Is TaskVerse a Scam or Legit? (Full Review + Rating)

TaskVerse Rating

TaskVerse can be worth considering mainly because it pays quite well. The amount you can earn per task is actually quite good. The only problem is that there aren’t always that many tasks available, and there has been quite a few complaints from epople not getting their work approved.

I tested TaskVerse to see if its tasks are worth your time. The pay per task is good, but there are few tasks, and several people report work that was not approved or paid. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.

The short answer

TaskVerse pays you to complete tasks, usually for improving AI. The pay per task is quite good: around $10 to $50, paid weekly to PayPal, with no payout threshold.

But there aren’t always tasks available, and there are several complaints from people who did not get their work approved and did not get paid. I have not seen TaskVerse’s support respond to them, which is not a great sign.

What I like

Is TaskVerse legit and safe?

TaskVerse pays for tasks that it approves. Several people report work that was not approved or paid. Here is what you should know.

  • Work that is not approved or paid

There are quite a few complaints online from people who did not get their work approved and therefore did not get paid. A reader told me in 2025 that they were never paid for narration work, and that many others report the same.

  • Support does not respond to complaints

I have not seen TaskVerse’s support respond to any of the complaints. Every company gets complaints, but it is important that support then responds to show its side.

  • Few tasks

There won’t always be tasks available, so you can’t earn every day. It depends a lot on the country you live in.

  • One account, one PayPal

You are only allowed one account. Linking one PayPal to several accounts, or using someone else’s PayPal, can get you banned. Ask support first.

  • Some tasks need personal recordings

Some tasks ask you to record videos of yourself or your voice. Read the instructions before you agree to a task.

My takeTaskVerse can be worth considering mainly because it pays quite well per task. The only problem is that there aren’t always that many tasks available, so it’s not something you can necessarily earn from on a regular basis. There are also several complaints you should keep in mind.

How you earn on TaskVerse

There are 2 ways to earn. Tasks are the main one. Tap one to read more.

TasksAround $10–$50
TaskVerse tasks

When you log in, you see all the tasks available for you. There won’t always be tasks, so if you see one, work on it as soon as possible.

The tasks are not the surveys, games and offers you find on other GPT sites. They are usually used to improve AI. For example, I was offered a task where I had to make six short videos of myself making different facial expressions and upload them.

Every task has instructions you can read when you click it. When you are ready, click “Agree and launch task”. After you submit, TaskVerse checks your work. It usually takes no more than a couple of days for a submission to be approved or denied. You see the status in the Launchpad section.

Task-based referralsVaries by task

Some tasks let you invite other people to do them. You share your invite link, and when someone signs up through it, they become your referral.

You only get the referral reward when your referral completes the task they were invited to. The reward depends on the task.

How much can you make?

When I was testing TaskVerse, I was pleasantly surprised by how much you can earn per task: around $10 to $50. The higher-paying tasks are more complicated and take more effort. Not a lot of GPT or data entry sites pay this much per task.

But there aren’t many tasks available, so while the pay is good, you can’t expect to earn every day. And you only get paid for work that TaskVerse approves.

Payout method, minimum and speed

MethodMinimumSpeed
PayPalNoneProcessed weekly on Thursdays (US time). It takes 5 to 10 days to show up in PayPal.

Payments are automatic. As long as you have earned something from an approved task before the payment is processed, you receive it. PayPal is the only method, so if you do not have PayPal, choose another platform.

  1. Hi Mikael, I had a bad experience with Taskverse where I completed an hour’s narration work for Meta for $35USD and was never paid. Check out the Trustpilot reviews for this company because many of us didn’t get paid for the same task. To me, they are a dodgy company for sure and I have deleted my account with them. Out of all the online side hustles I have completed in the last few years, this is the only company that hasn’t paid me!

  2. Hi Mikael, is it possible to unlink a PayPal address from one taskverse account and input it into another taskverse account to receive payment? Please would this work too?

    • I do not know. But since you are only allowed to have one account, you might get banned for it, if it is because you have created several accounts.

    • It depends on the task, but for most tasks where you need a microphone it does not need to be an expensive one – in most cases you can just use any miccrophone you have, for example, from a headset you are using for your phone.
