned nothing yesterday, a click pays $0.002. A completed survey or offer lets you skip the wait, up to 24 times per day.
Micro-tasksChoose wisely
In the Tasks section you download apps, watch YouTube videos, visit websites or follow people on social media. Other members create these tasks. TimeBucks is one of the best micro-task platforms, in my opinion, as it has more tasks and better conditions than most similar platforms.
Referral program10% commission
You get a 10% commission on the earnings of anyone who joins through your invitation link. TimeBucks pays it. You only get the commission if your referral has verified their ID.

You can pay to promote, for example, a YouTube video to other members. Personally, it is not a way I use to promote my videos, as it can also have some risks.
Daily ladder contestTop 100 earners
Every day, the top 100 earners get extra cash. The first prize changes. Places 51 to 100 get $1.
Hourly CrownLuck and timing
You try to claim a bonus exactly when an hourly timer runs out. You can click once every five minutes, and you need at least $0.10 earned that week. Personally, I would not actively seek it out, because it is not worth it, in my opinion.
Daily streakSeconds a day
Click “Check In” once a day. The longer your streak, the higher the bonus. For me, the maximum is $15.01 on day 90. I have heard it is significantly lower in some countries.
Watching videosVery small
You find videos in some offerwalls and in the micro-tasks. You will not earn a lot per video, so do not prioritize it.

How much can you make?
It depends on how much time you spend, which opportunities you use, and where in the world you live. Some countries have more surveys and offers than others.
Because there are so many ways to earn, and many do not depend on your location, everyone can make some extra cash. No matter where you live, you can also invite others to join.
But as with any other survey and GPT site, you should not expect to make a living from it. If you expect to become rich, you will be disappointed.

In my opinion, the automatic system is much simpler than the old manual one. You can just focus on earning. Some methods are not available in all countries, so check which ones you have. TimeBucks has changed its payout options many times.

Hello Mr Mikael I also have got an enquiry concerning the surveys, I’ve tried several of the but unfortunately I can’t qualify for it because am told that the surveys are offered according to the age, so can you please give me the exact age range number required for one to qualify for the surveys.

It’s all region based, if one stays in a 3rd tier country which is where most people come from on Timebucks, you won’t qualify for hardly any surveys but if you live the the US, UK and most of Europe, you will qualify for almost any survey. They want feedback from consumers who spend more money, not people from poor countries cause they not the main consumers.

As I explain in the review above, it is available in more or less all countries, so it should also be available there.
After reviewing, I find it to be cheap and stingy it should be 5 to 10 cents per click/ ad/ video but the amount they pay out for each one is ridiculous and pathetic. Even a Ferengi would laugh at the kind of profit they are offering. Complete waste of time for ones efforts to earn some extra cash and the pathetic amounts they pay for per click ads and vids it would take one forever and a day to even reach payout. Would not recommend or refer it to anyone unless they improve.
You will, in general, not earn a lot by clicking ads. And Timebucks actually pays more per click than most other sites that pay you to click ads. If you want to earn decent money online, you will not find any ways to do that just by clicking ads.

I joined Timebucks on April 6th through you after reading your review of the site.
I got my first payment on August 18th with Virtual visa card. I didn’t spend much time on the platform when I first joined though, but I’ve been using it more since my first payment, and I’ve already reached the $10 dollar threshold as of today.
I couldn’t get paid in cash or Bitcoin , because Airtm and Coinbase don’t accept teens on their platform, that’s the only itch I’m having, but overall the site is definitely worth checking out.

Recommend mobile browser to use in logging in coz i find it challenging to use my default opera mini
I am just using the standard browser on my Samsung and it works fine. If you have issues, I would suggest you contact their support.
Timebucks does not support opera mini browser, they claim it has a built in VPN.
So, I advice to use another browser.

Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN and they will block you and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.
Yes, it’s legit , my only concern you earn less. Most of the ads expired before you reach to the next ads. So whats the use, you can earn as little as .05 per day with this type of service. I think they should revisit their timing issue. I have raised an issue to this, but no luck they only say traffic congestion for bothsides.
You can definitely earn a lot more per day. But as I explain in the review above, a lot of it depends on the earning methods you use and the country you live in. Clicking ads is, in general, not an effective way to earn.

At first, there were 3 or 4 surveys a day, but 3 of the 4 surveys were disqualifying me, they weren’t paying any fees, and they were never coming for 5 days, especially your surveys surveys. It never comes, when it comes, it definitely kicks me out of the survey. It doesn’t pay. Can I find out why I spend a lot of time but not getting any response makes me very sad I wonder is there a problem with my profile information, my age, my profession, where I live?

In most cases, the number of surveys you will get will depend a lot on the country you live in. And in Turkey, there will not be that many surveys so you need to also use some of the other earning methods.
And it is a good idea to also join several survey sites to get access to more surveys. You can see a list of the best survey sites in Turkey here.

Timebucks transfers to your bank via Wise so in any country where you can get Wise (which is A LOT of countries) you can transfer directly into your bank account.
you forgot to say it requires facebook account, i try to sign-up and it always directs me to facebook. Not everyone is a fan of facebook it is not worth going back to making a facebook account for $20 a week.
That is NOT correct. When you sign up, you have the choice to sign up with your Facebook account OR manually create an account with your own password using your email address.

As for using different emails for each survey site then I would not recommend that as that will make it very difficult for you to keep a track of things. And as long as you join the legit sites, there is not really anything to worry about.

Personally, I prefer getting paid in Bitcoin from the sites that offer this. But if you are looking for cash, then that is not the best option. If Skrill is an option in your country, then it also works fine. Payoneer could also be an option. Or you can choose to get paid in gift cards which can be as god as cash.

It seems to me now after reading you reviews about Raffle section. I see that Raffle section is not available perhaps been removed by TimeBucks. Instead Sweeptakes have been introduced and there is a link to download the Sweeptakes and earn 100 free entries upon login in every day.

It is an official software from Timebucks which is a legit company so it is a safe program. But I have not used it myself as I prefer using other earning methods. But if you have a fast computer, then it definitely can be an easy way to increase your chances of winning their sweepstakes.

yes, you can get cash through AirTM. But I have not used it myself. I am using Transferwise which transfers directly into my bank account.

Sorry to hear that. But I have been paid many times by Timebucks myself so I know it is not a fraud company. But they have strict security so there can be reasons your account was banned. Did you use VPN or anything like that? Or have you rushed through a lot of tasks so they did not get approved?
It might also be a mistake and then their support will be able to fix it. Just be aware that the support usually takes around a week to answer so you have to be a bit patient to get a reply.

If you have technical problems or problems with delays, you need to contact their support. Personally, I have been paid by Timebucks many times and never had problems.

In Nigeria, you will not find many available surveys. There is nothing you can do about this. That is why Timebucks is great as it offers so many other ways to earn. So if you cannot find surveys you have to stick to the many other ways to earn.

In some countries there just are fewer available surveys. That is why it is good to join several sites. On Timebucks there are also a lot of different ways to earn so you will definitely find a lot of options that are available in Dubai if you click around.

There is not as such a fee to pay out to Skrill. But if you have your account in another currency there might be an exchange fee and difference in rate.
To get them into your bank account, you need to connect your bank account with Skrill inside your Skrill account. And then it is easy to transfer from there.

I agree it is a shame they no longer offer PayPal. But luckily they offer several other great payout methods so you should not let that stop you from getting your earnings. Personally, I use Skrill now – it works more or less the exact same way as PayPal and you can also get a free account there. So that is definitely one great method. But the other payout methods can also be great depending on your preferences.

Could we do payout without verify our ID? I’ve already reached over $5 for the first time then suddenly they email me, asked me to verify my ID. On my TimeBucks page, they asked me to verify my ID in order to do payout. The problem is, they wanting my goverment ID which is too much.
If I can payout without verify my ID, I’ll continue using this site. But if I can’t, I’ll pass.
If they ask you for ID, I do not think you can get a payout without. However, it is very normal for sites to ask you to verify your account as, unfortunately, many sites like this experience a lot of fraud so they need to check people once in a while.
Personally, I think it has been worth it to verify my account to Timebucks and have now been paid by them many times. It is good to be careful and there are some sites I would not give this info to. But I do also understand they have to do their best to avoid fraud.
If you really do not feel comfortable with it, I would suggest you write to their support and ask for a differnt way of verifying your identity.

First of all, TimeBucks didn’t mention about if anywhere, not in terms of service, faq, and privacy policy. Only when my balance became $5. This is not according to the agreement. You are not honest. Liar.
Second, this rule does not apply to all members. I know a person who doesn’t give a photo of himself but he is allowed to withdraw several times. This is unfair.

I’ve been using timebucks for about a month or so – something I pick up now and then – what I like about it is it pays (albeit a small amount) if you get screened out. Other sites don’t pay you for your time like that – I’ve been using several survey sites and this is the best one.

Sorry to hear about your experience. This is definitely not something that usually happens in my experience, and Timebucks is a site that pays. I have however noticed that it has had some problems with the accounts sometimes suddenly showing less, but because of an error in the system, and then it is quickly corrected again. If you still only have $3 on your account, I would advise you to contact the Timebucks support directly and make them aware – maybe there has been a mistake in the system.
And feel free to keep me updated here on how it goes – would be great to know if you get it fixed and get the money back into your account.

No, you do not have to have referrals to get paid on Timebucks. It is just one of the ways you can earn. You just choose the methods/tasks you like the most and do them, and then you will get paid for those.

Timebucks also offers to pay out in Bitcoin. Also, I have heard they are working on getting PayPal to work again, so hopefully this will work correctly again soon.

If you can make that on Timebucks depends a lot on the country you live in? To make $5-$10 per day there, you need to live in a country where Timebucks offer a decent amount of surveys available. If you do that, it is definitely possible to make that per day. And if you then combine it with other survey sites as well, you can easily reach that amount. If you live in a country where Timebucks do not offer many surveys or paid offers, it will be difficult to reach that amount.

There is a certain number of tickets available for each draw. Once that number has been reached, the draw will happen immediately, and the winner will receive an email. How many tickets that are available depends on the prize. There are less tickets that needs to be reached for the smallest prize to be drawn, and the chances of winning here is then bigger. When you go to the raffle section, you can see how many tickets are left before the next draw.
Be aware that you can get free raffle tickets in the mining section.

Recently, TimeBucks removed PayPal from their website and they accuse PayPal of putting a ban on TimeBucks.
Thanks for the update Elaine. I just saw the announcement about this on their website this morning. They have had a problem with PayPal before but at that time they worked it out – hope they will work it out again so they can keep offering PayPal.
But other than that, they are also saying they are going to introduce some other payout methods like, for example, Skrill that works more or less the same so no matter what, it will be possible to keep getting our earnings out easily.
Great review on TimeBucks, I think it’s great that there are programs like this which can help people earn some extra money. I also think it’s great that you can earn money from doing a number of different things. However, I dislike this program because you can’t earn enough money to make a living, so I don’t think this program would be suitable for me.

But for people that are looking to make some extra money on the side it can in my opinion be a great way. And also the only way to make a bit of money online without any investment or training at all.
