Peer2Profit no longer accepts new members
Since 2023, Peer2Profit no longer accepts new members. Its website is no longer available, so you cannot register, and members cannot log in there anymore. If you are not already a member, you cannot join or earn on it now.
Existing members can still reach their account, withdraw and keep earning through Peer2Profit’s Telegram bot (see the FAQ below). The Peer2Profit website does not exist anymore, so stay away from anyone promoting it.
Peer2Profit paid you for sharing your unused internet bandwidth. It no longer accepts new members. I used it myself before that and was paid many times. Below is what I found, and which apps I would pick instead.

When it was open to everyone, it was legit. It paid you for sharing your unused internet bandwidth, and I was paid by it many times myself. Its rate per gigabyte was higher than most of its competitors. But it had no iOS app, and its FAQ page needed a lot of work.

I signed up, ran Peer2Profit in the background and cashed out many times. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was Peer2Profit legit and safe?
Peer2Profit no longer accepts new members, so you cannot join or earn on it now. When it was open, it was legit, because it really paid you for the bandwidth you shared. These were the catches.
- New members cannot join
The website is no longer available, so you cannot register as a new member, and members cannot reach their account there. Existing members need the Telegram bot to get access to their account, withdraw and keep earning.
- Fake websites and fake bots
The Peer2Profit website does not exist anymore. If you see anyone promoting the website itself, stay away from it. There are also many fake Telegram bots, so existing members must use the exact right one.
- No iOS, and the app drained the battery
It never worked on iOS devices. On Android, you installed it from Google Play or with the APK installer, because Google does not support apps like this that run in the background. The app also made your battery drain faster.
- A weak FAQ page
Some questions on the FAQ page had answers, but most did not. The support team itself was quick to reply when I contacted it.
- Earnings depended on your setup
How much you earned depended on your country, your device, your internet connection, how many devices you installed it on, and the current demand.
My takePeer2Profit no longer accepts new members, so it is no longer an option unless you joined before. When it was open, it was a good passive app that paid me many times. If you are an existing member, use the official Telegram bot to get your earnings. Everyone else, see the alternatives below.
How you earned on Peer2Profit
There were 2 ways to earn. Running the software was the main one. Tap one to read more.
Running the software or app$0.8 to $1 per GB
Peer2Profit sold your unused internet bandwidth to companies doing social media marketing or data collection, and paid you for the bandwidth you shared. It worked a lot like Honeygain and Pawns.
You downloaded the software from the member dashboard. It worked on Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android and Ubuntu. After the setup, you only had to keep it running in the background, and it did all the work for you.
On Android, you installed it from Google Play or with the APK installer. The app made your battery drain faster, so I preferred to run it on my computer.
Referral program50% of what referrals earn
You shared your referral link, and people who signed up through it became your referrals. You then earned 50% of what they earned. Peer2Profit paid this commission, so it was not taken from your referral’s earnings.
Your referral code was in the member area once you joined. It was a profitable opportunity, as long as the people you invited were really interested in earning from Peer2Profit.

How much could you make?
Peer2Profit paid better than most, if not all, of its competitors. You earned $0.8 per gigabyte you shared through the software (residential), and $1 per gigabyte through the app.
So its earning potential was pretty good, for a passive app. How much you really earned depended on your device, your connection, your country and how many devices you installed it on. As long as you kept sharing your bandwidth every day, you could reach the payout threshold quite often.
How Peer2Profit paid
You earned US dollars for every gigabyte you shared. When you cashed out, Peer2Profit converted your earnings to the currency you chose.

Who could join, and on which devices?
No one can join now. When it was open, Peer2Profit was available globally. As long as you had a high-speed internet connection, you could sign up with the registration form or with your Google account (that is what I did).
It worked on computers and Android devices, but not on iOS. The website worked well in a mobile browser, which was handy for checking your earnings and cashing out.

Instead of Play Store, I prefer to use F-Droid, but it is not there either.
Someone once asked me if he can use Honeygain, Pawns.app, and Peer2Profit at the same time if he has fast enough internet and if they will interfere with each other if they work together.
Personally, I would like you to write a review for the Cocoon Rewards, which I already mentioned in one of the earlier comments, and maybe make a list of the worst places to make money, i.e. scam sites and apps that should be avoided because they pretend to be what they really are not; if you understand what I mean.

A referral code is your invitation code you can share with others, and they can join through it. It is not something that has to be activated – you can just find it inside the member area once you join.

First of all, the video you linked to is someone who has stolen my video and uploaded it to their own channel so I deleted the link and will have the video removed asap.
Secondly, as far as I am aware it started in 2021. As you can see in the review above, I have been paid by it several times myself and so far not had any issues with it.
