I tested the Cheelee app, which rewards you for watching short videos. It is very hard to earn from it, and you must spend money on NFT glasses to keep earning. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Not recommended: you must spend money, and earnings are not guaranteed
Watch short videos with NFT glasses to earn LEE tokens. Free glasses earn little, and the payout is confusing.

The short answer
I do not recommend Cheelee. You can earn LEE tokens by watching short videos, but it is very hard to earn from it, even though you must spend money to keep earning.
You need NFT glasses to earn, and the free pair only earns a small amount. You do not earn from every video, the glasses wear out, and your watch time runs out. There is a high chance you lose money instead of earning. The payout is also confusing.
- You get a free pair of glasses to start
- Some readers report earning from it
- You must spend money to keep earning
- No guaranteed earnings: you do not earn from every video
- Glasses lose durability, and watch time runs out
- Cash withdrawal only to a Kazakhstan bank in my test
- No guidance on moving LEE tokens to a crypto wallet
My experience with Cheelee
I installed Cheelee, equipped the free glasses and watched videos to earn. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

My Cheelee test on video
I made a video that gives you an inside look and shows exactly how you can earn from Cheelee.

Cheelee at a glance
| What it is | Mobile app that rewards you for watching short videos (reels) |
|---|---|
| Cost | A free pair of glasses worth $5 to start. To keep earning, you must buy glasses: around $6 for the cheapest I found, more than $200 for the rarest. |
| Ways to earn | Watching videos with NFT glasses, and referrals |
| Currency | LEE tokens, Cheelee’s own digital currency |
| Earning limits | Glasses lose durability, and your watch time has to regenerate |
| Payout | Cash in KZT to a bank in Kazakhstan (in my test), or transfer LEE tokens to a crypto wallet that supports them, like Binance |
| Referral reward | $1 to $100 when your referral buys glasses |
| Support | Generic replies to reviews on its Google Play page |
Is Cheelee legit and safe?
You can earn LEE tokens on Cheelee, but there are red flags you should know about before you install it, and certainly before you spend money on it.
- No guaranteed earnings
You do not earn from every video you watch. There seems to be an element of chance. Cheelee promises you can earn back what you spend on glasses, but there is a high chance you lose money instead.
- You must spend money to keep earning
The free glasses only earn a small amount. When glasses hit 0 durability, you cannot use them anymore and must buy new ones from the marketplace.
- An unusual payout method
The app used KZT, Kazakhstan’s currency, and only let me withdraw cash to a bank in Kazakhstan, even though I do not live anywhere near it. The other option is to move your LEE tokens to a crypto wallet, but the app does not guide you.
- Withdrawal complaints
When I checked its Google Play page in 2024, most complaints were about not being able to withdraw, and they got generic replies. Later in 2024, a reader told me he had withdrawn some LEE with no problems.
- Limited watch time
Your glasses come with a set watch time. When it runs out, you have to wait for it to regenerate, so you cannot watch videos all day.
My takeIf it’s not quite clear yet, I don’t recommend you download Cheelee because you will only be wasting your time and potentially your money. It is very hard to earn from it, even though you must spend money to keep earning.
Cheelee makes you spend money without guaranteed earnings. These sites in your country pay without that risk.

There are 2 ways to earn. Watching videos is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Watching videosNot guaranteed
When you log in, you go straight to the Watch section with short videos from other members. Before you earn, you must equip Cheelee glasses, an NFT, in the Glasses section. You start with a pair worth $5.
The rarer the glasses, the more you earn. You can set a strategy for each pair: Stability earns small amounts regularly, Lucky earns up to three times the normal reward but less often, and Mix (the default) combines both.
Glasses lose durability, and you have a set watch time that has to regenerate. When I tested it, I earned a reward for the first video, and the next one only after more than 20 videos. I lost 15% of the durability of my glasses when I earned three rewards.
Referral program$1 to $100
Share your invite link. You only earn when your referral buys Cheelee glasses: $1 for common glasses, up to $100 for legendary glasses.
That makes it quite hard to earn from, because the people you invite must be willing to spend money. It is not something I would recommend to my friends.
How much can you make?
The free glasses only let you earn a small amount. Think of it as a free taste of what the app offers. To keep earning, you must buy glasses, and there are many factors to consider: the rarity of the glasses, durability, watch time and strategy.
That makes it a poor earning opportunity, in my opinion, with a high chance that you lose money instead of earning.
How you get paid
You earn LEE tokens, Cheelee’s own digital currency. The app lets you convert them to cash, but when I tested it, it showed KZT, Kazakhstan’s currency, and the only cash option was a withdrawal to a bank in Kazakhstan. I am not sure if this depends on your country.
You can also transfer your LEE tokens to a crypto wallet that supports them, like Binance. The app does not guide you on how to do this, so if you are new to crypto, it can be hard to figure out.

Not a big income, but anyway. If you buy glasses it becomes easier to earn money, but of course you sbe active. It hard to imagine that you do almost nothing and get money. So, patience and time and everything is possible. I have already withdrawn some lee, no problems
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Yes, you can earn but there are just many better ways to earn, and that is why I do not see a point in using Cheelee with what it currently offers.
