MyClearOpinion is a survey site for people in the US and Canada that pays in gift cards. I joined and tested it to see if it is worth your time. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.
Legit, with no threshold, but few ways to earn and no cash
Points are paid out automatically every month as gift cards. Only paid surveys, and only in the US and Canada.

The short answer
MyClearOpinion is a legit survey site that rewards you for answering surveys. There is no payout threshold: your points are redeemed automatically at the start of each month.
But it only offers one way to earn, so its earning potential is quite low, and you get gift cards, not cash. You also wait until the next month for your rewards. It is only available in the US, U.S. Territories and Canada.
- No payout threshold
- Processes payment automatically
- Good support system
- A prize draw entry when you do not qualify
- The site is optimized for mobile
- Limited earning opportunities
- No cash rewards
- You wait until the next month for your rewards
- Only available in the US, U.S. Territories and Canada
My experience with MyClearOpinion

Is MyClearOpinion legit and safe?
Yes, MyClearOpinion is a legit survey site that rewards you for answering surveys. But being legit does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Only one dependable way to earn
Paid surveys are the only real way to earn. If there are no surveys for you, you earn nothing. The monthly prize draw is not a dependable way to earn.
- No cash rewards
You get gift cards, not cash. Technically, the only way to get cash is to win the monthly draw, which hardly ever happens, in my experience.
- You wait a month for your rewards
Points are redeemed once a month, for everything you earned the month before. So it can take a month before you get your rewards.
- A misleading country list
The sign-up lets you pick from plenty of countries, so you would think it is available globally. It is only available in the US, U.S. Territories and Canada.
My takeIf you are okay with receiving gift cards as payment, MyClearOpinion can be a viable site to join. But you need to be very patient with it, because it offers very limited earning opportunities. The good thing is that it processes payments automatically, and you do not need to reach a threshold. The downside is that you have to wait until the beginning of the next month to get your rewards.
How you earn on MyClearOpinion
There are 2 ways to get rewards. Paid surveys are the only dependable one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMain earner
Click the Surveys tab to see three sections: Available Surveys, Diary Surveys and Profiler Surveys. Diary Surveys ask you to answer over several days, like a diary. Profiler Surveys gather more information about you. They are usually not rewarded, but you need them to qualify for more surveys.
MyClearOpinion also emails you when there is a survey for you. Every survey shows its points and estimated time. You first go through a few screening questions. If you do not qualify, you move on to the next survey.
Complete your profile to get more invites. When I first logged in after registering, I was asked to complete my profile again. Just click Next until it says your profile has been saved.
Monthly prize drawLuck only
Every survey you do not qualify for gives you one entry into the monthly draw for a $100 American Express gift card. Winners are notified by email. It is not a dependable way to earn, but it makes being screened out a bit less frustrating.
How you get paid
| Reward | Minimum | When |
|---|---|---|
| Gift cards: Amazon, Home Depot and other retailers | None | Points are redeemed at the start of the month. Processing takes 4 to 8 days, and rewards typically arrive around the 8th to 12th. |
| $100 American Express gift card (prize draw) | Win the draw | Sent separately from your CLEARcash rewards |
Your rewards arrive by email from Virtual Rewards, with a link to redeem a gift card for your point amount. If you prefer sites where you can withdraw quickly, see the fastest paying survey sites.
Survey sites I recommend instead
