I applied as a user tester on Loop11 and did a test to see if it is worth your time. It is legit and the tests are quick, but there are few of them. Below is what I found, and which user testing sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but too few tests to earn much
Short usability tests for around $3 to $5 each, by email invite. No payout threshold.

The short answer
Loop11 is a legit user testing site. You really get paid to complete user testing projects, and most tests are quick and easy.
But there are not a lot of projects. You can consider yourself lucky if you get invited more than twice a month, so you will not earn a lot from it. It also takes a mock test and up to 48 hours before you can start.
- No payout threshold
- The user testing projects don’t take long to finish
- Available more or less worldwide, from what I can see
- Limited earning opportunities
- The site doesn’t give a lot of information to user testers
- The registration process takes a bit of time to complete
- App users report that the mobile app is glitchy
My experience with Loop11
I applied as a tester, did the mock test and a testing project. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

- The mobile app. What I say about it comes from its app store reviews.

Is Loop11 legit and safe?
Yes, Loop11 is legit, because you really get paid to complete user testing projects. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Few projects
There are not a lot of projects. That is what I noticed during my testing. It is not something you can regularly earn from.
- Little information for testers
Most of the website is for clients who want to run tests. There is no FAQ or Help section for testers, and Loop11 is not clear on how it pays.
- The mobile app is glitchy
Most reviews on the app page say the app is glitchy and does not always work, so you may not be able to do the test. Tread with caution if you use the app.
- Your screen and voice are recorded
The extension records your screen while you test, and most projects need a microphone, sometimes a webcam.
My takeIn my opinion, Loop11 is not a bad user-testing website. However, it’s not that great, either. It doesn’t offer a lot of opportunities to earn, so you won’t earn a lot from it. Plus, it will take some time before you can start earning, so if you are looking to earn immediately, then this site is not for you.
How you earn on Loop11
There is 1 way to earn: user testing projects. Tap it to read more.
User testing projectsAround $3–$5
Once you are a tester, Loop11 invites you to projects by email. The email has the instructions, the link to start, and what you earn.
You need Loop11’s browser extension, which only works in Google Chrome. It records your screen while you test. Most projects also need a microphone, and some a webcam, so work in a quiet room.
Most tests are easy. When I tested the site, I had to add an item to the shopping cart of an online store, and speak my thoughts about it out loud. You can also test with the mobile app, which records your screen the same way.
