I tested Tandemz to see if it is worth signing up as a tester. It is legit, pays quickly and has no payout threshold, but there are very few studies. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

The short answer
Tandemz is a legit user testing site that lets you earn by testing websites, apps and products. It has no payout threshold, and you typically receive your reward within a day of completing a study.
But it does not offer a lot of earning opportunities, so you cannot earn a significant amount from it quickly. Tandemz is not a bad site, but it does not give you a good reason to use it, so I do not recommend signing up. The more popular user testing sites offer more opportunities.

Is Tandemz legit and safe?
Yes, Tandemz is legit, because you can really earn rewards from it. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Very few studies
When I tested Tandemz, there were not a lot of opportunities to earn. The number depends on your location, but availability was lower than usual. Tandemz is not among the most popular user testing platforms, so it has fewer clients.
- Studies on a set date and time
Many studies take place on a specified date and time, so make sure you are available before you commit. In-person studies need you to visit a location, and you may never get invited to one.
- Products by mail
Some studies send you a product by postal mail. If a study asks you to buy a product, you are reimbursed for it, based on my experience.
- A thin FAQ
The FAQ only covers some basic topics, so you will likely need to contact support through live chat or email.
My takeIn my opinion, Tandemz is not a bad user testing site. However, it does not offer a good reason to use it, even though it pays quickly. It does not offer a lot of earning opportunities, so you cannot earn a significant amount quickly. You are better off joining the more popular user testing sites.

Remote studiesMost common
You get invites by email, and you can see all the studies that match your profile in the member dashboard. Remote studies are done online and are the most common kind, but they usually pay less than in-person studies.
They take place on a specified date and time, so check that you are available before you commit. The reward is shown in the invite.
In-person studiesHigher, but rare
In-person studies ask you to visit a particular location. They usually pay more, but you may never get invited to one.
Studies on your own scheduleMost convenient
These studies usually involve answering surveys or quizzes, or testing products at home. Products are usually sent to you by postal mail. If a study asks you to buy a product, you are reimbursed for it.
How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many studies you can complete. The pay per study depends on its length and complexity, and it is within the industry standard, so you are not underpaid.
But there are not a lot of opportunities, so you cannot expect to earn regularly from Tandemz. That is why I consider its earning potential to be very low.
