Axion charges $5 to $10 to join its waiting list. That does not mean it cannot be worth it, but you should know before you pay.
I took an inside look at Axion Data Entry Services to see if its data entry work is worth applying for. It is legit, but there is little work, it is US only, and you pay a fee just to get on the waiting list. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Axion Data Entry Services is a legit site that pays you for data entry projects. You work as an independent data entry operator, you set your own schedule, and you are paid by direct bank transfer with no payout threshold.
But there are not a lot of projects, so you cannot earn on a regular basis. It only accepts US residents, the registration is very long, and you have to pay a fee of $5 to $10 just to be placed on the waiting list. I would not pay for that. The best data entry sites are a better place to start.

Is Axion Data Entry Services legit and safe?
Yes, Axion Data Entry Services is legit and pays you for data entry projects, and you do not have to worry about data entry scams on the website. But that does not make it a good opportunity. Here is what you should know before you apply.
- You pay a fee to get on the waiting list
Axion is not always accepting new applicants, so most applicants are placed on a waiting list. To be placed on it, you pay $5 to $10, depending on how long you want to stay on the list. The site says this deters scammers. This is the first time I have seen a site ask for a fee to be placed on a waiting list. Personally, I would not pay for it.
- There are few projects
Axion assigns projects to you from time to time, and you have no control over how many you get. From what I can gather, there are not a lot of projects, so you cannot expect to earn regularly.
- A long registration and a background check
You fill out a form, submit your resume and wait for a review. If you are accepted, you also have to allow a criminal background investigation before you can start.
- A slow first payment
You track your own forms and send Axion an invoice. Your first payment takes about six weeks, because of a 28-day waiting period. After that, you are paid every two weeks.
- US only, and hard to reach
Axion only accepts US residents and often blocks visitors from other countries. The site only shows contact details for clients, not for contractors, and I could not find support information online.
My takeAxion Data Entry Services is not a bad site to earn extra cash from. But it also does not offer any good reason to go for it. There are not a lot of projects, and it does not help that you have to go through hoops and pay a fee just to be considered as one of its contractors. How you earn on Axion Data Entry Services
There is only one way to earn: data entry projects, as an independent data entry operator.

You first apply as a data entry operator. If you are accepted, you set your own work schedule, and Axion assigns projects to you from time to time. You get an email when a project is available, and you complete it before the deadline to get paid.
As an operator, you enter data from various sources into the Axion database or client portals, transcribe information into the required format, verify the data for accuracy, follow the security and data integrity policies, and talk to project managers when needed.
Most projects are forms that take only a couple of minutes, and they usually pay around $0.05 to $0.10 per form. From time to time, you get longer forms that can take up to an hour. They pay $5 to $9, but they are few and far between.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many projects you can complete, and you do not really have any control over how many projects are sent your way.
The rates are relatively decent for data entry work. But from what I can gather, there are not a lot of projects available, so you cannot expect to earn regularly from this site.
That is why I would say the earning potential is not that good. If you want data entry work, apply to other data entry jobs as well to get more opportunities.

Who can apply, and how
Axion only accepts applicants who live in the US. In many cases, the website even blocks you from visiting it if you do not live in the US.
To apply, you fill out a form and submit your resume. Axion reviews your application, but it is not always accepting new applicants, so most applicants are placed on a waiting list, for a fee of $5 to $10. If you are accepted, you also go through a criminal background investigation.
You can visit the website on your phone, because it is optimized for mobile use. But to do the work, you need a laptop or desktop. On a phone you are less efficient and make more typing errors, and speed and accuracy are what matter most in data entry.
