PanelPlace Review 2026: Is It Legit? Pros, Cons and My Verdict

PanelPlace Rating

PanelPlace is not as such a survey site or a site where you can earn directly. It just gives you links to other survey sites and other promotional offers. But all the offers it has are legit.

I have been a PanelPlace member for a while to see what it really gives you. It is legit, but it is not a survey site: it only gives you a short list of other sites to join. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Last tested

Legit, but not a survey site, and not worth joining

A survey aggregator that only recommends legit sites. You cannot earn on PanelPlace itself, and the list is short.

Good for you ifYou like the idea of one portal that suggests survey sites for your country.

The short answer

PanelPlace is not a scam. It is free to join, and it only recommends survey sites that are actually legit.

But it is not an actual survey site. It does not send you any surveys, and you cannot earn on it. It gives you a list of survey sites for your country, and you have to join those sites yourself. In my test, the list was very short. I do not see the point in joining. Join the best survey sites in your country directly.

What I like
  • Only recommends legit survey sites
  • Free to join
  • Honest that it is not a survey site and that surveys are not a living
What I don’t like
  • Not an actual survey site, so you cannot earn on it
  • Does not give in-depth information about survey sites
  • Recommends few survey sites compared to the number that exist
  • No reward for inviting friends
  • A confusing mix of recommendations for all kinds of products

Is PanelPlace legit and safe?

Even though I am not a big fan of PanelPlace, it is not a scam site. It is free to join and safe. But that does not mean it is worth joining. Here is what you should know.

  • It is not a survey site

PanelPlace does not send out any surveys. You get a list of survey sites, and you have to go to those sites and register again. Before you join, this might not be very clear, although the information is on the site.

  • The list is short

I have only had a couple of survey sites suggested since I joined. The number depends on your country, but there are many more legit survey sites than PanelPlace shows.

  • The learning part is promotional

PanelPlace says it is a place to learn. In practice, you find promotional offers for courses you can buy, not free courses. PanelPlace earns commissions on them.

  • Expect emails

You get emails from PanelPlace, usually 1 to 3 times a week. Most are reminders to join the sites it suggested.

  • No reward for referrals

You can invite friends, but unlike on most survey sites, you get nothing for it. It is one of the worst referral programs I have seen on sites like this.

My takeTo be honest, I do not really see the point in joining PanelPlace. You have to join as a member just to get access to a list of survey sites, and not even a very elaborate list. It has improved since I first tested it, but it is almost trying to do too much now and is still confusing, in my opinion. I recommend you join the best survey sites in your country directly.

What you get on PanelPlace

PanelPlace gives you 5 things. None of them pays you directly. Tap one to read more.

A list of survey sitesNo pay, a list
A survey site recommended by PanelPlace

After you sign up, you see a list of survey sites available in your country. You then go to those sites and register again. This is what is called a survey aggregator.

The list I got was not very big: only a couple of survey sites, one of them LifePoints Panel. Your list can be different, because it depends on your country.

Compared to other aggregators I have tested, such as Survey Voices, PanelPlace is one of the better ones. It only recommends legit sites, and it is open about not being a survey site.

Survey recommendation emails1–3 a week

Most emails remind you to sign up for the survey panels you have not joined yet. You also get emails about new blog posts and when a new contest starts.

Referral programNo reward

There is an invitation link on the website. Unlike the refer-a-friend options on most survey sites, you get no compensation when a friend joins.

PanelPlace Facebook pageNot active
Example of a PanelPlace Facebook post

The posts were mostly quotes and business-related posts, with little about paid surveys. When I last updated this review, the page had not posted anything for more than a year.

Learning opportunitiesPaid courses
The PanelPlace learning section

PanelPlace says you can learn new skills from courses. What this means is that you find promotional offers for courses you can buy. There is nothing wrong with that, but it does not give you free access to courses.

How much can you make?

You cannot, as such, make money on PanelPlace. You sign up for survey sites through it, and you make money on those sites. PanelPlace has no influence on how many surveys you get or how you are paid.

If you join the top-paying survey sites, it can be a way to make some nice extra cash. But you will not become rich from answering surveys, no matter which sites you join.

Can you get the same information somewhere else?

Yes. Most of what PanelPlace tells you about paid surveys, you can find elsewhere without becoming a member. For example, see my top 10 survey panels.

If you do join PanelPlace, read a review of each suggested site before you join it, so you know what it offers. Also read how to avoid survey scams.

I tried my hand at survey sites and found them a true time waster. I am looking for a way to earn money by building a solid online business. Can you offer me any suggestions?

    Thanks for all the help

I do actually not think surveys are a waste of time, if you chose the right sites and do it with the right expectations. Then it can be a very nice way to make a bit extra and at the same time have your opinion heard – I think that is great.

But if you are looking for a way to make a living online you are very right that it is not the way to go. If that is what you are interested in, you can check out my article about how to build an online business.

  3. That panel place sounds like just another copy cat site. I was big fan of swagbucks because they have lots of different things besides surveys.
But they use third party offers and don’t who uses what information when you submit it there. I looked on your site for a review of that one but didn’t find anything.
Could you let me know what your opinion of them is.

    • Thanks for your comment Eric. I was actually planning to write a post about Swagbucks one of the next few weeks. I live in a country where I cannot join Swagbucks, so cannot say so much about how it actually is to be a member there. But will write more about certain things I have noticed in the promotion of Swagbucks that I think people should know as well.

But can unfortunately not say anything about being a member there, as they only allow members from very few countries.
