But the app only works on Android, and for now it is mainly worth it if you live in the US. The payout threshold depends on your location and can be high. It can be a fun side hustle, not a full-time income.

Is Snakzy legit and safe?
Yes, Snakzy is legit. It really pays, and I was able to withdraw my earnings. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Android only, and mainly for the US
Snakzy is mobile-only and only works on Android. It is available in many countries, but for now it is mainly worth it if you live in the US.
- Some challenges ask for in-game purchases
These challenges usually pay the most, and the purchase can help you progress faster. But make your own calculations before you spend money on a challenge.
- Each game has a time limit
You can only earn from a game for a limited number of days. Snakzy shows how many days are left, so finish the challenges as quickly as you can.
- Cashouts can go on hold
In November 2025, a reader wrote that their cashouts went on hold each time, and they had to wait several days for support before they could cash out. I was able to withdraw my earnings.
- The threshold depends on where you live
The number of coins you need varies by location and currency. For me, the PayPal threshold was €21, which is a bit high.
My takeIn my opinion, Snakzy is better than most other apps that offer the same kind of opportunity. It pays more, but you will not be able to earn much from it, so temper your expectations. If you are okay with that, it can be a great way to pass the time and earn some cash at the same time.
How you earn on Snakzy
There are 3 ways to earn. Playing the featured games is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Playing featured gamesMain earner
Click “Add Game” in the app to see all the games you can play: puzzle, arcade, strategy, simulator, adventure and more. Click one to install it from the app store. It then shows up under “My Games”.
Every game has challenges, usually reaching a certain level or playing for a certain time. Each challenge pays a set number of coins, and each game has a set number of rewards. When you reach it, move on to a new game.
Always open the game from “My Games” in Snakzy, not from your phone’s menu. That is the only way Snakzy can track your progress. You do not earn from games you have played before.
Paid surveysGood pay per survey
Snakzy recently added surveys. You answer qualifying questions first. If you qualify, you take the survey and get the promised reward. If not, move on to the next one.
There was always a decent number of surveys in my testing, and they pay a good amount. You just have to be patient, because you will not always qualify.
Daily tasksSmall bonus
Simple tasks that reward you for being active in the app. They pay less than the games, but complete them all to get the most out of Snakzy. Use them as your checklist when you log in.

How much can you make?
Whatever you earn from Snakzy will not come close to a full-time job. How much you earn depends on how much time you spend in the app.
Compared to other apps with the same kind of opportunity, Snakzy pays quite a decent amount, so I would call its earning potential good for a paid-to-play app.
What I really like is that the more active you are, the more earning opportunities and bonuses you get. Some apps do it the other way around: you earn a lot at first, and once you are hooked, you can hardly earn anything.

All earning methods pay in coins. I prefer clear cash, so PayPal is the best option, in my opinion. The threshold has changed a lot since I first tested it, and it still depends on your location.
