I tested Checkealos to see how it works and how it compares with other user testing sites. It is legit and pays decently per project, but there are not many projects. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Legit user testing site, but too few projects
Around €8 to €10 per project, paid through PayPal or Borderless. Few projects, mostly for people in the US, UK and Canada.

The short answer
Checkealos is legit. It is a user testing site that pays you to give feedback on websites and apps.
It pays a decent amount per project and offers PayPal. But there are not many projects, so you cannot earn from it regularly. The payout threshold is relatively high. It can be a decent secondary site, if you align your expectations.
- Pays via PayPal and Borderless
- Pays a decent amount per project
- No software to install for desktop tests
- App for Android and iOS, without pop-up ads
- Limited earning opportunities
- Relatively high payout threshold
- Most projects are for people in the US, UK and Canada
- No clear information about the referral commission

Is Checkealos legit and safe?
Yes, Checkealos is legit, because you really get paid to do tests. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- There are few projects
You have no control over how many projects you get, and the site does not offer a lot of them. This is what limits the earning potential.
- Your location matters
Checkealos is available more or less worldwide, but in my experience, most projects are for people in the US, UK and Canada.
- A relatively high threshold
You used to be able to withdraw any amount. Now you need at least €15 for PayPal or €10 for Borderless.
- Tight time limits
Each project has a set number of participants, so be fast. You have 4 hours to finish a project after you accept it, and 1 hour for a survey. Otherwise it is blocked for you.
- Unclear referral commission
Checkealos does not say what commission you earn when a referral completes a project.
My takeIn my opinion, Checkealos is not a bad user testing site. It pays decently per project, and it offers a convenient payment method. But its earning potential is not that great, because there are not many projects. I recommend it only if you are looking for more user testing sites to join.
Checkealos has few projects. The top sites in your country let you earn on a regular basis.

There are 3 ways to earn. Testing projects are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Testing projectsAround €8 to €10 each
Checkealos matches you with projects and emails you, or you see them in the member dashboard. Most projects are about websites or apps related to cars, banking, insurance, virtual reality and e-commerce.
For a desktop test, you click the project, hit “Accept” and then “Start Recording”. You do not need to install any software. You do need a microphone, because you speak your thoughts out loud the whole time. Do the test in a quiet room. For mobile tests, you use the Checkealos app.
Make sure your device has around 4GB of free storage. When you are done, you submit the test for review. It usually takes no more than a couple of days to hear if it is approved. Then you get the promised pay.
Paid surveysNot common
Now and then, Checkealos invites you to a survey. You have one hour to complete it. I never received an invite while testing, so I could not try this.
Referral programA commission
You share your invite link. When someone signs up and completes a project, you get a commission. Checkealos does not say how much. Based on my experience, it is usually around 5% to 10%.

How much can you make?
It depends mostly on how many projects you complete, and you have no control over how many you get. Based on my testing, there are not many.
Checkealos does pay a relatively decent amount per project: around €8 to €10, and more if the test has complicated steps.
So, while the pay per project is decent, the earning potential is not that good, because there are not a lot of opportunities to earn.
Payout methods and minimums
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | €15 | Usually 5 to 7 business days |
| Borderless | €10 | Usually 5 to 7 business days |
The payment system is relatively straightforward, and I like that it offers PayPal. For more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Who can join, and the app
Checkealos is available more or less worldwide, but you must be at least 18. You fill out the registration form and give your PayPal address. Then you can log in and start.
Your location affects how many projects you get. In my experience, most of them are for people in the US, UK and Canada.
The Checkealos app works on Android and iOS. It is relatively easy to use, and there are no annoying pop-up ads. You need it for mobile tests.
