I joined and tested Scarlet Clicks to see if it is worth your time. It seems to pay, but the rewards are very low, and real money means paying for a membership and recruiting others. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

A PTC site with a $2 threshold, open in every country. Ads pay fractions of a cent, and the real money is in paid memberships and referrals.

Scarlet Clicks is legit, as far as I can tell, since you can earn a bit of money and get paid through legit methods. But that does not mean it is a good way to earn.
The rewards for every earning method are very low. Clicking an ad pays $0.0001 to $0.001. To earn any real money, you seem to have to pay for a higher membership and recruit a lot of new members. For these reasons, it is not a site I recommend.

My experience with Scarlet Clicks
I joined Scarlet Clicks and went through every way to earn, the membership levels and the payout options. I have since decided not to use it anymore. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Scarlet Clicks legit and safe?
Scarlet Clicks is legit, as far as I can tell, since you can earn a bit of money and get paid through legit methods. But here are 5 reasons it might not be for you.
- The rewards are very low
Ads pay $0.0001 to $0.001 each, and sign-up offers $0.05 to $0.50. It will take a lot of clicks to make any real money.
- Rented and bought referrals are a gamble
You do not know the quality of the referrals you rent or buy, and Scarlet Clicks does not guarantee their activity. You can end up paying for referrals that earn you nothing. If you try it, only use what you already earned on the site.
- You have to pay to earn more
Only the standard membership is free. The paid levels cost from $5 per month up to $700 per year, and you need to be very active to earn that money back.
- Not very user-friendly
There are ads everywhere on the site, and some cover the content. It is not optimized for mobile, so everything is very small on a phone.
- A reader reported a suspension at a bigger payout
In March 2019, a long-time member wrote that his account was suspended right after he requested a bigger payout. I have not been able to check this myself.
My takeOverall, I think the earning potential of Scarlet Clicks is too low because of the very low rewards for all the earning methods it offers. I also do not like that to earn any real money, you seem to have to pay for a higher membership and recruit a lot of new members. For these reasons, it is not a site I recommend.
Scarlet Clicks pays fractions of a cent per ad. The top sites in your country pay a lot more for your time.

You find the ads under “View ads” in the main menu, and more under “Earn more”. You see the reward before you click. Then you watch the website for 5 to 15 seconds and solve a captcha, and you get paid.
The higher the reward, the longer you watch. It is really easy, but it takes A LOT of clicks to make any real money.
Referral programBy membership level
You earn a commission every time someone who joined through your link earns. How much depends on your membership level. It takes a lot of work and a lot of referrals to earn any real money, and spamming your link is not effective.
You can also rent referrals for one month at a time, or buy them for life. Scarlet Clicks does not guarantee their activity, so this is a bit risky and kind of like gambling.
You only earn from referrals if you clicked at least 4 ads the day before.
Paid-to-sign-up offers$0.05 to $0.50 each
Under “PTSU”, you get paid to sign up for other sites. Many are similar to Scarlet Clicks, but you can also find a survey site like ySense. Read the conditions first: many require you to be active on the other platform for a number of days.
ContestsNot active
The site shows points contests and referral contests, but when I wrote this review, none were active. The last points contest was more than 2 years before. Do not expect much from this.
Buy adsCosts money
If you have a website to promote, you can buy ads on Scarlet Clicks. The price depends on the type of ad. This is only relevant if you have something to promote.
Traffic exchangeCredits, no cash
You visit other websites to earn credits, and use the credits to get visits to your own site. It costs nothing but time. Most visitors only do it for credits, so the traffic is not likely to be of high quality.

Scarlet Clicks membership levels
You can be a free standard member, or upgrade to silver monthly, silver yearly, gold monthly, gold yearly or diamond. Only the standard membership is free. The others cost from $5 per month up to $700 per year for diamond.
A higher level raises your commission from referrals’ clicks, what you get when referrals upgrade, how many referrals you can have, and more. But you need to be very active to earn the money back, and the levels make clear that real money means recruiting a lot of other people.
I am not against membership levels as such. PrizeRebel has them too, but all its levels are free, and you can earn well there without recruiting others. I prefer sites like that.
How much can you make?
In my opinion and experience, there is no easy, quick trick to make really good money on Scarlet Clicks. To make real money, you need A LOT of high-quality, active referrals, and you need to upgrade your membership to get the most out of them.
If you are not a very experienced marketer, it will likely be very difficult to make good money here. PTC sites in general are not a fast way to earn online. The low rewards are the main reason I rarely think they are worth the time.
I prefer GPT sites, where you find more ways to earn, like surveys, tasks and offers, and you do not have to pay for better earning opportunities.

You see the payout methods when you sign up, and you can choose them later. The $2 threshold is very low, but with rewards this small, it can still take some time to reach it.
