I looked at Quizmatch to see if its quiz tournaments are a good way to earn. It is legit, but you can only win crypto if you spend money on SEI tokens first. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but you have to spend money to win crypto
Quiz tournaments that pay SEI tokens to the top three. The free gems have no money value, and SEI tournaments cost money to join.

The short answer
Quizmatch is legit, because you can really win rewards in its quiz tournaments. It is a fun way to play, and the website works well on a phone.
But you have to spend money to potentially earn. Only SEI tournaments pay crypto, and you have to buy SEI tokens to join them. If you do not win, you lose your entry fee. It does not offer cash rewards, so it is not a good way to earn extra cash, in my opinion.
- Available more or less worldwide
- A fun way to win crypto
- Easy to use on a phone, without pop-up ads
- Free gems every day from the Spin-the-Wheel game
- Does not offer cash rewards
- You have to spend money to potentially earn
- The earning opportunity is risky
- Tournaments can take a while to start because there are not enough players

Is Quizmatch legit and safe?
Yes, Quizmatch is legit, because you can really win rewards when you compete in tournaments. But that does not automatically mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- You can lose money
To win crypto, you have to buy SEI tokens and pay an entry fee. Only the top three of five players win. If you do not win, you lose your entry fee. Only buy SEI tokens if you are confident you can win.
- Quizmatch keeps a share of every prize pool
Quizmatch deducts some SEI from each prize pool. For example, a tournament with a 6 SEI entry fee only has a prize pool of 28 SEI. The other 2 SEI is Quizmatch’s share.
- No cash, only crypto
You cannot earn cash from Quizmatch. Your SEI tokens go to an EVM crypto wallet, with a transaction fee. If you are new to crypto, it can take a while to get used to.
- Not enough players
Sometimes it takes a while for a tournament to start, because there are not enough players. So it also takes patience.
My takeIn my opinion, Quizmatch is not for everyone. If you are absolutely confident in your quiz and trivia skills, you can potentially profit from what it offers. Just be prepared to spend some money, because the earning opportunity is not free. If you are looking for ways to earn extra cash, this is not your best option.

There is only one way to earn: quiz tournaments. Gem tournaments are free; SEI tournaments cost money. Tap one to read more.
SEI tournamentsCosts money
This is the only way to win crypto. You pay the entry fee in SEI tokens, which you have to buy through ONRAMP Money. Each tournament has five players and 10 questions. You earn points for every correct answer, and the faster you answer, the more points you get.
When the tournament is over, the top three players win a prize from the prize pool, after Quizmatch has taken its share. The categories include sports, gaming, pop culture, tech and travel.
Gem tournamentsGems, no cash value
Gem tournaments work the same way, but the entry fee is paid in gems. At the start, the minimum fee is 10 gems. You win 40 gems for 1st place, 30 gems for 2nd and 10 gems for 3rd.
Gems have no money value. But you can use them to buy power-ups, which can help you win SEI tournaments. Every tournament also gives you experience points, and at certain levels you unlock more gem and SEI tournaments.
Spin-the-WheelFree gems, once a day
You can play the Spin-the-Wheel game once a day to claim free gems. Like all gems, they have no money value.
How much can you make?
It entirely depends on how good you are at quiz and trivia games. It is risky, because you lose money when you do not win a prize in a tournament you paid for.
If you are good at the categories, there is a chance you can profit. But tournaments can take a while to start, and it can take a while before you win a significant amount.
So I would consider its earning potential to be quite low. It is a risky way to earn crypto, and not an efficient one, in my opinion. For other options, see the best ways to earn money by playing games online.
Payout method and minimum
| Method | Minimum | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| SEI tokens to any EVM crypto wallet, such as MetaMask | 1 SEI | Transaction fee |
The SEI tokens you win are stored in your Quizmatch wallet. From there, you can withdraw them to any EVM crypto wallet. It is quite straightforward if you are used to crypto. If you prefer to earn cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
