PRC Market Research is legit. It is a market research firm that pays you to share your opinion in online or in-person focus groups and interviews. Most projects pay around $100 to $200.
But it is only available in the US, and you will not qualify for most projects. You can consider yourself lucky if you find one you are eligible for once every couple of months. The site also gives little information about how it pays and has no FAQ.

Is PRC Market Research legit and safe?
Yes, PRC Market Research is legit, because you can earn from the research studies you take part in. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know before you apply.
- You will rarely qualify
Every project looks for a specific demographic, so you will not qualify for most of them. Consider yourself lucky if you find one you are eligible for once every couple of months. You can also go long periods without qualifying.
- US residents only
The homepage says PRC Global Market Research, so you would think it is global. But the projects are all for US companies, so you must live in the US.
- Little information about payment
The site tells you how much a project pays, but not how it pays you. Some projects pay with digital gift cards, so the method depends on the project.
- Silence means no
After you apply, a representative only contacts you if you are accepted. If several days pass without a reply, you did not qualify, or the project was already full.
- Projects take real time
Most projects take one to two hours, on a set date and time. Some pay more, but they take up a significant amount of your time.
My takePRC Market Research is not a bad site to earn extra cash because it pays quite well per project. However, it’s not a reliable way to earn extra cash because you will not always qualify for projects. That’s why I would only classify it as a secondary site to earn from. And even so, you should not expect to earn from it regularly.
You will rarely qualify for a PRC project. The top sites in your country let you earn more regularly.

There is only one way to earn: research projects such as focus groups and interviews. There are two ways to get into one.
Apply to an upcoming projectMostly $100 to $200
The Upcoming Projects section of the website shows the pay, the date and time, and the estimated time of each project. Pick one you are interested in and click “Click Here”. A new tab opens with a survey that checks if you are eligible and asks for your contact details.
If you are accepted, a representative contacts you by phone or email. Then you take part on the set date and time, and you receive the amount listed. If you know nothing about a project’s topic, be honest and do not apply.
Get invited from the panelWhen you fit
Fill out the registration form, and you are added to the database of participants. If a project fits you, PRC contacts you by phone or email. It is up to you whether you accept the invitation.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many projects you take part in. There is a decent number of projects at any given time, but every project looks for a specific demographic, so you will not qualify for all of them.
Most projects pay around $100 to $200, which is quite a decent amount, in my opinion. Some pay more, but take up a significant amount of your time. Most take about one to two hours.
Realistically, you will only earn from it a few times a year. So, even though it pays quite well, its earning potential is not that great.
