Scannit Review – Worth It? (Learn the Truth Before Joining)

Scannit Rating

Scannit is not for everyone. If you love to speculate on crypto projects, Scannit can be a viable option. It offers an interesting and free way to earn crypto, but you need to be aware that you can currently not cash out.

I checked out Scannit, an app that rewards you with points for photo tasks that train AI. It is an interesting idea, but you cannot cash out your points yet. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend if you want a guaranteed way to earn.

The short answer

Scannit is not for everyone. You earn points by completing photo quests that train AI, and it is free. But the app is still in beta, and you cannot cash out your points yet.

Scannit says you will later be able to redeem gift cards or $SCAN tokens, but $SCAN tokens have no monetary value yet. At this stage, it is purely speculative. Only join if you believe in the potential of the project.

Is Scannit legit and safe?

Scannit is free to use, but you cannot get anything out of it yet. Here is what you should know before you spend time on it.

  • You cannot cash out yet

Scannit is still in beta. You cannot convert your points into rewards yet, and there is no information about the conversion rate.

  • $SCAN tokens have no value yet

If cash-out goes live, you can redeem gift cards or $SCAN tokens, according to the website. The tokens do not have any monetary value yet, so take that with a grain of salt if you plan to earn crypto.

  • Quests take effort

Most quests involve taking photos, and many mean going somewhere. One quest asked me for three photos of an electric vehicle charger. If you do not own an EV, you have to go to a charging station.

My takeIn my opinion, Scannit is not for everyone. If you love to speculate on crypto projects, Scannit can be a viable option. It offers an interesting and free way to earn crypto. But if you prefer guaranteed ways to earn rewards, this is not the best option, in my opinion.

How you earn on Scannit

There are 2 ways to earn points. Quests are the main one. Tap one to read more.

QuestsPoints
Quests on the Scannit Questboard

Log in to the app and open the Questboard to see all available quests. Most, if not all, involve taking photos. You open your phone’s camera from inside the app, take the photo and submit it.

Scannit reviews your submission. If you followed all the instructions, you get the points the quest promised.

There is a decent number of quests, but they usually mean going somewhere to photograph a certain subject. Some quests take a lot of effort.

Referral program2,000 points + 10%
Scannit referral program

Share your referral code and remind people to enter it when they sign up. You get 2,000 points and a 10% commission every time your referral earns points.

You also get an extra 10% on the points earned by the people they refer. Invite people who are really interested in the platform.

How you get paid

You do not, yet. Scannit is still in beta, so you cannot convert your points. The website says that when this feature goes live, you can redeem gift cards or $SCAN tokens, and that there is no threshold.

$SCAN tokens have no monetary value yet, and there is no information about the conversion rate of points to rewards. So I cannot say how much you can earn. I will hold off on judging the payout system until it actually goes live.
