Try Rewards Review: Legit or Scam? (An Insider’s Look)

Try Rewards

Try Rewards is a decent site to earn from. It offers decent pay and offers convenient payout options. Its only downside is that it has limited earning opportunities for a GPT site.

Try Rewards pays you for playing mobile games. Its site advertises high rewards and hundreds of games. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. It is legit and pays decently per game, but earning takes a lot of time and there are few ways to earn. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit, but earning takes a lot of time

Decent pay per game and a $5 minimum with PayPal, Venmo and Cash App. But few ways to earn for a GPT site.

Good for you ifYou like mobile games, want a secondary app to earn from, and can be patient.
Skip it ifYou want a main site to earn from regularly, or you want more ways to earn than games.

The short answer

Yes, Try Rewards is legit. It really does pay. You earn by playing the mobile games it features, and you can cash out from $5 through PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, prepaid Visa cards or gift cards.

But it has limited ways to earn for a GPT site: games and referrals only. And completing the game missions takes a lot of time. I would only use it as a secondary app.

What I like
  • A fun way to earn rewards
  • Convenient payout methods, from $5
  • A user-friendly app for Android and iOS
  • Decent pay per game
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities for a GPT site
  • It takes a lot of time to earn
  • The best-paying missions often ask for in-game purchases

My experience with Try Rewards

I signed up for Try Rewards, used the web dashboard and the app, and played the featured games. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Try Rewards legit and safe?

Yes, Try Rewards is legit, because it really does pay. These are the catches.

  • Earning takes a lot of time

Each game has missions, such as beating a level. Completing them to earn your rewards can take up a lot of your time.

  • The best rewards ask for in-game purchases

Missions with in-game purchases pay the most, but not all of them are worth it. Be critical before you spend money in a game.

  • Only new games count

Pick a game you have not played before, or you will not earn anything. You also have to open the game from inside the Try Rewards app, or your progress is not tracked.

  • Few ways to earn

There are only games and referrals, which is limited for a GPT site.

My takeTry Rewards is a decent app to earn from, with decent pay and convenient payouts. But because there are few ways to earn and it takes patience, I would only use it as a secondary app. See the alternatives below.

How you earn on Try Rewards

There are 2 ways to earn. Playing games is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Playing gamesDepends on your location
Games on Try Rewards

When you log in, the dashboard shows the games you can play to earn. On the website, you scan a QR code to install a game. In the app, you tap the game and it opens the app store page.

Open the game from inside the Try Rewards app. That is the only way the platform can track your progress and give you your rewards.

Each game has missions, such as beating a level or making an in-game purchase. In-game purchases pay the most, but not all of them are worth it. There are a decent number of games at any time, but choose one you have not played yet, or you will not earn anything.

Referral program10% commission
Try Rewards referral program

You share your referral link. When someone signs up through it, you get a 10% commission every time they earn. That is tier 1.

Your tier goes up as your referral earnings grow. For example, you reach tier 2 once you have earned $20 from referrals. It can be a good way to earn passively, if you invite people who really want to earn.

How much can you make?

It mostly depends on how much time you are willing to invest. When I tested it, completing the missions took up a lot of time.

The pay per game depends on your location, so I cannot give you an exact amount. But it pays decently per game compared to other platforms I have tested. Overall, the earning potential is not that bad, if you are very patient.

Payout methods and minimum

Every game you complete adds a set amount to your Try Rewards balance. You can cash out from $5, which is relatively low. The options depend on your country.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$5Cash
Venmo$5Cash
Cash App$5Cash
Prepaid Visa card$5Card
Gift cards$5Various gift cards

Overall, the payout system is quite straightforward and convenient. For more sites that pay this way, see the top sites that let you earn free Venmo money.
