S’more App Review – Worth it or Not? (Full Details + Rating)

S’more Rating

S’more is not an app worth your time. The main reason I say this is that the app has a very low earning potential because the rewards it offers are very small.

I tested the S’more app to see if its lock screen ads, videos and other tasks are worth your time. The rewards are very small, and it pays only in gift cards. Below is what I found, what readers report, and which apps and sites I would pick first.

Personally Tested Last tested

A real lock screen app, but the rewards are very small

A lock screen and GPT app for Android in the US. Most tasks pay around 5 to 10 points, and you can only redeem gift cards.

Good for you ifYou live in the US, use Android, and do not mind ads on your lock screen for a few points a day.
Skip it ifYou want cash instead of gift cards, an iPhone app, or rewards worth your time.

The short answer

S’more is a real lock screen app that rewards you with points for using it. But it is not an app worth your time. The rewards are very small, so it takes quite some time before you can redeem a gift card, and it does not offer cash.

Two readers also report problems at cashout: one account was banned with points on it, and one gift card cashout kept failing. It only works on Android and only in the US. You are better off with the sites I recommend at the end of this review.

What I like
  • A passive way to earn: points for ads on your lock screen
  • The app is relatively user-friendly
  • Several small ways to earn: videos, surveys, games and the charge screen
What I don’t like
  • Very low rewards: around 5 to 10 points per task
  • No cash rewards, only gift cards
  • Some readers report a banned account and a failing cashout
  • Only for Android devices, and only in the US
  • An ad every time you unlock your phone
  • No contact form, and no support email in the app

My experience with S’more

I installed S’more, set up my profile and tried its ways to earn. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is S’more legit and safe?

S’more is a real app, and it does reward you with points for using it. But the rewards are very small, and two readers report problems at cashout. Here is what you should know before you install it.

  • Some readers report problems at cashout

One reader was banned “for security reasons” with over 2,500 points and thinks it happened so S’more would not give her the gift card. Another could not cash out a gift card because the app kept asking for her email and then said it already existed. No reader wrote that they received a gift card.

  • Very low rewards

Most ways to earn pay around 5 to 10 points per task or offer, and the lock screen ads pay up to 10 points a day. It takes quite a long time to reach a gift card.

  • An ad every time you unlock your phone

That is how lock screen apps work. You can swipe the ad away, but it can be quite disturbing and annoying. The charge screen shows ads too.

  • Fill in your profile, or lose your points

Your account is only linked to the app once you fill in your profile in the settings. If you skip it and switch to another device, you lose all your earnings.

  • Gift cards only, after 10 days

You cannot earn cash, and you must use the app for at least 10 days before you can redeem any reward.

My takeIn my opinion, S’more is not an app worth your time. The main reason I say this is that the app has a very low earning potential because the rewards it offers are very small. It will take quite some time before you are able to earn enough points to redeem a reward. Plus, it doesn’t offer cash rewards.

S’more pays very little, and only in gift cards. These sites in your country pay better and pay in cash.

How you earn on S’more

There are 7 ways to earn. Surveys pay the most, but there are few of them. Tap one to read more.

Lock screen adsUp to 10 points a day
How to earn from S’more

Once you install the app, it shows an ad on your lock screen every time you unlock your device. You don’t have to interact with the ad. Just swipe up and use your phone like you normally would.

You earn a maximum of 10 points per day this way. You don’t have to lock and unlock your phone on purpose; normal use gets you there. It is passive, but the ads can be quite annoying.

Paid surveysHighest-paying

The surveys work like on any other survey site. You first go through a qualifying process. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get the reward when you complete it.

There aren’t a lot of surveys compared to the top survey apps, so it is not a reliable way to earn. But surveys are the highest-paying opportunity on S’more, so do them first when you find one.

Watching videosAround 10 points
Watch videos on S’more

The videos are ads of around 30 to 60 seconds. Press “Watch Videos” and follow the instructions. When I tested it, the app asked me to watch two videos, and I earned around 10 points for them.

Charge screen5 points a day
S’more charge screen

While your device is charging and locked, you can watch video ads from the charging screen. After at least two videos, you receive five points. Watching more does not earn you more.

Playing gamesDrops over time

Install a featured game from the app. It then shows up under “Your Apps”. Always open the game from there, or S’more cannot track your progress and you earn nothing.

The longer you play one game, the fewer points you receive. When you notice that, move on to the next game.

Cashback offersFew and far between
Cashback offers of S’more

From time to time, S’more shows cashback offers. You click the offer, buy at the store and get the cashback after the refund period, which usually lasts 30 to 45 days.

I did not find any cashback offers while I was testing the app. S’more isn’t really a cashback app, so expect few of them compared to the best cashback sites.

Referral program25 points each

Share your referral link. When someone installs the app through it, registers and uses the app for at least 10 days, you both receive 25 points.

That is quite low for promoting the app. Other GPT sites and apps offer better referral rewards.

How much can you make?

Very little. Most ways to earn reward you with around five to ten points per task or offer, and the lock screen ads pay up to 10 points per day. That is significantly lower than the more popular GPT apps and sites, from what I observed while testing it.

The cheapest gift card, a $3 Amazon gift card, costs 333 points. So it takes quite a long time before you can redeem anything, and some readers report problems when they tried. The earning potential of S’more is very low.

Rewards and minimums

RewardMinimumNote
Amazon gift card333 points ($3)Use the app for at least 10 days first
Other gift cards556 points ($5)Use the app for at least 10 days first

All ways to earn pay in points, which you redeem for gift cards. There are no cash rewards. If you want cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

  3. I used to use it a lot and I have a large team of s’more fans, but about 11 months ago we faced a problem with the number starting to reject our numbers. If you can solve this problem, we can become your team in this application and you get a percentage of our profits, even though they are small. I hope you leave an answer
