Proxyrack Review – Worth It? (What to Expect)

Proxyrack Rating

Proxyrack is not a bad bandwidth-sharing site. It offers a passive form of earning, which is to be expected from this kind of platform. It also offers convenient payout methods.

I tested the Proxyrack Peer program to see if sharing your internet connection with it is worth it. It is legit and pays a decent rate per gigabyte, but demand goes up and down, so you cannot rely on it. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit passive earning, but not reliable

$0.50 per GB of data shared and cashouts from $5, but you only earn when Proxyrack’s clients need your location.

Good for you ifYou have a Windows or Linux computer and want one more passive app running in the background.
Skip it ifYou want to earn regularly, or you only have an iPhone or a Mac.

The short answer

The Proxyrack Peer program is legit, because you can really earn from it. You install its software, let it run in the background, and earn from your unused internet bandwidth.

But its biggest drawback is that demand fluctuates frequently, so you can’t reliably earn from it. It does not work on iOS or Mac. I would only join it if you need an additional way to earn passively.

What I like
  • Offers a passive form of earning
  • Offers convenient payout options
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • A decent rate of $0.50 per gigabyte shared
What I don’t like
  • It can take some time to earn a significant amount because demand fluctuates
  • Not compatible with iOS and Mac devices
  • The Android version must be installed manually from an APK file

My experience with Proxyrack

I signed up for the Proxyrack Peer program and looked at the dashboard, the software, the referral program, the payouts and the support options. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Proxyrack legit and safe?

Yes, the Proxyrack Peer program is legit, because you can really earn from it. But that does not make it worth joining for everyone. Here is what you should know.

  • Demand goes up and down

Based on my observations while testing, Proxyrack will not always buy your unused bandwidth. It depends on whether its clients need connections from your location, and sometimes it even pauses the earning opportunity, probably because of low demand.

  • You rent out your internet connection

Proxyrack sells proxy connections to companies and developers, so they can route internet traffic through real residential IP addresses. When you run the software, you help power that proxy network with your connection.

  • Limited devices

The software works on Windows and Linux computers. There is no version for Mac or iOS. The Android version is not on Google Play, so you have to install the APK file from the dashboard yourself. Only do that if you know how to install APK files.

  • Lower earnings outside high-demand countries

It is available globally, but demand is not the same everywhere. Based on my experience, it is higher in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and major European countries. Elsewhere, your earning potential is a bit lower.

My takeIn my opinion, Proxyrack is not a bad bandwidth-sharing site. It offers a passive form of earning, which is to be expected from this kind of platform, and convenient payout methods. Its biggest drawback is that the demand fluctuates frequently, so you can’t reliably earn from it. So I would suggest you only join it if you need an additional way to earn passively.

How you earn on Proxyrack

There are 2 ways to earn. Running the software is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Running the software$0.50 per GB

Log in to the dashboard and download the peer client. It works on Windows and Linux computers, and there is an Android version you install manually.

Link the device to your account: copy the device ID that the software shows you, and add it to the list of devices in your dashboard. Then let it run in the background. You can track how much bandwidth you share and how much you earn in the dashboard.

The site says you are paid $0.50 per gigabyte of data shared. It is a decent rate, in my opinion, but it does not mean you earn a significant amount quickly, because they will not always buy your bandwidth.

Referral program10% commission
The Proxyrack referral program

Share your referral link. When someone signs up through it, installs the software and lets it run, they become an active peer, and you receive a 10% commission every time they earn.

It is a decent rate, but make sure the people you invite are really interested in earning from it. Otherwise, this opportunity is relatively useless.

How much can you make?

Proxyrack offers a decent rate per gigabyte of data you share. But it still takes a bit of time before you reach the $5 threshold.

That is because your earnings depend entirely on whether Proxyrack’s clients need connections from your location. So it is not a reliable way to earn extra cash, in my opinion.

That being said, I would consider its earning potential not that bad, since you do not have to do anything to earn. The effort is proportional to the earnings, which is what I expect from bandwidth-sharing platforms.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$5Through Tremendous
Wire transfer$5Through Tremendous
Gift cards$5Various gift cards through Tremendous

Once you have earned at least $5, you can cash out via Tremendous, a platform that lets you withdraw your earnings to PayPal or by wire transfer, or redeem gift cards.

Overall, the payout system is quite straightforward and convenient. For more sites that pay this way, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
