Wynter pays professionals to take part in research studies. I signed up to see how it works and who it is for. Below is what I found, what it pays, and which sites I recommend if you want to earn regularly.
Legit and pays well per study, but only for specific professionals
Surveys usually pay at least $5, and other studies up to $600. You need a LinkedIn profile, and invites are rare.

The short answer
Wynter is legit. It pays you for taking part in research studies, and the pay per study is good: surveys usually pay at least $5, and other studies can pay up to $600.
But Wynter is not for everyone. It looks for people in specific jobs, you need a LinkedIn profile to sign up, and you can consider yourself lucky if you get one invite in a couple of months. It is not something you can earn from regularly.
- Good pay per study
- No payout threshold
- PayPal, gift cards or a prepaid Visa card
- You receive your reward within five business days
- The member area works well on a phone
- Very few invites
- Only for people in specific job categories
- You need a LinkedIn profile to sign up
- Only available in the US, UK, Canada and certain European countries
- No mobile app, and studies other than surveys need a computer

Is Wynter legit and safe?
Yes, Wynter is legit, because you really get paid to take part in its studies. But that does not mean it is worth it or a good fit for you. Here is what you should know before you sign up.
- You will get very few invites
Wynter’s clients are usually big companies that want information for specific departments. So do not expect a lot of invites. You can consider yourself lucky if you ever get one in a couple of months.
- You need a LinkedIn profile
Without a LinkedIn profile, you cannot sign up as a participant. After you submit everything, you wait for Wynter to confirm whether it accepts you.
- Only for specific professionals
Wynter looks for people in certain job categories. If you do not belong to one of them, it is not something you can reliably earn from.
- Most studies need a computer
There is no app. You can answer surveys on your phone, but for other types of studies you have to use a computer.
My takeIn my opinion, Wynter is not for everyone. You have to belong to a specific industry to qualify for the opportunities it offers. But if you are qualified to join, then you can potentially earn good money from it. Just don’t expect to earn from it regularly, because the opportunities to earn will still be a bit limited, based on my experience.
Wynter only invites specific professionals, and invites are rare. The top sites in your country let you earn regularly.
See the best alternativesHow you earn on Wynter
There is only one way to earn: research studies you are invited to.
Research studies$5 to $600
When you are a member, Wynter invites you to research studies from time to time. The invite appears on the member dashboard, and you also get an email when you have an invitation.
The studies are usually surveys. Sometimes you are asked to record a video or do a 1-on-1 interview. Surveys usually take 10 to 15 minutes. The other types of studies take longer, but they pay more.
Wynter is very specific about who it invites. It usually looks for people in categories like Product Marketing Manager, Project Manager, Learning and Development Manager, Machine Learning Engineer, Cyber Security Consultant, Cyber Security Engineer, Data Governance or Data Manager. That is why you should not expect a lot of invites.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many studies you can take part in, and Wynter does not offer a lot of them.
Per study, the pay is good. Surveys usually pay at least $5, depending on how long they are. Other types of studies can pay up to $600, which is quite a significant amount, in my opinion.
But because there are so few opportunities, I would still consider Wynter’s earning potential relatively low. It is not something you can reliably earn from, especially if you do not belong to one of the job categories it looks for.
Payout methods and speed
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | None | Within five business days |
| Gift cards | None | Within five business days |
| Prepaid Visa card | None | Within five business days |
You choose which reward you receive after you complete a study. You do not have to reach a payout threshold first, which is usually the case on other survey sites.
Overall, I would say Wynter’s payment system is straightforward, and I like that it offers PayPal. For more sites with this payout method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
How to join Wynter
Fill out the registration form, or sign up with your Google account. Then add your LinkedIn profile. This is the most important step: if you do not have a LinkedIn profile, you cannot sign up as a participant.
After you submit everything, you wait for Wynter to confirm whether it accepts you. If it does, you wait for an invite, which can take a while, as Wynter mentions on its website.
This is the first time I have seen a site that asks for your LinkedIn profile. It shows that Wynter is looking for professionals. Most survey sites only ask for your email address or mobile number.
