Stepler Review 2026: Is It Legit? My Tested Results and Verdict

Stepler Rating

While it can serve as a way to motivate you to be more physically active, I would still not recommend you use Stepler mainly because of the very low rewards it offers.

I tested Stepler to see if getting paid to walk is worth it. It is legit, and it now offers cash rewards, but the rewards are very low. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit walk-to-earn app, but the rewards are very low

One point per 1,000 steps. It can motivate you to move, but it takes a long time to redeem anything of value.

Good for you ifYou want a little motivation to walk more and do not mind waiting a long time for a small reward.
Skip it ifYou want to earn real extra cash, or you want to cash out quickly.

The short answer

Stepler is legit. It is a Get-Paid-To-Walk app, and you can really earn rewards from it. It can also help motivate you to be more physically active.

But you only earn one point per 1,000 steps, and there are few other ways to earn. It takes quite a long time before you can redeem a reward of significant value. I would not recommend it because of the very low rewards.

What I like
  • It can help motivate you to be more physically active
  • Essentially offers a passive form of earning
  • Now offers cash rewards: PayPal and a prepaid Visa card
  • The app is easy to use, on Android and iOS
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards: one point per 1,000 steps
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • You need a lot of points to redeem a reward of real value
  • Cash rewards need both points and diamonds, and diamonds are hard to collect

My experience with Stepler

I installed Stepler, connected a pedometer and looked at every way to earn and redeem. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Stepler legit and safe?

Yes, Stepler is legit, because you can really earn rewards from it. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • The rewards are very low

You earn one point per 1,000 steps. It takes quite a long time before you can redeem a reward of significant value.

  • Cash needs points and diamonds

Stepler now offers PayPal cash and a prepaid Visa card. You need both points and diamonds for them, and you only get diamonds from the bonus rewards. A reader told me diamonds are hard to collect.

  • Play To Earn pays less than other apps

You earn per minute of playing a featured game, but less than on many other apps with playtime games. Focus on the surveys instead.

  • Not available everywhere

Stepler does not say which countries it is available in. If it does not show up in your app store, it is not available in your country.

My takeIn my opinion, while Stepler can serve as a way to motivate you to be more physically active, I would still not recommend you use it, mainly because of the very low rewards it offers. There are better options out there if you want to earn by walking. Just remember that this is not the most efficient way to earn extra cash.

How you earn on Stepler

There are 2 ways to earn. Walking is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Walking1 point per 1,000 steps
How to earn from Stepler

Connect an external pedometer like Google Fitness, Apple Health, FitBit or Health Connect to the app. Then wear it while you walk, and Stepler tracks your steps.

You do not have to go out for a walk on purpose. Wear your fitness watch while you go about your day, and Stepler counts your steps. So it is essentially a passive way to earn.

When you open the app, you see the steps Stepler tracked and the rewards you earned for the day. You only earn one point per 1,000 steps, so it takes quite a while to collect a decent number of points.

Bonus rewardsDiamonds
Stepler games and surveys

You can earn diamonds by answering surveys, playing games, inviting people to the app and reaching step goals. These ways to earn are fairly limited.

Play To Earn pays per minute of playing a featured game, but less than many other apps with playtime games. So focus on the surveys, which pay a bit better. I would not recommend inviting friends.

How much can you make?

You earn one point per 1,000 steps, and there are not a lot of opportunities to earn bonus rewards.

So it can take a long time before you have enough to redeem a reward of significant value. Its earning potential is quite low, and you have to invest a lot of time to earn from it.

Rewards you can redeem

RewardWhat you need
Discounts and raffle entriesPoints
Gift cardsPoints
PayPal cashPoints and diamonds
Prepaid Visa cardPoints and diamonds

How many points you need depends on the reward. A reward worth a significant amount needs quite a lot of points.

It is good that Stepler now offers cash rewards, but needing both points and diamonds makes it more complicated. If you want to cash out quickly, see the fastest-paying sites instead.
