I have been a Rewards1 member for several years and have been paid by it several times. Below is my payment proof, which earning methods are worth your time, how the instant payouts and custom rewards work, and the drawbacks you should know about.
Legit GPT site with instant payouts, once you learn your way around
Many ways to earn, open in every country, and standard rewards pay out immediately. Confusing at first, and support is unstable.

The short answer
Rewards1 is legit. I have been a member for several years and have been paid by it several times. It has been around since 2007, you can join from any country, and standard rewards are paid out immediately when you redeem.
But it can be a bit confusing to use at first, and sometimes it takes patience to find surveys you qualify for. Support is a bit unstable, and Rewards1 cut its referral commission from 40% to 20% without telling its members. Crypto payouts are currently not available.

My experience with Rewards1
A visitor asked me to review Rewards1, so I joined to test it. I ended up liking it and have been an active member for several years. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Rewards1 legit and safe?
Yes, Rewards1 is legit. I have been paid by it several times. But that does not necessarily mean it is the best use of your time. Here is what you should know before you start.
- Changes without notice
Rewards1 used to pay a 40% referral commission. It is now 20%, and Rewards1 made this change without making its current members aware. That makes me worry about what other important things it might change without letting members know.
- Support is a bit unstable
I have submitted support tickets several times. Sometimes I got a reply very quickly, other times it was very slow or there was no reply at all.
- The games are betting
To have a chance of winning anything in the games, you have to bet some of your earnings. It is not a way to earn money unless you are lucky or good at the games.
- Read the conditions of every offer
Some offers have great conditions and high rewards, others are not so great. Know what an offer requires before you start it.
- No hacks, no VPN
There is no Rewards1 hack that earns money on autopilot. If you try to cheat, for example with a VPN, you will very likely get your account banned and lose your earnings.
My takeRewards1 is definitely a legit way to earn some extra cash online. It will not make you rich, but it has decent earning opportunities compared to similar sites. At first, it can be a bit difficult to navigate, but if you take the time to get to know it, it offers several ways to earn and some really great payout methods. It especially pays to stay consistent and reach a higher membership level.
How you earn on Rewards1
There are 9 ways to earn, plus a member chat and forum for help. Surveys and offerwalls pay the most. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMost opportunities
Paid surveys are the earning method with the most opportunities. Rewards1 gives you access to several survey routers, which are legit and used on many other GPT sites. A router often scans for a new survey if you do not qualify for the first one.
You often find a good amount of surveys, but at times it takes patience to find the ones you qualify for. The rewards for your time are more or less the same as on top-paying sites like Swagbucks and PrizeRebel.
Paid offerwallsCan boost earnings
Offers from partners: sign up for free trials, download games, enter contests and more. You often find more surveys here too. Rewards1 does not have quite as many offerwalls as ySense, but it has a very good amount.
Take the time to find the good offers, and always read the conditions before you start one.
Watching videosVery low
Go to the “earn” tab in the main menu and click “offers”. Videos take little effort, but the rewards are very low, as on all GPT sites. Watch them if they entertain you; there are more effective ways to earn.
Daily poll1 point
A very short question every day. You get 1 point ($0.01), and you see how other people answered. Not a way to make big money, but it only takes a few seconds.
Daily questSmall bonuses
You get an extra reward for reaching a certain amount of earnings in a single day. The quest has several stages with higher bonuses. The bonuses are small, but a nice extra motivation if you are active anyway.
GamesA bet
Some games can be played for free, or you can bet an amount. To have a chance of winning anything, you have to bet some of your earnings. Only for people who like betting.
Referral program20% commission
You earn a commission every time a friend you invited earns. It is not taken from your friend; Rewards1 pays it. The commission used to be 40% and is now 20%. Rewards1 made this change without telling its members.
Weekly contests2–10% bonus
As an active member, you automatically take part. There is a leaderboard for the top earners in the USA and one for the top earners internationally. The top 20 on each board get 2% to 10% of their weekly earnings as a bonus.
Promo codesSmall
Rewards1 posts promo codes on its Facebook and Twitter pages. Enter them on the website when you are logged in. The rewards are small and the codes are not posted very often, but it is very easy.

Rewards1 membership levels
Rewards1 has 7 free membership levels, and each level has its own benefits. To move up, you need either a certain amount of earnings or a certain number of referrals (not both), plus a certain number of requested rewards.
I have reached the highest level, Prime. The benefit I love the most is the lowest possible payout thresholds. Some crypto rewards could be redeemed from $0.50 at higher levels, but crypto is currently not available.
The levels are a great way to stay motivated, and it is nice that Rewards1 rewards active long-term members.
How much can you make?
It depends a lot on the effort you put in and on your country. It is definitely a way to earn some nice extra cash on the side.
GPT sites like Rewards1 are not meant to give you a full-time income or make you rich. You have to do the work yourself. Tools and hacks that promise money on autopilot do not work and get your account banned.
Payout methods, minimums and speed
| Reward | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | Mostly $5 | Immediately |
| Amazon and other gift cards | Mostly $5 | Immediately |
| Game codes | 125 points ($1.25) | Immediately |
| Custom reward: anything from an online vendor | Depends on the item | Processed by hand, takes a few days |
| Crypto | From $0.50 at higher levels | Currently not available |
You earn points: 1 point is $0.01, so it is easy to calculate. Lower thresholds open up as you reach higher membership levels.
The custom reward is something I have never seen on any other platform. If you do not see a reward you want, tell Rewards1, and it gets the item for your points if an online vendor sells it. I have used it a couple of times.
Rewards1 used to pay in crypto, but that option was removed. Rewards1 told me it is looking for a new processor, but it is still unknown if crypto will come back.
Is Rewards1 worth it in your country?
Anyone can join Rewards1, no matter where you live. The number of surveys and offers depends on your country. Pick your country to see where Rewards1 stands on my list of the best sites there.
What 38 readers told me
This review has 38 comments since 2019: 19 from readers and 19 replies from me. These are the four things readers write about most.
Readers ask how fast payouts and custom rewards arrive. Standard rewards pay out immediately; custom rewards take a few days.
Readers report a blocked cashout, missing survey points and negative reviews. Accounts that use a VPN or cheat get blocked.
Readers who like the surveys, the daily quest bonus, custom orders and the payouts.
A reader saw 20% instead of 40%. Rewards1 changed it without notice, and this review now says so.
“But how long did it take for you … to receive for the first time”
Mikael: I do not remember exactly how long it took the very first time I cashed out. I just know that for Rewards1 I now get paid immediately whenever I cash out via PayPal. Custom rewards take a few days.
“There are many negative reviews on rewards1 website as, it is scam and doesn’t pay banned accounts without any cheating”
Mikael: Many people try to cheat by, for example, using VPN and then they will, of course, get blocked … This is not to say Rewards1 is perfect – there definitely are some things that can be improved. But more to say what I know based on my experience. And I have been paid many times by rewards.
“when i opened a account with rewards1 they are showing only 20% referral commission.”
Mikael: It used to be 40% but just checked and seems they have silently changed this to only 20% without letting their current members know.

If you have any comments, questions, or experiences with Rewards1, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.
Can I use my vpn with the surveys?
Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud, and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this, and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN, and they will block you, and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.
Helo am from Tanzania, East Africa. Can i be able to withdraw from rewards1?
You know most paid surveys don’t support withdraw for countries like mine!
I explain the payout options Rewwads1 offers in the review above. If you find tasks you can do there to earn, you can also withdraw.
Hi, mikael just wanted to know rewards1 actual referral commission, because on other sites on google they say the offer 30% – 40% referral commission but when i opened a account with rewards1 they are showing only 20% referral commission.
It used to be 40% but just checked and seems they have silently changed this to only 20% without letting their current members know. A bit sneaky if you ask me. I will update the review with this new info asap.
Thanks for making me aware.
So is that mean that they are unreliable, i mean should i continue working with them or not .
and one more thing the mail that you send me for informing that you have replied , actually it has been marked by gmail as dangerous. Be careful with this message
Gmail could not verify that it actually came from paidfromsurveys.com. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments or replying with personal information.

just wanted to let you know so you can improve on that and thank you for replying.
Well, I would not as such say it is unreliable as I have been paid by it many times. But changing the commission this much with notice is definitely not ok and something that makes me trust them less. Also, there are in general just a lot better GPT sites.
I find them reliable. As for the changes the payouts are a lot higher now also with the new v5 released last summer I think.
Custom orders take me 1-2 days to get processed.
I still would recommend this site as the payout is great!
Customer service there’s a live chat and the owner and other staff members help out often. They also have a chat mod who relays your issues to a staff if they are not online.
Thanks for your post I found it very informative.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
TYSM once again!!! But I have another question. Is the “fast support” you’ve noticed from them also applicable in their granting of the custom reward you wished for?
I already replied to this in a previous comment from you.
Is the speed of their payout applicable to and/or the same in all payout methods (including the custom reward)? And will the first time they process my payout be longer than the next ones, and if yes, how longer will it be? Thanks!!!
The custom reward takes longer.
Thanks once again! But I have another query— is the “fast support” you have noticed from them also applicable in their granting of the custom reward you requested for?
Not always – sometimes it can take a couple of days, in my experience.
Thanks for the responce but sorry for the comment duplication. But how long did it take for you (yes, you) to receive for the first time here in Reqards1? (And I hope your experience that I am asking for you to share us which is in the past just be the same for those who are also currently requesting payouts in this site since I am aware that what you can only offer us is your past experience). Thank you very much!
As I have explained several times in several responses, I have used these sites for years in most cases. I do not remember exactly how long it took the very first time I cashed out. I just know that for Rewards1 I now get paid immediately whenever I cash out via PayPal. Custom rewards take a few days.
Hmm how about the non-custom reward available from them? How long does the first wait take? I really thank you for these good info, Sir, especially no one of us is exempted from being economically defected by this pandemic (more especially here in the Philippines where I live which is one of the slowest countries in the race to the end of this). By the way, could you please honestly tell me who can see my email and could I edit the name I shared in my previous comments here in your site?
I replied to your question about how long it takes already.
No one can publicly see your email here in the comment section.
Can you make 300 a month on Reward 1?
That depends on the country you live in.
How can I withdraw in Bitcoin?
I am from USA.
Thank you in advance .
you need to use their custom reward option for this.
I started to take a daily survey and received a message: “There are no matching offers.
It looks like this study did not suit you. Keep searching, more offers are waiting for your attention! “
When taking surveys, they will regularly be surveys you do not qualify for. That is a part of taking surveys. Sometimes it can take some patience to find the ones you qualify for, and other times there will be plenty of surveys.
Hello Mikael,
There are many negative reviews on rewards1 website as, it is scam and doesn’t pay banned accounts without any cheating
There are many people that complain when they get blocked because they are upset they got caught cheating. Many people try to cheat by, for example, using VPN and then they will, of course, get blocked, and then they are upset and say they did not do anything wrong.
This is not to say Rewards1 is perfect – there definitely are some things that can be improved. But more to say what I know based on my experience. And I have been paid many times by rewards. Actually, just recently I made a video that shows alive how I cash out $50. You can check it out here: https://youtu.be/HGLCvKGpjKM
in how many days u completed 50000 points ( I see your points balance in video )
I have not counted the exact days, but probably 3-5 months.
I joined this site and had enough points to cash out on a $10 gift card. On 5/27/20 they sent me an email, which in part said the following. <>
I have sent them 2 emails asking them to identify what they meant as “high risk” and have not received a response on the site or an email. I haven’t been on any high risk sites, so I have no idea what they are referring to. In any instance, I am not recommending this site if anyone has a question about it.
Thanks for sharing your experience Joel. But a part of your message seems to be missing? I cannot see what the message you got from them said.
Wow what a great review! I love this site thank you for the post!
Thank you. Glad you like it.
Thanks for this review! The site is great so far easy to get points from the surveys.
Also the daily quests bonus get higher each level and is quite a lot!
Custom orders definitely great I have custom ordered bitcoin among other thing from actual stores.
Hope more people find out about this site.
That is great to hear Lisa. The custom orders are definitely great and unique. It is something I have not seen on other sites.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I joined this site and Completed a Survey but they didn’t have my points
They have a very fast support so I would suggest you write to them about this. You can do that once you are logged in from the help center.
