You can cash out to PayPal from just 1,000 points ($1). But it can be a bit confusing when you first join, and it does not have that many paid offers. Join several sites to increase your overall earning potential.

Is Lootup legit and safe?
Yes, Lootup is legit. I have been paid by it myself. But legit does not mean problem-free. Here is what you should know before you start.
- Offers that are not credited
If you miss even one step or requirement of an offer, you do not get the reward. Read all the details before you start. In 2025, a reader wrote that a completed free-trial offer was not credited, even after sending proof.
- Video rewards depend on ads
You are paid for the ads in the videos, not the videos. If no advertisers run campaigns in your country, you do not earn. Keep the video in the active tab, or it will not play.
- Support can be slow for some
Support was fast at getting back to me. Some readers report login issues, a blocked cashout, or waiting days for a reply. If something goes wrong, contact support through a ticket.
- Contests are not guaranteed
The contests can really boost your earnings, but only if you end up among the top earners. Do not count on them.
My takeLootup is a quite good GPT site. It has improved a lot since I first tested it, and it offers some great opportunities now. It can be a good way to earn some extra money for free, but make sure to also check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country and join several sites to increase your overall earning potential.
How you earn on Lootup
There are 7 ways to earn. Surveys give the most opportunities. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMost opportunities
Lootup has partnered with many survey providers. Go to the earn section and choose paid surveys. How many surveys you get depends on your country. You qualify first, then take the survey and get the points.
You can sort the surveys by reward, popularity, how easy they are to complete, and more. Scroll down below the overview for links to many survey providers, with even more surveys.
The rewards per survey are quite good compared to many other survey sites. Do not only go for the highest-paying surveys: they are often harder to qualify for.
Paid offersSome high rewards
Short tasks like answering a survey, signing up for a website or downloading an app. Find them through the offerwalls or the paid offers overview in the menu.
Click an offer to see its details, and make sure you understand every requirement. Some offers have high rewards, but there are not as many as on some other GPT sites.
Watching videosLeast efficient
Pick a video provider, such as HideoutTV, and let the videos play. You are paid for the ads before, during or after the video, so you can let it run in the active tab and do something else. The app makes this easier.
You will not earn a lot of points this way. Only do it if you have nothing else to do.
Weekly and monthly contestsTop 50 often win
There are contests for the top earners from paid offers, from referrals and from paid surveys. The exact rewards depend on the contest, and they are very high compared to most other GPT sites I have tested.
You do not have to be number 1. In most contests, you just have to be in the top 50 to get a reward.
Loot ChestsDaily bonus
You can open a free Daily Loot Chest once a day. The higher your Rewards Tier, the more points you can win, and you reach a higher tier just by being active.
You also get an Offer Loot Chest after every qualified task, such as a survey, offer or video. It holds points or a boost for your next eligible task.
Lootup Deal FinderCashback
A Chrome extension that gives you cashback or discounts when you shop online, at over 50,000 brands. The cashback is added to your Lootup account as points.
Referral program10%, up to 15%
You earn 10% of what your active referrals earn, paid by Lootup, not deducted from your referral. If a referral completes a survey worth 500 points, you get 50 points. With 500 referrals, your commission goes up to 15%.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how much time you spend on it and the country you live in. If you spend your time wisely, you can earn some nice extra money on the side, and the top earners of the month win a nice bonus.
You also get free points through LevelUP Rewards as you cross earnings thresholds, and the more you level up, the larger the rewards get. Lootup posts promo codes for free points on social media. And you get the $5 joining bonus if you reach 10,000 points within 29 days.
Overall, Lootup has a quite good earning potential compared to many other GPT sites, because it offers so many different ways to earn.
Payout methods and minimums
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| PayPal | 1,000 points ($1) |
| Gift cards | From 1,000 points ($1), depending on the card |
| Crypto through BitPay: Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Litecoin | 5,100 points, converted into $5 worth of crypto |
For crypto, you need a BitPay account. The gift cards you can redeem depend on where you live. If you want more sites with a low payout threshold, see the fastest paying sites.
Is Lootup worth it in your country?
Lootup is available more or less worldwide, but how many surveys you get depends on your country. Pick your country to see where Lootup stands on my list of the best sites there.

Is it available in Denmark?
Yes, it is. But I have a list of better sites in Denmark here.
I don’t earn very much video game money. I only get $55.00 a month. With knowing that this website is legit I can trust that when I get the points I won’t be asked for the stupid (Human verification) popup. I would recommend this website for anyone who can use it!
Thanks for sharing your experience.

You need to contact their support about this.
That is the best way to do it. I would do that too.
