Is MoolaDays Legit or a Scam? (Pros & Cons Revealed)

MoolaDays Rating

MoolaDays is legit as you can earn on the site, and it offers legit payout methods. But it does not offer very good opportunities compared to other sites.

MoolaDays says it is an easy way to earn extra cash and that it pays instantly. I joined and tested it. Below is what it offers, how the payouts really work, and which sites I would pick first.

Not a scam, but low rewards and no instant payout

Open worldwide. Surveys pay $0.50 for what pays more elsewhere, and you need $15 in cash or $15 in points before you can cash out.

The short answer

MoolaDays is not a scam. You can earn some extra money there, and it offers legit payout methods: PayPal and Amazon gift cards.

But it has few earning opportunities, and the rewards are lower than on other sites for the same surveys. The “instant” payout it promises is a big exaggeration: you need $15, and your first payment comes 15 days after the end of the month you requested it. Several readers also report that their account was canceled or suspended before they could cash out. It is not a site I recommend.

What I like
  • Free to join
  • Available worldwide
  • The website is optimized for mobile
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards compared to similar sites
  • Not an instant payout, as it claims
  • Few earning opportunities
  • Not very user-friendly
  • Several readers report canceled accounts before cashout

My experience with MoolaDays

I joined MoolaDays and tested each way to earn, and compared it to the hundreds of other sites I have tested. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is MoolaDays legit and safe?

MoolaDays is not a scam: you can earn some extra money, and the payout methods are legit. But there are some important details to consider before you join.

  • The payout is not instant

The front page says you can get paid instantly by PayPal or Amazon gift cards. In fact, you need $15, and your first payment comes 15 days after the end of the month you requested it. Sites that really pay instantly pay out from $1 or less, within minutes or hours.

  • Cash and points are separate

Some activities pay cash, which you cash out to PayPal from $15. Others pay points, which you can only use for Amazon gift cards from $15, or for more paid emails. You can exchange cash for points, but not points for cash. So you can end up having to earn quite a bit more.

  • Readers report canceled accounts

Several readers told me their account was canceled or suspended when they were close to cashing out. They say support did not respond.

  • Support may not answer you

MoolaDays writes that it will not respond if you ask a question that is already answered on its website. It also does not say how quickly it answers.

  • Paid emails you cannot turn off

Once you join, you receive paid emails. You cannot opt out of them unless you cancel your membership.

My takeI think the claims MoolaDays makes on its front page are exaggerated. It does not offer a lot of opportunities, and you get lower rewards for the same surveys than on other sites. It is not a site I recommend, and not one I will be using myself anymore. The top-paying sites in your country give you better opportunities and better payout conditions.

How you earn on MoolaDays

MoolaDays has 6 sections where you can earn or save. Surveys and the PeanutLabs offers are the main ones. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveys$0.50 per survey
The two survey options on MoolaDays

You take surveys through two routers: Your Surveys and Opinion Surveys. Both are legit survey providers with a decent number of surveys, but it is still not a lot compared to many other sites.

You get $0.50 per survey. You can take the same surveys on many other platforms for higher rewards. On PrizeRebel, for example, Your Surveys pay around $0.80 per survey. In the long run, that makes quite a big difference.

Paid offersFew offers
The offers section on MoolaDays

The top menu has several offer categories, but if you click to see all offers, you only find the same two survey routers, presented with a bit of graphics and text.

The “Points” tab in the top menu gives you a PeanutLabs offerwall with some offers. The same offerwall is on a lot of other sites with better overall opportunities.

Paid emails$0.01 to $0.05 each
Choosing the reward per paid email on MoolaDays

You get paid a few cents to click the link in an email with an offer. You can choose a reward of $0.01 to $0.05 per email. The higher the reward, the faster your Guaranteed Paid Emails (GPE) reach zero. Then you can no longer earn from emails.

You can use points from surveys and offers to increase your GPE again. So you basically pay to keep getting emails you are paid to read. You cannot opt out of these emails unless you cancel your membership.

Shopping cashback9 shops
The cashback shops on MoolaDays

You can get some money back if you shop online through MoolaDays’ links. It has some good shops, but I saw a total of 9, mostly US shops. Swagbucks and WowApp, for example, give you access to hundreds of online shops.

Referral program15% commission

You earn 15% commission when you invite friends. But you would have to invite them to a site with very limited opportunities, so neither they nor you are likely to earn much from it.

CouponsNo pay

The coupons section is just a link to coupons.com. MoolaDays earns a commission if you use it, but it gives you no advantage. You might as well visit the coupon site directly.

How much can you make?

Based on my experience testing it, I really do not see a lot of earning potential on MoolaDays. It has limited opportunities, and because you cannot freely exchange between cash and points, it is very inflexible compared to other sites.

You should not expect to earn much by joining MoolaDays. It is also not a good secondary site to earn from, in my opinion. There are simply better options out there.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimumPaid with
PayPal$15Cash
Amazon gift card$15Points

You can exchange cash for points, but points cannot be exchanged for cash. Your first payment comes 15 days after the end of the month you requested it.

For sites that pay out fast from a low threshold, see the quick-paying survey sites with a low minimum payout.
