Rubi is a free app where you tap a button once a day to mine its own crypto. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. Below is what I found, the red flags I noticed, and which mining apps I recommend instead.
Not worth your time: the coins have no value, and there are red flags
Easy daily mining on Android and iOS, but RUBI has no monetary value yet, and there is no launch date.

The short answer
Rubi is a free crypto mining app, similar to Pi Network. You tap a button once a day and mine its own crypto, RUBI. It takes less than a minute a day. But RUBI does not have any monetary value yet, and there is no launch date.
The app does a poor job of explaining how mining works, most of the FAQ links do not work, and the team photos look unnatural and their social media links do not work. In my opinion, Rubi is not worth your time. There are better ways to earn free crypto.
- Offers a potentially easy way to earn
- Takes less than a minute a day
- Available more or less worldwide
- Works on Android and iOS
- The coins you mine have no monetary value yet
- No launch date, not even in the white paper
- Does a poor job of explaining how the earning opportunity works
- Has some concerning details about the team behind the project
- Most of the FAQ links do not work
My experience with Rubi Mining
I installed the Rubi app, signed up and mined RUBI. I also checked the white paper, the FAQ and the team behind the project. This is what I looked at, and what I could not test.
- First tested
- January 2026Review first published Jan 15, 2026
- Latest retest
- Checked: mining, launch status, support
- Time needed
- Less than a minute a dayOne tap on the Mine button every 24 hours
- Value of RUBI
- None yetStill in its development phase
- Team photos
- Look unnaturalAnd the social media links do not work
- Installing the app and signing up
- Choosing a mining pool and mining RUBI
- The FAQ in the app and the white paper
- Who the team behind the project is
- A payout. RUBI has no monetary value yet, so there is nothing to withdraw.

In the video below, I show my own test and give you an inside look, so you can see exactly how Rubi works. This is not payment proof: RUBI cannot be withdrawn yet.

Is Rubi Mining legit and safe?
Some apps like this turn out to be harmless but worthless experiments. Rubi does not offer a lot of upside, and there is no guarantee this project will succeed. Here is what you should know.
- Your coins have no value yet
RUBI does not have any monetary value yet. I read articles online that said it would launch in 2025, but it didn’t happen. The white paper does not give a launch date either, so I cannot say when it will happen, or if it will happen.
- Concerning details about the team
The photos of the team members look unnatural, in my opinion: heavily Photoshopped, or maybe even generated by AI. The links to their social media do not work, and a quick search for their names did not show any favorable results.
- Complaints before launch
There are already complaints about Rubi even before its mainnet has launched. That is why it is not a trusted network, and probably why it won’t be successful.
- Poor explanation of how mining works
The app asks you to pick a mining pool but does not explain what mining pools are. It only says the mining factor is halved every time the number of users grows by a certain number.
- A bold $2 claim
The website claims 1 RUBI will eventually be worth $2. That is not impossible, but I find it highly unlikely based on my experience with free earning platforms.
My takeIn my opinion, Rubi is not worth your time. It doesn’t offer a lot of upside, and there’s no guarantee this project will succeed. But if you believe in its potential, you can go ahead and download it. I personally won’t use it for the reasons stated above.
How you earn on Rubi
There is only one way to earn: mining RUBI with a daily tap.
MiningNo value yet
You install the app and log in once a day to tap the Mine button. It then mines RUBI for 24 hours. When it finishes, you log in and tap the button again. That takes less than a minute a day.
When I tested the app, it asked me to select the mining pool I wanted to mine from, but it did not explain what these pools are. When I tested Pi Network, I immediately knew how to mine and how to increase my mining rate. With Rubi, you don’t know the full details. It only says the mining factor is halved every time the number of users increases by a certain number.

How much can you make?
Right now, nothing you can spend. RUBI does not have any monetary value yet, so this is still the speculation phase.
The website claims 1 RUBI will eventually be worth $2. To put that into perspective: when Pi Network launched its mainnet, its token started at around $1.47 to $1.70, briefly hit around $2.00 to $2.10, and has gone down significantly since. Pi Network is a trusted network, which is the biggest reason its launch succeeded. Rubi already has complaints before its launch.
I’m not saying it will never succeed. But based on my experience, its chances aren’t that great, so I consider its earning potential very low. If you want guaranteed earnings, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Who can join, and how
The website doesn’t say exactly which countries Rubi is available in. From what I can see, it is available more or less worldwide, or at least in countries where there are no crypto restrictions.
Rubi is mobile only, on Android and iOS. Install the app, and you go through the registration the first time you open it. Then you can log in and start mining. The app looks quite polished, but it does a poor job of explaining how the earning works.
The website has no FAQ. The app does, but not all of its links work. For questions, email support@rubi.click.
