- It is picky about who it accepts
Pareto.AI mostly looks for freelancers with specialized skills. If you are new to the field, there is a huge chance it will not accept you. Getting some certifications in the field first helps.
- Few projects
There are not that many opportunities yet, and how many you get depends on your location. When I wrote this review, Pareto.AI was still in its beta stage.
- You need a computer
The work is mostly data entry tasks for AI training, so you need to sit in front of a computer. Pareto.AI provides the software when it is needed.
- Everything goes by email
There is no member dashboard. Project invitations, with the pay for each project, come by email. Before you are accepted, email is also the only way to contact the team.
My takeIn my opinion, there is no reason to apply to Pareto.AI now, because it is shutting down. If you are a member, collect your earnings before the deadlines. If you want to work on AI training projects, pick another platform from my list. If you want a more reliable way to earn, you are better off building your own online business.

Once you are accepted as an AI trainer, Pareto.AI matches you with AI training projects from its clients. You get each invitation by email, with all the details of the project. Sometimes you are paid per task, sometimes by the hour.
All projects involve some kind of data entry tasks. Some only accept trainers with a specific skill set and experience, so it helps if you have worked on AI training projects before.
The work is remote, and you set your own hours. Pareto.AI provides training and ongoing support, and hands-on mentorship from senior prompt engineers and AI experts.

How much can you make?
There is no fixed amount per project. You find the pay for each project in the email invitation. From my research, the pay is competitive: around $40 to $100 per task or per hour, depending on complexity.
How many projects you get is hard to tell, because it depends on your location. In some countries there are more opportunities; in others only a few projects at any given time.
So the earning potential is not that great, even though it pays quite well per project. You need to be very patient.
