I tested the Cash Mafia app to see if its games, surveys and tasks are worth your time. It is legit, but the rewards are low: a survey or task usually pays a few cents. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.
Legit, but the rewards are too low to be worth your time
Games, surveys, tasks and videos on Android. PayPal from $1 (7,000 coins), but a task usually pays a few cents.

The short answer
Cash Mafia is legit: it really pays you for playing games, answering surveys, completing tasks and watching videos. You cash out from $1 to PayPal, and it is available more or less worldwide.
But the rewards are low. 7,000 coins are only worth $1, and a survey or task usually pays around 500 to 700 coins, so you earn a few cents per task. It is Android only, and there is no Help or FAQ page.
- Available more or less worldwide
- Offers convenient payout options, like PayPal from $1
- Several ways to earn: games, surveys, tasks, videos
- Easy to use, without annoying pop-up ads
- Low rewards: a few cents per survey or task
- No FAQ or Help page
- Android only
- Playing games pays less the longer you play

Is Cash Mafia legit and safe?
Yes, Cash Mafia is legit: it really pays you for the earning opportunities it offers. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Low rewards
7,000 coins are worth $1, and a survey or task usually pays around 500 to 700 coins. So you earn a few cents per task, and even the $1 threshold takes time to reach.
- Games pay less the longer you play
You earn coins per minute you play, but the coins per minute keep dropping the longer you play the same game. Move on to the next game when the rewards drop.
- Surveys pay less than on other apps
Cash Mafia has a decent number of survey providers, but the rewards are slightly lower than on other GPT sites and apps with the same surveys. Survey coins can also take a while to show up.
- Android only, no Help page
There is no iPhone app, and no Help or FAQ page. For questions, you email support through the Get Help link.
My takeCash Mafia is not a bad GPT app, in my opinion. However, it’s also not great. It simply doesn’t offer enough reasons to warrant your time. There are better options out there if you want to earn extra cash.
Cash Mafia is legit, but a task pays a few cents. These apps and sites pay better for your time.

There are 5 ways to earn. Surveys pay the most per task, and tasks are the most common. Tap one to read more.
Playing gamesPer minute, drops over time
Go to the Games section and enable the “Usage Access” setting; the app guides you through it. Pick a game, install it, and always open it from inside Cash Mafia, not from your phone’s menu, so the app can track how long you play.
You earn coins for every minute you play, but the coins per minute keep getting lower the longer you play the same game. There is a decent number of games to choose from, so move on when the rewards drop. Even so, you only earn a small number of coins per minute.
Paid surveysMost rewards
Go to the Surveys section and pick a survey provider. The first time, you complete your profile. You then answer a few qualifying questions; if you do not qualify, you move on to the next survey.
There is a decent number of survey providers, and surveys pay the most of all the earning opportunities in the app. But the rewards are slightly lower than on other GPT sites and apps with the same surveys, and the coins can take a while to show up.
TasksMost common
Tasks are what other GPT apps call paid offers. In the Tasks section, you find a decent number of offerwalls. Most tasks ask you to answer surveys and quizzes, play games, install apps or sign up for free trials. Read the instructions carefully, because if you miss one step, you do not get the reward.
Most tasks pay less than surveys, and the higher-paying ones take time. But tasks are the most common way to earn on Cash Mafia, so most of your earnings will come from them.
Watching videosVery small
In the Watch Video section, you pick a video provider, like Loot.TV. You are paid for the ads that come with the videos, and you earn a small number of coins per video. Only do this if you have nothing else to do.
Referral program10% for one month
Share your invite link. When someone installs the app through it and completes the registration, you earn 10% of their earnings for the first month. That is not as profitable as the referral programs of other GPT apps.
How much can you make?
It depends on how active you are, but the earning opportunities do not pay well. The reward for surveys and tasks varies by country. Most of the time, you can expect around 500 to 700 coins; at least, that is the case in the country where I tested it.
That might seem like a lot, but 7,000 coins are only worth $1. So you earn a few cents per task or survey, and you have to invest a lot of time to earn a decent amount.
Payout method and minimum
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| PayPal | $1 (7,000 coins) |
You convert your coins to rewards that depend on the country you live in. The most common option is PayPal, which is available in more or less all countries. The threshold looks very low, but the number of coins you need is high, so it still takes time to cash out. If you want more apps with a convenient payment method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
