ByteLixir Review – Is it Legit? (Details Explained)

ByteLixir Rating

ByteLixir is not a bad site to earn from because it offers a passive form of earning. Its main drawback is that its payout methods are not very flexible because it only offers crypto payments.

I tested ByteLixir and made a video of how you earn from it. It is legit, and it lets you earn passively by sharing your internet, but it only pays in crypto and only runs on Windows and Android. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit passive earning, but crypto only and limited devices

You earn per gigabyte of internet you share. Crypto payouts from $5, Windows and Android only, and earnings depend on demand where you live.

Good for you ifYou are used to crypto, use Windows or Android, and live in a high-demand region like the US, Europe or Australia.
Skip it ifYou want cash or PayPal, you use iOS or a Mac, or you live where demand for bandwidth is low.

The short answer

ByteLixir is legit: you really get paid to share your internet bandwidth, and it is available more or less worldwide. It is quite similar to Pawns.

But it only pays in crypto, it only works on Windows and Android, and you only earn when there is demand for bandwidth in your region. If you want cash, other passive income apps are a better fit.

What I like
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • Offers a passive form of earning
  • The app is relatively easy to use
  • A 50% commission on what your referrals earn
  • Several ways to contact support
What I don’t like
  • Payout methods are not very flexible: crypto only
  • Only works on Windows and Android
  • You only earn when there is demand in your region
  • The app drains your phone’s battery quickly
  • Only one device per public IP address earns

My experience with ByteLixir

Is ByteLixir legit and safe?

Yes, ByteLixir is legit, since you really get paid to share your internet bandwidth. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Crypto payouts only

You cannot get paid in cash. To spend your earnings as cash, you have to convert your crypto, which is an added hassle. If you are new to crypto, do some research on crypto transactions first.

  • You only earn when there is demand

Demand for your bandwidth depends on your location and the time. Don’t be surprised if the app runs in the background and you are not earning anything.

  • One device per IP address, and battery drain

You only earn from one device per public IP address. The Android app drains your battery quickly, and you should turn off battery saving to earn the most.

  • KYC for some features

Some features, like an unlimited withdrawal amount per day, are unlocked when you complete the KYC check with a photo of a government-issued ID.

My takeByteLixir is not a bad site to earn from because it offers a passive form of earning. Its main drawback is that its payout methods are not very flexible because it only offers crypto payments. So, if you are looking to earn cash, you’ll have to convert your crypto earnings to cash, which is an added hassle, in my opinion.

ByteLixir only pays in crypto. Most of the top sites in your country pay in cash.

How you earn on ByteLixir

There are 2 ways to earn. Sharing your bandwidth is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Sharing your internet bandwidth$0.68 to $0.85 per GB
How to earn from ByteLixir

Install the software on a Windows or Android device, set it up and let it run in the background. When there is demand in your region, it starts sharing your bandwidth, and you see your earnings in the dashboard.

You are paid per gigabyte you share: $0.85 on a mobile network and $0.68 on home internet, according to the website. The rate usually depends on your location.

You can install it on several devices, but you only earn from devices with different public IP addresses. Most members install it on their computer and their phone, because the phone uses the mobile carrier’s network.

Referral program50% commission
ByteLixir referral program

Share your referral link. People who sign up through it get a $1 joining bonus, and you get a 50% commission on what they earn by sharing their bandwidth.

It is a good way to earn passively, but only if the people you invite really use ByteLixir.

How much can you make?

It depends on your location, the type of connection and the number of public IP addresses you use. You earn the most in the US, Europe, some parts of South America and Australia.

In areas with low demand, don’t expect to earn a significant amount quickly. In a high-demand region, with devices on several public IP addresses, you can earn a significant amount quickly.

Overall, its earning potential is not that great if you live where demand is not high. In the US, Europe or Australia, it is quite decent.

How you get paid

NetworkMinimum
BSC$5
Polygon$5
Tron$10

You convert your earnings to crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron or USDT. The minimum depends on the network you use. A reader confirmed in October 2025 that the lower $2 minimum is gone.

ByteLixir only pays in crypto. If you prefer cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Devices, joining and support

ByteLixir runs on Windows and Android. If you use iOS, see the best money-making apps for iOS instead. The Android app is relatively easy to use, but it drains your battery quickly, so pick the times you use it carefully.

ByteLixir is available more or less worldwide. The only countries it is not available in are Iran, Myanmar, Palestine and the United Arab Emirates.

To sign up, set up your login details and click the confirmation link in the email. Then log in to the dashboard, download the software or app, and set it up.

For help, check the FAQ first. It covers most of the important topics. You can also use the contact form, Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, email or its social media pages.

A reader let me know that the minimum is now $10 on Tron and $5 on BSC, and that the $2 payout is gone. This review shows the new minimums.
