Maholla App Review: Worth It? (Pros and Cons Revealed)

Maholla Rating

Maholla is not a bad GPT app. However, it is also not good enough to warrant your time. It can serve as a mediocre secondary app to earn from at best, in my opinion.

I tested the Maholla app to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, and the app is easy to use, but there are few ways to earn and the rewards are low. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

The short answer

Maholla is a legit GPT app. You can get paid for the surveys, offers and games it has, and the app is easy to use.

But the earning opportunities are limited and the rewards are low, so it takes a long time just to reach the $5 payout threshold. It can serve as a mediocre secondary app at best, in my opinion.

What I like
  • The app is user-friendly
  • Offers payment via PayPal
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • Quick sign-up with Google, Apple or email
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Low rewards
  • Mobile only, no desktop version
  • The referral program pays little

Is Maholla legit and safe?

Yes, Maholla is legit. Members can get paid for the opportunities it offers. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Few ways to earn

When I tested the app, there were not many surveys, and fewer paid offers than on more popular GPT apps. So you might not be able to earn from it regularly.

  • Low rewards

The rewards are a bit low compared to more popular GPT sites and apps. You have to invest a lot of time just to reach the $5 threshold.

  • Some game milestones cost money

Some game milestones ask you to make in-game purchases. They offer the highest rewards, but not all of them are worth it. Choose carefully.

  • Open games from the Active list

Always open a game from the Active list in the Arcade section, not from your phone’s menu. Otherwise Maholla cannot track your progress, and you do not get the reward.

My takeMaholla is not a bad GPT app, in my opinion. However, it is also not good enough to warrant your time. It can serve as a mediocre secondary app to earn from at best. Its biggest drawbacks are the limited earning opportunities and the low rewards.

Maholla has few ways to earn and low rewards. The top sites in your country pay a lot more.

How you earn on Maholla

There are 4 ways to earn. None of them pays a lot. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysFew surveys

When you log in, you see all the surveys you can answer. First you answer qualifying questions. If you qualify, you get to answer the survey. If not, you move on to the next one.

When I tested the app, there weren’t many surveys available. Survey availability depends on your location, so there might be more in your country.

Paid offersFewer than most apps
Maholla paid offers

Offers are short tasks, like playing a mobile game or signing up for a website or app. Each offer has requirements. When you meet them, you get the promised reward.

Compared to more popular GPT apps, Maholla seems to have fewer paid offers.

Playing gamesPer milestone
Maholla games

Go to the Arcade section, pick a game and install it. It then appears on the Active list. Always open the game from the Active list, so Maholla can track your progress.

You earn when you reach milestones, usually a certain level. Some milestones ask for in-game purchases. Which games you see depends on your location, and some countries have none.

Referral program$0.50 per cashout
Maholla referral program

Share your invite link. When a friend installs the app and registers, they become your referral. You get $0.50 when your referral cashes out, and another $0.50 the second time. It is simple, but the rewards are not that high.

How much can you make?

It can take quite a while to earn a significant amount from Maholla. The earning opportunities are limited, and the number of them pales in comparison to the more popular GPT apps and sites.

I cannot say an exact amount per survey or offer, because rates vary. But compared to more popular GPT sites and apps, the rewards are a bit low. So its earning potential is low, in my opinion.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$5Cash to your PayPal account
Gift cards$5The gift cards you can redeem change over time

The payout system is simple, and I like that it offers PayPal. If you want more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Devices, joining and support

Maholla is mobile only, so you need your phone to earn. The app works on Android and iOS. It is easy to use, and the user experience is quite decent, which is the best thing about the app, in my opinion.

Maholla does not say which countries it is available in, but from what I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. Install the app, open it, and register with your email, Google or Apple account. It takes less than a minute.
