I tested Coin Pop to see if it is a good way to earn by playing mobile games. It is legit and paid me through PayPal, but the earning potential is very low. Below is my payment proof, how it works, and which game apps I would pick first.
Legit and pays through PayPal, but not worth your time
Android app that pays coins per minute you play featured games. PayPal or gift cards, but the rewards are very low.

The short answer
Coin Pop is legit. It paid me, and I show the payment proof in my video. It is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that gives you coins for every minute you play its featured mobile games, and you cash out through PayPal or gift cards.
But the earning potential is very low. The coins per minute drop the longer you play the same game, and it takes a significant amount of time to earn even $1. It is also only available on Android. In my opinion, it is not worth your time.
- Pays through PayPal, usually within the day
- Available more or less worldwide
- Easy to use, with no annoying pop-up ads
- A low PayPal threshold in most countries
- Referrals earn you a 25% commission
- Very low rewards
- Limited ways to earn
- You earn fewer coins the longer you play one game
- Only on Android
My experience with Coin Pop
I installed Coin Pop, played its featured games, looked at the referral program and cashed out to PayPal. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Coin Pop paid me, but it pays very little for your time. These game apps pay a lot better.

Is Coin Pop legit and safe?
Yes, Coin Pop is legit. It really pays, and I show the payment proof in my video. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Very low rewards
You will not earn a lot from this app. The bonus coins you get when you join make it look better at first. Without them, it takes a significant amount of time to earn even $1.
- Fewer coins the longer you play
Each game shows how many coins you earn per minute, but that number drops the longer you play the same game. Switch to another game when the rewards drop a lot.
- Always open games from “My Apps”
Open each game from the “My Apps” section in Coin Pop. If you open it from your phone’s menu, Coin Pop cannot track your playtime, and you do not get the reward.
- It tracks your app usage
When you sign in, Coin Pop asks you to allow it to track your data usage. You have to allow this, because that is how it measures how long you play.
My takeIn my opinion, Coin Pop is not worth your time. The earning potential of this app is simply too low. It will take a very long time to earn a decent amount from it. You are better off investing your time in other apps/sites that pay better.
How you earn on Coin Pop
There are 2 ways to earn. Playing featured games is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Playing featured gamesCoins per minute
When you log in, you immediately see the featured games. Each one shows how many coins you earn per minute you play. Tap a game to go to its app page, install it, and it shows up in the “My Apps” section of Coin Pop.
Always open the game through “My Apps”, so Coin Pop can track how long you play. There you also see your playtime and the rewards you received for each game.
The coins per minute drop the longer you keep playing a game. Coin Pop gets paid by the developers per person who plays, so it wants you to try more games. To get the most out of it, switch games when the rewards drop a lot.
Referral program100 coins + 25%
Go to the “Friends” section, tap “Invite” and send your invite through a messaging app. When someone registers, you get 100 coins right away, plus a 25% commission every time they earn.
Your referral also gets 25% of what you earn, so it works both ways. It is a decent way to earn passively, but only if you invite people who really want to earn with Coin Pop.

How much can you make?
Not a lot. Keep in mind that you get bonus coins when you join, so your first earnings do not show the true earning potential of Coin Pop. Without them, you earn a lot less.
That is why I would say its earning potential is very low. It takes a significant amount of time to earn even $1, so you are better off spending your time on apps or sites that pay better.
Payout methods, minimum and speed
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | Depends on your location; relatively low in most countries | Usually within the day |
| Gift cards | Depends on the card | Not tested |
Coin Pop uses your local currency for PayPal, and the number of coins you need depends on your location. Which gift cards you can get also depends on where you live.
And it does pay: you can see my Coin Pop payment proof in the video above. If you want more apps that pay through PayPal, see the best sites that pay via PayPal.
