Wicto is a Get-Paid-To site that pays you to play mobile games and answer surveys. I explored it to see if it is worth joining. It has a $1 cashout, but low rewards and misleading testimonials, and several users report payout problems. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.

The short answer
Wicto is not worth your time, in my opinion. It pays rewards for playing mobile games and answering surveys, with PayPal, Venmo and gift cards from just $1. But the rewards are lower than on the more popular GPT sites.
Several users report not getting paid when they cash out, mostly after their first cashout. The homepage shows misleading earnings testimonials, the Help Center and Contact Us links don’t work, and it seems to be only available in the US.

Is Wicto legit and safe?
Wicto does look like it pays you for its offers, but several users report payout problems. Here is what you should know before you sign up.
- Users report payout problems
Many users report not getting paid when they cash out, and most complaints on its Trustpilot page are about the same issue. Most say the first cashout worked, and the next one did not. Some members say support told them the site didn’t have any money to pay them.
- Misleading earnings testimonials
The homepage shows testimonials with the amounts people earned, suggesting hundreds or thousands of dollars. What you can earn from Wicto will be nowhere near that. Websites that exaggerate their earning potential are often problematic.
- Strict rules and bans
You can’t use a VPN when you sign up, because the site can detect it and ban your account immediately. Many members report getting banned for not following the terms, so read the User Agreement first.
- Some milestones ask for in-game purchases
These offer the highest rewards, but not all of them are worth it. Be careful before you spend money.
- Support is hard to reach
The Help Center and Contact Us links don’t work. I had to do some digging to find the email address hello@wicto.com.
My takeIn my opinion, Wicto is not worth your time. Sure, it offers an easy way to earn rewards and convenient payout options. However, many other sites offer the same thing. The big difference is that those sites have higher earning potential. They also don’t have many complaints regarding cashing out.
How you earn on Wicto
There are 4 ways to earn. Playing games is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Playing gamesSet amount per milestone
When you log in, you see all the mobile games you can play, so you need your phone to earn. Each game has milestones, such as reaching a level, playing for a set time, or in-game objectives like making in-game purchases.
From what I’ve observed while testing, the milestones with in-game purchases offer the highest rewards. But not all of them are worth it, so be careful.
Paid surveysFew surveys
The surveys work like on survey sites: you go through a qualifying process, and if you qualify, you answer the survey. If you get disqualified, move on to the next one.
There aren’t many surveys available, so don’t expect to earn much from them.
TournamentsBonus only
Tournaments are leaderboard contests. You win a prize if you are among the top earners for the duration of the tournament. It’s not an easy way to earn, so treat it as a bonus.
Referral programUp to $5
Share your referral link. It’s not quite clear how the referral rewards work. Based on feedback from other members, you receive the reward (up to $5) once your referral completes an offer, such as playing a game or answering a survey.
How much can you make?
It depends on how much time you are willing to invest. There are a good number of opportunities at any given time, so you won’t run out of ways to earn. The reward depends on the specific offer or survey.
Compared with the more popular GPT sites and apps, the rewards are certainly lower. That’s why I would say its earning potential is quite low. It takes a long time to earn a significant amount.
If you want sites with better rewards, see the top GPT sites.
Payout methods and minimum
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| PayPal | $1 |
| Venmo | $1 |
| Gift cards | $1 |
| Prepaid Visa cards | $1 |
Your earnings are credited to your Wicto account balance. The threshold is very low, so on paper you can withdraw quickly. But many users report not getting paid when they cash out, mostly after the first time. So don’t let a balance build up.
For more sites with convenient payouts, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Who can join, devices and support
The website doesn’t say which countries it is available in, but from my digging, it seems to be only available to people in the US. You register with your email address or Google account. Don’t use a VPN, because the site can detect it and ban your account immediately.
Wicto has no mobile app, but the member dashboard is optimized for mobile use, which is to be expected since the games are mobile games. The user experience isn’t great: important information is missing, so some features are confusing, and some links don’t work.
The Help Center and Contact Us links don’t seem to work. You can email your concerns to hello@wicto.com, but that information is not easy to find.
Sites I recommend instead of Wicto
| Site | Best for | Min. cashout | My rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Swagbucks | Many daily ways to earn, one of the biggest GPT sites | About $5 PayPal; gift cards from 100 SB | 4.3 / 5 |
| Freecash | Offers and games, next to surveys | $5 | 4.2 / 5 |
| Sproutful | US only, low threshold and fast payouts | 500 points ($5) | 4.2 / 5 |
| InboxDollars | US only. Many ways to earn and a $5 joining bonus | $15 first, then $10 | 3.9 / 5 |
For more options, see the top survey and GPT sites in your country. They all have good earning potential, provide a good user experience, and aren’t known to be problematic with handling payouts.
