The short answer

Payce is a legit cashback platform. You really receive the cashback rewards from its offers, and it has a lot of popular partner stores and restaurants.

The catch is time: every reward waits out the store’s return period, usually 30 days or more, before it reaches your Payce account. And Payce is only available in the US.

What I like
  • A lot of popular partner stores and restaurants
  • Decent cashback rates, usually 5% to 25%
  • Payouts are automatic from $10, to your bank, PayPal or Venmo
  • You can also earn on purchases in physical stores and restaurants
  • A 25% commission on what your referrals earn
What I don’t like
  • A very long wait before you receive your rewards
  • Only available in the US
  • You have to link a credit or debit card to unlock the cashback offers
  • The mobile app is no longer available

My experience with Payce

I signed up for Payce and explored the platform: the cashback offers, the partner stores, the referral program and the dashboard on a phone. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Payce legit and safe?

Payce is legit: you really receive the cashback rewards from its offers. These are the catches to know before you join.

  • A long wait for every reward

Cashback is not credited right away. Stores use a return period of 30 days or more, and until it ends, your cashback shows as a pending sale in your account history.

  • You have to link a card

The first thing Payce asks after sign-up is to link your credit or debit card. You need to do this to unlock the cashback offers.

  • Miss a step and you get no cashback

Each offer has its own requirements. If you do not meet all of them, you will not earn the cashback, so read the details before you shop.

  • Only in the US

Payce is only available in the US. If you live somewhere else, it is not for you.

My takePayce is a decent cashback platform if you live in the US and shop at its partner stores anyway. The rates are decent and the payouts are automatic, but you have to be fine with waiting a long time for your rewards.

How you earn on Payce

There are three ways to earn on Payce. Tap each one to read more.

Cashback offers in the dashboardUsually 5% to 25%
Payce partner stores

Log in to the member dashboard and browse the cashback deals. Click an offer to see its full details, and take note of them: if you do not meet all the requirements, you will not earn the cashback.

When you are ready, click the Shop button. It takes you to the online store, where you check out as normal. Payce tracks the purchase, and it shows as a pending sale in your account until the store’s return period ends.

The Chrome extensionSame offers
Payce browser extension

With the Chrome extension, you do not have to log in to the dashboard. Go straight to the online store you want to shop from. If it has a cashback offer on Payce, the extension applies it at checkout.

It is the more convenient way to use the cashback offers, in my opinion.

Referral program25% of what they earn
Payce referral program

Share your referral code. The person you invite has to enter it when they sign up; if they forget, you earn nothing from them.

When your referral earns cashback rewards, you get a 25% commission on what they earn. It is a generous rate, but it only pays if your referral is an active member, so invite people who really want to earn cashback.

How much can you make?

It depends on how often you shop or eat at Payce’s partner stores and restaurants. If you do that regularly, you can earn a good amount.

The cashback rewards I usually saw were 5% to 25%, which is a decent rate. With up to 600 partner stores and restaurants, many of them popular brands, you will most likely find offers you can use. The cards you link to Payce can also still earn from other loyalty programs or cashback platforms.

How Payce pays

Your cashback is credited to your Payce account. Choose your payment method after you register. Once you have at least $10, Payce sends your balance automatically.

MethodMinimumNotes
Bank account$10Paid automatically
PayPal$10Paid automatically
Venmo$10Paid automatically

The payment system is simple and convenient, and the threshold is relatively low. The slow part is before that: your cashback only reaches your Payce account after the store’s return period.
