I tested Cash Raven to see if sharing your internet connection with it is worth it. It is legit and fully passive, but it only runs on one Android phone and the cashout starts at $15. Below is what I found, and which passive apps I recommend instead.

Cash Raven is legit. It pays you $0.10 per gigabyte of unused internet you share, and you do nothing except let the app run. You cash out through PayPal or bank transfer.
But it only works on Android, there is no account, and the threshold is $15. If you uninstall the app, your earnings are gone, and it drains your battery. I prefer other bandwidth-sharing apps.

My experience with Cash Raven
I installed Cash Raven on Android, ran it in the background and went through its settings and payout options. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Cash Raven legit and safe?
Yes, Cash Raven is legit. You really get paid for sharing your connection. But it has limits you should know about.
- Uninstall the app and your earnings are gone
There is no registration, so your earnings live on the device. If you uninstall the app, you lose everything and start from scratch. You cannot use one account on several devices.
- It drains your battery
The app uses your battery fairly quickly, even with battery saving on. Turn battery saving on when you take your phone out of the house.
- Mobile data costs you
By default, the app only runs on Wi-Fi. You can allow mobile data to earn more, but only do that if you have an unlimited data plan.
- Several devices on one network do not add up
Cash Raven looks at your IP address. Devices on the same Wi-Fi share one IP, so they split the earnings. Install it on devices on different networks instead, for example one at home and one at the office.
My takeIn my opinion, Cash Raven can be a way to earn a bit, and it is great because it allows you to earn passively. Personally, I’m a fan of this kind of earning method because it doesn’t require any effort to earn. However, I prefer to use other platforms to earn this way as there are many better options, in my opinion.

Install the app on an Android device, open it and press the power button. It then runs in the background and shares your unused connection with Cash Raven’s business customers. It only shares when your device is idle, and pauses when you use it.
With battery saving on, you earn less. With it off, you earn more but your battery drains faster. Allowing mobile data also earns more. When I tested it, the download page had a Windows section, but the link did not work, so you cannot earn on a computer.
How much can you make?
It depends mostly on your country, because Cash Raven’s customers need data from some countries more than others. Your internet speed and the number of IP addresses you can run it on also matter.
The per-GB rate is nearly the same as on Honeygain, so the earning potential is relatively decent for this kind of app. The real appeal is that you do not have to do anything.
