Ethnic Voice Accord has closed
The Ethnic Voice Accord website no longer opens for members (it only returns an error), and as far as I can tell the panel has closed. You cannot join or earn on it now. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.
Ethnic Voice Accord (EVA) was a Canadian survey panel for ethnic and newly landed Canadians. It has now closed. I joined and answered its surveys before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.
Ethnic Voice Accord has closed
Ethnic Voice Accord has closed, so you can no longer earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, but surveys were few and the threshold was $25.

The short answer
Ethnic Voice Accord has closed. Its website no longer opens for members, so you can no longer join or earn there.
When it was running, it was legit. You could really earn rewards from the surveys you answered, the rewards were decent, and you got a $2 joining bonus. But there were not many surveys, the threshold was $25, and the website was not clear on how it paid you. In my opinion, it was a mediocre survey site.
- Offered decent rewards
- Offered an opportunity to shape government policies
- $2 joining bonus
- The member dashboard was mobile-friendly
- Ethnic Voice Accord has closed
- Limited earning opportunities
- High payout threshold: $25
- Not clear on how its payout system worked
- Survey quotas filled up quickly
- Only for people in Canada
My experience with Ethnic Voice Accord
I joined Ethnic Voice Accord when it was running and answered its surveys, but I never reached the payout threshold. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

- The referral program and the contact form

Was Ethnic Voice Accord legit and safe?
Ethnic Voice Accord has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, because you could really earn rewards from the surveys you answered. These were the catches.
- It has closed
The Ethnic Voice Accord website no longer opens for members, so you cannot register, answer surveys or cash out there.
- Few surveys
Surveys were few and far between. The website said you got invites at least once per month, which is a low rate. That severely limited how much you could earn.
- Unclear how you got paid
The website said you got paid in digital Visa gift cards, but its FAQ said you got paid by cheque. I never reached the threshold, so I cannot say for sure which one it used.
- A high $25 threshold
The threshold was high compared to most survey sites. With so few surveys, it took quite a while before you could withdraw.
- Some complaints about support
There were some complaints, for example on Trustpilot, that its support did not respond to queries, especially about payments.
- Quotas filled up quickly
Every survey had a maximum number of participants. From what I saw, that quota usually filled quickly.
My takeEthnic Voice Accord has closed. Even when it was running, it was a mediocre survey site in my opinion: decent rewards, but too few surveys to earn regularly. To earn today, see the top survey sites in Canada below.
How you earned on Ethnic Voice Accord
There were 2 ways to earn. Paid surveys were the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysUp to $5 in my test
When a survey matched your profile, you got an email. You could also log in to the member dashboard to check for surveys.
You clicked the link and first answered questions about your demographics, interests, employment, purchasing behaviors and online usage. If you qualified, you answered the actual survey and got the promised amount in your EVA balance. If you did not qualify, you moved on to the next survey, if there was one.
The topics were geared towards the opinions of ethnic and newly landed Canadians (those who recently moved to Canada). Next to consumer products, you sometimes got surveys about government policies, which was a good thing, in my opinion.
Referral program$5 per friend
The website said you earned $5 for every friend you invited, but it did not explain how it worked.
How much could you make?
It mostly depended on how many surveys you could complete, and there were not many. The amount per survey varied with its length and complexity.
The most I saw during my testing was $5 for a 30-minute (or probably less) survey, which was not a bad rate. But because there were so few surveys, the earning potential was quite low, and you had to be patient to reach $25. If you prefer a low threshold, see the fastest paying sites.
