I tested Try & Review to see if its free product tests are worth your time. It is legit and pleasant to use, but you get products, not cash, and you will not be chosen often. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend if you want to earn.
Legit for free products, but no cash and few tests
Apply for product tests, keep the products and review them. Shipping is free. No cash rewards or gift cards.

The short answer
Try & Review is legit. It is a consumer review and product testing platform, founded in Singapore, that really lets members test products and share feedback with brands and other consumers. It is very transparent, and the user experience is relatively pleasant.
But it does not pay cash, or even gift cards. All you get are free products. There are not many product tests, and you can consider yourself lucky if you get chosen more than once a month. If you want to earn extra cash, this is not for you.
- Has a user-friendly app
- Shoulders the shipping of products you test
- Reimburses you when a test asks you to buy the product
- Very transparent about how it works
- Doesn’t offer cash rewards
- Limited testing opportunities
- Hard to get chosen for a test
- Only available in some countries

Is Try & Review legit and safe?
Yes, Try & Review is legit, because it really lets members test products and share feedback. But it is not a way to earn cash. Here is what you should know before you join.
- No cash, only products
There is no cash payment for completing product tests, not even gift cards. The reward is the free product.
- You will not be chosen often
Qualifying for a test is not easy. You can consider yourself lucky if you get chosen more than once a month. If you do not hear back within a week, you were not chosen.
- It asks for personal details
Your profile includes your home address, so it can ship you products, and links to your Facebook and Instagram profiles.
- Some tests ask you to buy the product
From time to time, a test asks you to buy the product first. Try & Review then reimburses you through Payoneer, so you need a Payoneer account.
- Only in some countries
The language menu lists 19 countries, but the FAQ says Try & Review is only available in 17. If your country is not in the language menu, it might not be available to you.
My takeIn my opinion, Try & Review is not a bad product testing platform. If your goal is just to get free products, this can be one of the more decent sites to join. It’s very transparent, and the user experience it provides is relatively pleasant. Just bear in mind that the product testing opportunities are not that many, so temper your expectations about how often you can get free stuff.
How you get free products on Try & Review
There is one way to get rewarded: product tests. The Tribe loyalty program helps you get chosen. Tap one to read more.
Product testsFree products
Go to the Tests section of the member dashboard to see all ongoing product tests. Click “Apply Now” on a product you want to test, and fill out the qualification survey as honestly as possible.
If you get chosen, you receive an email. In my testing, it should not take more than a couple of days to hear back if you are selected. The email includes the date the product will be shipped to your address. Shipping is covered, so you do not pay anything.
The tests are mainly in beauty and skincare, personal care, home products, baby products, food and electronics. When I tested the platform, there were around 7 ongoing tests. That is a decent number, but qualifying for one will not be easy.
Try & Review TribeBetter chances
The loyalty program rewards members who actively contribute reviews and content. You join automatically when you earn your first badge. You earn badges by writing product reviews, uploading photos or videos, completing surveys, participating in product tests and linking your social media account.
The main benefit is more visibility and better chances of being selected. So do not ignore the Review section: by writing more product reviews, you have a better chance of qualifying for product tests.
