EarnApp Review 2026: Is It Legit? My Tested Results and Payment Proof

EarnApp Rating

If you are looking for an easy way to earn some extra cash, I would say EarnApp is a decent option. Even though it doesn’t pay that much, it’s still a good option because you don’t have to put in a lot of effort to earn.

I tested EarnApp myself and got paid. Below is my payment proof, how its new pay-per-time model works, what you can expect to earn, and the limits you should know about before you install it.

The short answer

EarnApp is legit. It paid me, and I show the payment proof in my video. You install its program, it shares your unused internet bandwidth in the background, and you earn passively with almost no effort.

But the rewards are low. Since August 20, 2025, EarnApp pays for the time your device is connected instead of per gigabyte, up to $10 per IP address a month in the US and up to $5 elsewhere. It will not make you rich, so be patient and set your expectations right.

What I like
  • Offers an effortless way to earn
  • Offers payment via PayPal and Wise
  • Has a low payout threshold: $2.50
  • Available globally
  • Automatic payouts when you reach the threshold
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards
  • The Android app requires a bit of effort to set up properly
  • The Android app is not on Google Play, and Play Protect flags it
  • Amazon gift cards need $50

My experience with EarnApp

I installed EarnApp, let it run, and cashed out. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Payment proof

EarnApp has paid me. In the first video, I show exactly how to cash out and my payment proof, so you can see for yourself that it actually pays. The second video gives you an inside look and shows exactly how you can earn from EarnApp.

Is EarnApp legit and safe?

Yes, EarnApp is legit. It paid me, and I show the proof in my video. But that does not mean it is right for you. Here is what you should know before you install it.

  • The rewards are low

The rate depends on your location and how long your device is connected. Your bandwidth is not always used, even when the program runs. There will be times when no one wants your unused bandwidth, so be patient.

  • Google Play Protect flags the Android app

The app is not on Google Play, because Play Protect detects it as malicious. EarnApp explains on its FAQ page that this is a false positive and that it is working with Google to fix it. You install the app manually through an APK file, and Play Protect may remove it unless you allow it in its settings.

  • Your internet can slow down a little

The program shares your unused bandwidth, so you may notice a slight difference when you download large files or play games online. Pause the program when you need your full connection.

  • Partial pay below the traffic target

Your device must meet a minimum traffic requirement to earn the full hourly rate. Below it, you earn a partial amount based on what you contribute.

  • Offers take time

Most offers ask you to play mobile games and take time to complete. Only start one when you have enough time to finish it.

My takeIf you are looking for an easy way to earn some extra cash, I would say EarnApp is a decent option. Even though it doesn’t pay that much, it’s still a good option because you don’t really have to put a lot of effort into earning. Once you’ve set up the program, you can just sit back and reap the rewards. You do have to set your expectations properly because this site will not make you rich.

How you earn on EarnApp

There are 3 ways to earn. Sharing your unused bandwidth is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Sharing your unused internet bandwidthUp to $10 per IP a month
EarnApp software for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android

After you register, you download the EarnApp software. It works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers, and there is an Android app. Once installed, the program appears in your system tray. Click it and link your account, which takes a few seconds. You can also let it start when your computer starts.

Until August 20, 2025, you were paid for every gigabyte shared. Now EarnApp pays for the duration of your device’s connection and its contribution to traffic. In the US, EarnApp lists up to $10 per IP address a month, which is about $0.0138 per hour. Outside the US, it lists up to $5 per IP address a month, around $0.0069 per hour. You earn the full hourly rate only when your device meets the minimum traffic requirement. Below it, you earn a partial amount.

I compared the rates with similar platforms, such as Pawns. They are not higher than other platforms that offer the same opportunity, but not lower than most of them either.

You can pause the program whenever you need your full connection, and turn it back on when you are not doing anything else. Earning is really that simple.

OffersTakes time
Offers inside EarnApp

Offers are short tasks you do for a reward. Inside EarnApp, they usually ask you to play mobile games and complete certain missions or steps. Complete them, and you earn the reward promised.

There is a decent number of offers at any given time. Most take some time to complete, so make sure you have enough time before you start one, so you do not waste your effort.

Referral program10% commission
EarnApp referral program

Share your invite link. You earn a 10% commission every time your referral shares their unused bandwidth. EarnApp pays it; it is not deducted from your referral’s earnings.

Your referral must install the EarnApp software, and they must run it on a different IP address than yours. If you share the same IP address, you will not earn anything.

How much can you make?

It depends on where you live and how often you let the program run in the background. The rate depends on your country and the time your device is connected. The only thing you control is how often the program runs.

Your bandwidth is not always shared, even when the program is running. There will be times when no one wants to use it. You will not get rich from it, but it requires almost no effort, and that is the main appeal.

If I were to rate the earning potential of EarnApp, I would say it isn’t that good. But since it requires no effort on your end, it can still be worth it, in my opinion. You just need to be very patient.

Payout methods and minimums

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$2.50My preferred method, because the threshold is low
Wise$2.50Added after I started using EarnApp
Amazon gift cards$50Only Amazon.com, Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk

Your earnings show up in your balance on the member dashboard. You can set up EarnApp to pay you automatically: pick the payment method, and EarnApp redeems it every time you reach the threshold.

Overall, EarnApp’s payment system is easy to understand, and I like the very low threshold for PayPal and Wise. For more sites with a low payout threshold, see the fastest paying sites.

Devices, joining and support

The Android app does the same as the computer software: it shares your unused mobile bandwidth. If you have an unlimited data plan, you can squeeze out a few dollars with it. It is not the most ideal way to earn, in my opinion. You install it through an APK file, because it is not on Google Play. There is now also an iOS option: an app called Bright Rewards. EarnApp links to it from its website.

EarnApp is available globally. You sign up with your Google account, download the software from the member dashboard, link your account, and start earning right away.

For questions, check the FAQ page first. If it does not help, use the contact form on the FAQ page. I would say EarnApp has a decent support system.

Play Protect warnings3 comments

Readers ask if the app is safe when Play Protect calls it harmful. EarnApp says it is a false positive and is working with Google on it.

Reader, February 2024
Mikael: I suggest you contact their support about this.

“Do I have to pay to make withdraws?”

Reader, March 2023
Mikael: No, it is free to use, as I explain above.

Mikael: Good luck. Let me know how it goes. You can also check this list of the best sites that pay in Amazon gift cards. On many of those it will be a lot faster to get gift cards.

        • I do not know that app, so I cannot say anything about it. But there are many scams that get people to invest a lot and then suddenly close down. If a platform promises very high earnings for minimal effort, it is always a warning sign. So it looks like you have been scammed by this one and there is likely nothing you can do about it, unfortunately.
