I tested the Tap Coin app to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, but the rewards are very low, there are few tasks, and the ads are misleading. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.
Legit, but not worth your time: very low rewards and spammy ads
An Android GPT app for the Philippines. Few tasks, around 100 coins each, and $1 takes 40,000 coins.

The short answer
Tap Coin is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that rewards you for playing games and completing tasks. It is legit, because you earn rewards from what it offers.
But I would not recommend you download Tap Coin. The rewards are very low and there are few tasks, so you have to complete a lot of tasks just to earn $1. The app is also very spammy, with misleading ads.
- Offers direct bank transfer as a payout option
- Also pays to GCash, PayMaya and USDT through Binance
- Easy sign-up with Google or Facebook
- Limited earning opportunities
- Very low rewards
- Very spammy, with misleading ads
- No FAQ or Help section
- Android only, and only for the Philippines as far as I can see

Is Tap Coin legit and safe?
Tap Coin is legit, because you earn rewards from the opportunities it offers. But it is not worth your time, and the ads need care. Here is what you should know.
- Misleading ads
The app shows ads that make it look like you have won something. When you click, you land on a page that asks you to download something, most of the time APK files that install another app. Always ignore what the ads show you.
- Very low rewards
Most tasks paid around 100 coins when I tested, and $1 takes at least 40,000 coins. You have to complete a lot of tasks just to earn $1.
- Game tasks track your data usage
For game tasks, you install the game and allow Tap Coin to track your data usage. That is how GPT apps check that you play. Miss one task requirement, and you do not get the reward.
- Hard to know what a coin is worth
The coins you need depend on the reward, and cash uses a slightly different rate. The app also does not say how many coins the referral bonus pays.
- Little support
There is no website, FAQ or Help section. The only way to ask a question is the support form in the app.
My takeIn case it is not quite clear, I would not recommend you download Tap Coin. You will only be wasting your time with this app. The main reason is that it offers very low rewards and limited earning opportunities for a GPT app. You are better off investing your time in sites and apps that pay better and offer more opportunities to earn, in my opinion.
How you earn on Tap Coin
There are 2 ways to earn. Tasks are the main one. Tap one to read more.
TasksAround 100 coins each
When you log in to the app, you see all available tasks. Most ask you to sign up for a free trial, play a mobile game or try another app. Press a task to see its requirements. If you miss one, you do not get the reward.
When I tested the app, most tasks asked you to play a different mobile game, usually for at least a minute. You install the game and allow Tap Coin to track your data usage.
Compared to other GPT apps, there are not a lot of tasks, which surprised me.
Referral program20% commission
Share your referral code. Your friend must enter it after logging in to the app, or they do not become your referral.
Once your referral completes the newbie tasks, you get a coin bonus. The app does not say how many coins. You also earn a 20% commission every time your referral earns, 5 levels deep. But Tap Coin is not an app I would recommend to my friends. For better options, see the best reward apps that pay.

How much can you make?
You will not earn a lot from Tap Coin. When I tested the app, most tasks only paid around 100 coins, which is a very small amount, in my opinion. You have to complete a lot of tasks just to earn $1, which is a bad way to spend your time.
Tap Coin also does not offer a lot of opportunities compared to more popular GPT sites and apps. That is why its earning potential is very low.
Payout methods and minimum
| Method | Notes |
|---|---|
| Direct bank transfer | Coins converted to cash |
| GCash and PayMaya | Coins converted to cash |
| USDT through Binance | Coins converted to crypto |
| Gift cards and game currency | Various options |
The smallest amount you can redeem is around $1, which takes at least 40,000 coins. The coins you need depend on the reward, and cash uses a slightly different rate, so it is hard to pinpoint what a coin is worth.
The payout system is relatively straightforward, and I like that it offers direct bank transfer. For more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.
Joining, devices and support
Install the app, open it and log in with your Google or Facebook account. Then you can start earning. Tap Coin is mobile only, and only for Android. On an iPhone, see the best money-making apps for iOS instead.
The app does not say which countries it covers, but from what I can see, it is only for people in the Philippines. For more options there, see the best survey sites for the Philippines.
There is no website or FAQ. To contact support, go to your account settings in the app, click the support icon and fill out the form.
