mCrypto App Review: Worth Using? (Pros and Cons Revealed)

mCrypto Rating

mCrypto is not worth your time. It has a very low earning potential because of the limited opportunities and low rewards it offers. That’s a bad combination based on my experience.

I tested the mCrypto app to see if it is worth your time. It pays in crypto from a very low threshold, but the rewards are low and there is not much to do. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit, but not worth your time

Android only. Crypto rewards from 2,900 coins, but very low rewards and few ways to earn.

Good for you ifYou have an Android phone, a crypto wallet, and you like puzzle games.
Skip it ifYou use an iPhone, you want cash or PayPal, or you want to earn a decent amount in a reasonable time.

The short answer

mCrypto is a legit GPT app that rewards you with crypto for playing games and more. But being legit does not automatically make it worth your while.

The rewards are low and the earning opportunities are limited. That is a bad combination. In my opinion, mCrypto is not worth your time. It takes a long time to reach even the small threshold, and you only get crypto, not cash.

What I like
  • Available more or less globally
  • Very low threshold: 2,900 coins ($0.30 in crypto)
  • Easy app without annoying pop-up ads
  • Choice of USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin and Ripple
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards
  • Limited earning opportunities for a GPT app
  • Doesn’t offer cash rewards
  • Android only, no iOS app
  • Offers pay slightly less than the same offers on other GPT apps

My experience with mCrypto

I installed mCrypto and went through everything the app offers. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is mCrypto legit and safe?

Yes, mCrypto is legit, because it really does pay. But that does not automatically make it worth your while. Here is what you should know.

  • Low rewards

The rewards are very low compared to other apps and sites that offer the same kind of earning opportunities. The offers you find here are also on other GPT apps, where they pay slightly more.

  • A lot of time per game

You need to spend a lot of time to complete all the tasks in a featured game. Some game tasks also cost money to complete, but you are not required to do those.

  • Crypto only

mCrypto does not offer cash rewards. You need a crypto wallet, and if you are new to crypto, read up on how to withdraw to your wallet first.

  • Android only

The app only works on Android phones. There is no iOS app and no desktop version.

My takemCrypto is not worth your time, in my opinion. It has a very low earning potential because of the limited opportunities and low rewards it offers. That is a bad combination based on my experience. You are better off investing your time in sites or apps with a significantly higher earning potential.

How you earn on mCrypto

There are 4 ways to earn. Playing games is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Playing gamesMain earner
Featured games on mCrypto

mCrypto has partnered with Playtime for its games. Allow the app to track your data usage first, then tap Play Now to see the featured games. Always open a game from your My Apps list, or mCrypto cannot track your progress.

You earn coins for tasks such as reaching a certain level or milestone. Some tasks cost money, but you do not have to do those. When I tested it, all the featured games were puzzle games. That can be fun if you love puzzles, but it gets boring because there is little variety.

Paid offersSlightly lower rewards

You unlock paid offers after you have played one featured game. Most offers ask you to play mobile games, and some ask you to answer surveys.

The offers on mCrypto are also on other GPT apps and sites, where they pay slightly more. So this is not the most efficient way to earn.

Scratch cardsBonus coins
mCrypto Scratch & Win cards

You win a reward in coins every time you scratch a card. You get one free card when you start. After that, you get a new card by playing a featured game for at least one minute.

Referral program1,000 coins + 5%
mCrypto referral program

You get 1,000 coins when someone joins through your invite link and finishes signing up, plus a 5% commission every time they earn. mCrypto is not an app I would recommend to my friends, though.

How much can you make?

You will not earn a lot from mCrypto. The rewards vary by country, but on average they are low compared to other apps and sites with the same kind of earning opportunities.

You also need to spend a lot of time to complete all the tasks in a featured game, so you do not earn efficiently. Even with the low threshold, it takes some time to reach it. And when you do, you only get $0.30 of the crypto you choose.

Payout methods and minimums

mCrypto does not pay in cash. The payout system is straightforward if you are used to crypto transactions. If you prefer to earn cash, see the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.

  1. Honestly, I thought this was really well done. Super clear, easy to read, and actually made me think. Even if it’s not brand new info, the way it’s presented just works. Great job putting this together.
