I tested WiFi Mine, an Android app that claims to reward you for using its WiFi tools and doing simple tasks. In reality, you mostly watch ads, and it never becomes clear how you get paid. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.
Mostly ads, and no clear way to cash out
A $20 bonus and easy rewards, but mostly ads. The app does not explain how to cash out, and the lowest threshold I saw was $50.

The short answer
WiFi Mine is not an app worth using. It looks appealing at first: you get a $20 joining bonus, and claiming rewards is easy. But every time you click something, a pop-up ad appears. In essence, all you will be doing is watching ads.
The app does not explain how you can withdraw your earnings, and the lowest threshold I saw was $50. As you get close to it, the rewards suddenly become very low. You will only be wasting your time, because you will not earn anything from it.
- None. I could not find a good reason to use it.
- The app is very spammy: an ad after every click
- Not transparent about how you get paid
- Unrealistic rewards, like a $20 joining bonus
- Very high payout threshold, and rewards drop as you get close to it
My experience with WiFi Mine
I installed WiFi Mine, claimed rewards, looked at the tasks and dug into the withdrawal section. I also made a video that gives you an inside look. This is what I tested, and what I did not test.
- First tested
- June 2026Review first published Jun 8, 2026
- Latest retest
- Checked: rewards, tasks, withdrawal section
- Ads
- After every clickUsually 30 seconds to 1 minute each
- Lowest threshold I saw
- $50For a reward I did not recognize
- Claiming rewards with the “Claim” button
- The tasks, like “Speed Test Reward” and “WiFi Security Reward”
- The $20 joining bonus
- The withdrawal section and its thresholds
- A payout. The app does not explain how you can withdraw, and my review does not show a payment from WiFi Mine.

Is WiFi Mine legit and safe?
In my opinion, WiFi Mine is not an app worth using. These are the red flags I found while testing it.
- No clear way to get paid
The withdrawal section shows how much your coins are worth, but it does not explain how you can withdraw them. It even shows ads. In all my years of testing, the apps that show ads in their payout section are the problematic ones.
- Rewards drop near the threshold
The lowest threshold I saw was $50. As you get closer to it, the app suddenly offers very low rewards, so it is nearly impossible to reach it. Many users complain about this on the app’s Google Play page. It is a classic bait-and-switch.
- Unrealistic rewards
You get a $20 joining bonus right after installing. If the app really paid that, it would go bankrupt in hours. High rewards like this are designed to keep you hooked, so you keep watching ads.
- Very spammy
Almost every click opens a pop-up ad, and you have to wait for it to finish before you can continue. Most of the ads are for get-rich-quick schemes that you should ignore.
My takeWiFi Mine keeps on earning from the ads you watch, but you won’t. You’ll only be wasting your time, because you won’t earn anything from it. It has a lot of red flags, which is pretty common for a problematic app, based on my experience.
These sites tell you up front how you get paid.

There are 2 ways to earn, and both come down to watching ads. Tap one to read more.
Claiming rewardsCoins
You click the “Claim” button when it is black. It then turns white, and a pop-up ad appears. You have to wait for the ad to finish before you get back to the app and receive your coins.
This is the most annoying part of the app, in my opinion. All you will really be doing is watching ads.
TasksCoins
Tasks like “Speed Test Reward” and “WiFi Security Reward” are confusing. I am not sure why an app would reward you for doing a speed test. When you click any task, you have to watch an ad again.
In essence, the tasks are designed to give you a reason to watch an ad. That is how the app earns: advertisers pay it per view.
How you get paid
| What the app shows | What I found |
|---|---|
| Your balance in coins and dollars | No explanation of how to withdraw it |
| Rewards with a payout threshold | The lowest was $50, for something I did not recognize |
| Generous rewards | They become very low as you get close to the threshold |
