Is Survey Police Legit? (Learn the Full Truth)

Survey Police Rating

Survey Police is not an actual survey site – but it is also very honest about this. You can become a member, but you cannot take any surveys on the site. It has both good and bad sides.

Survey Police is not a survey site. It is a site that reviews survey sites, and you cannot earn on it. I checked it out as a member to see how trustworthy its information is. Below is what I found, and where to find actual survey sites.

The short answer

Survey Police is legit, but it is not a survey site. It is a survey review site that has existed since 2005. It is not affiliated with any law enforcement agency. You cannot take surveys or earn money on it.

It only lists legit survey sites, its list is huge, and you can read most of it without joining. But the info is mostly superficial, the country lists are very poor, and user reviews can give a distorted picture. Unless you want to leave reviews, there is no need to join.

What I like
  • Only lists legit survey panels
  • A very big list of survey sites
  • Free, and most info is available without joining
  • Honest about what it offers
What I don’t like
  • Not a survey site: you cannot earn on it
  • The info can be superficial
  • Country-specific lists are very poor
  • User reviews are short and can be manipulated
  • The blog seems written to promote offers

My experience with Survey Police

I have tested hundreds of survey sites and taken thousands of paid surveys, so I have naturally come across Survey Police. I became a member and went through what it offers. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Survey Police legit and trustworthy?

Yes, Survey Police is legit. It only recommends legit survey sites, you can see most info without joining, and it is free. But it has some flaws you should know about.

  • The info can be superficial

There is a lot of info, a lot of blog posts and a lot of reviews, but it is mostly factual and lacks the depth and details to be really helpful. The blog does not seem to be written by people who take paid surveys themselves.

  • Country lists are very poor

The country lists seem autogenerated. When I checked the Philippines, I got a very long list, but most of the sites were not available there. You can waste a lot of time trying to join them.

  • User reviews can give a distorted picture

Reviews are very short. Companies can hire people to leave very positive reviews, and people more often write when they are upset. This goes for all review sites with user reviews, not only Survey Police.

  • A reader was asked to change a review

In 2020, a reader wrote that Survey Police asked them to change their comments about a survey site. Keep this in mind when you read the reviews there.

My takeI think the reviews on Survey Police are trustworthy, but they will very likely not give you the whole truth. You can find some good info on Survey Police, but some of it might be superficial and more meant to sell. If you want quantity, it is probably one of the biggest survey info sites that exist.

What you get on Survey Police

Survey Police has 4 main parts. None of them pay you. Tap one to read more.

Survey site reviewsFree to read
User reviews on Survey Police

You find reviews and basic facts about more or less any survey site that exists. But there is not a lot of in-depth info, and it does not always seem to be written by real survey users.

Members can leave their own reviews. This is one of the big selling points, but the reviews are very short and can be manipulated.

Membership and survey trackerFree
Becoming a member of Survey Police

You need to join to leave a review. As a member, you also get a survey tracker: a list where you manually record the panels you use, the surveys you take and what you made.

Recording this is a great idea, but I do not see any point in doing it in Survey Police’s database. I record it in an Excel sheet instead, so I always have access to it.

Blog and newsFree to read

The blog posts news and articles about survey sites. In my opinion, it is mostly superficial info meant to get you to join the offers they get paid to promote. There is some good info, but it does not seem to come from someone who takes paid surveys.

Country listsFree to read
A Survey Police country list

You can see which survey sites are available in your country. It is a great idea, but the lists seem to autogenerate and give very poor info. Many of the listed sites are not actually available in the country, and many that are give poor opportunities.

Can you make money on Survey Police?

No. Survey Police does not pay you anything. It is a site that connects you to survey panels, and you earn on those panels.

To earn, join actual survey sites. Paid surveys are not a full-time income, but they are an easy way to make some extra money.

An alternative to Survey Police

The downsides of Survey Police and similar sites are one of the reasons I started PaidFromSurveys.com. When I first looked into taking surveys, it was very hard to find in-depth info.

Survey Police gives a lot of info and only promotes legit opportunities, and it is one of the best sites like this. On PaidFromSurveys.com, I focus on quality over quantity. My country lists are not as long, but they are 100% manually built and researched.

I do not like sites that hide this kind of info behind a login, like PanelPlace. Luckily, Survey Police gives access to a lot of info without logging in. For more tips, read how to avoid survey scams.

  1. I was making a comment about e-Rewards on SurveyPolice. They wrote back stating that I had to change my comments, which I did. So, how truthful is SurveyPolice when they have you do changes to your writings?

    • I did not know they would ask people to change their comments. Did they say why? What were you not allowed to say?

Overall, SurveyPolice is not an official authority as I also mention in the review. It is just a company that has started the site so they can make money from advertisers. I think it is great they only show legit sites on their website, but as I also mention in the review, there is also a lot of the info I do not think is great.

But would be great if you could share a bit more about what they asked you to remove and what explanation they gave?

  2. Thank you for the helpful and in-depth review of Survey Police. I’m glad to see that it is a legit site even though some of the info is superficial.

I like how you went into great detail with how they operate. I am one of those people that like to read as much info about something before joining.

    • Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear you like the info.

I myself also prefer getting as much info as possible before joining any program, so that is why I try to provide as much info as possible for others as well.

      All the best,

  3. Thanks for this review about survey police. It seems like it would be a great place to go if you want to find some legit survey sites to sign up for.

Personally though I don’t see the time doing surveys, as I see I can make much better money doing other things like affiliate marketing.

    • Hi Michael,

Survey Police is a legit place to find a list of survey panels. In my opinion the info is however not the best and it can be confusing.

And you are right that you can make more money by doing affiliate marketing, if you are patient and willing to work hard. Paid surveys are not a way to make a full-time income online like affiliate marketing can be, but it is easy to get started with surveys, anybody can do it, and you will start making a profit from day 1, so it is a great way to make some extra money.

      All the best,
      Mikael

  4. I really don’t like that it provides superficial information. When the information is specific I know what I will do and I just feel more comfortable with it and the country list is also another aspect to think about. However I think I will give it a shot but if it does not work I will start dropshipping.
