Now that you know what to expect from these cashback apps, it’s time we talk about the actual cashback apps you can use. Note that these aren’t the only cashback apps available.
Instead, these are the apps that I have personally tested and think are worth using. I will keep updating this list if I find new cashback apps worth adding. So, make sure to bookmark this page and check on it from time to time for new opportunities.

Swagbucks is another GPT platform that has cashback features. When you register as a member of their platform, not only will you gain access to their cashback offers, but you can also earn without spending any money through their other earning opportunities.
When you’ve earned at least $5, then you can withdraw your earnings via PayPal or convert them to a gift card of your choice. It is available worldwide, but most of the opportunities to earn are found in certain countries (refer to the countries mentioned above).
The same thing goes for their cashback offers. The good thing about Swagbucks is, they have a decent number of cashback offers available. So, you will most likely find a cashback offer you can avail of.
#2 Crypto.com

- Available in
- More or less worldwide
- How you earn
- Cashback when you pay with its Visa card
- Cash out from
- Not applicablecashback is paid in CRO
- Paid via
- Crypto (CRO)
Crypto.com is actually a cryptocurrency exchange platform rather than a straight-up cashback app. But, it has cashback features you can take advantage of.
Once you sign up as a member of Crypto.com, you will gain access to their Visa card. It’s a virtual credit card so you can use it right away. You can also have a physical version of the card which you can use in any store.
This, in my opinion, is the strength of Crypto.com as a cashback platform. You will basically be able to earn cashback rewards from any store if you use their card. However, the rewards you will receive will be in the form of their own cryptocurrency which is called CRO.
But you can convert it to any cryptocurrency you want using their trading platform. Then, you can just transfer it to your own crypto wallet or you can just leave it on your Crypto.com account and use it for purchases and earn more cashback rewards again, which is the reason why it is one of the best cashback platforms around.

FeaturePoints is a GPT site that both have a web-based platform and a mobile app you can use. And since it is a GPT platform, you can expect to earn by answering surveys, completing paid offers, joining their free contests, and inviting other people to join the platform.
Of course, they do have cashback offers you can avail of and they have a decent number of partner stores too. So, you will have plenty of options to choose from. Just be aware that the cashback feature is not available in all countries.
You can get paid via PayPal or Bitcoin, or you can convert your earnings to gift cards as well. Their payout threshold is quite low ($5) which is good because you can withdraw your earnings quickly. As for their app, it will work with both Android and iOS devices.
#4 FatCoupon

- Available in
- USA, UK, Canada
- How you earn
- Cashback + coupons
- Cash out from
- $25lowest reward I saw when testing
- Paid via
- PayPal · Zelle · Bank transfer +2 more
FatCoupon is a cashback app that does not only have a good number of cashback offers. You can also find quite a lot of coupons inside the app and on the website.
It offers great payout methods, as you can get paid in cash via bank transfer, PayPal, or check.
The downside is that it has a quite high payout threshold compared to many other cashback apps, so it can take some patience before you earn enough to get paid.
#5 Ibotta

- Available in
- US
- How you earn
- In-store and online cashback
- Cash out from
- $20some gift cards in steps of $25
- Paid via
- PayPal · Bank transfer · Gift cards
Ibotta is a pure cashback app. So, this is the only way you can earn from this platform. But the good thing about Ibotta is, it actually has a browser extension you can install so you can still avail yourself of their cashback offers even when you are on your desktop or laptop.
To withdraw your cashback earnings, you will have to earn at least $20. Once you’ve hit that threshold, you can withdraw your earnings via PayPal. You also have the option to convert them to gift cards but most gift cards are worth $25. Their threshold is quite high, but they do offer decent cashback rates.
So, if you shop online regularly, you won’t have a problem reaching their threshold. As for their app, it is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
#6 MyPoints

- Available in
- the US and Canada
- How you earn
- Cashback, deals + surveys, games
- Cash out from
- $15for PayPal and gift cards
- Paid via
- PayPal · Gift cards
MyPoints is technically a Get-Paid-To (GPT) platform that also has an app. But, it has cashback features as well so you can still earn cashback rewards when using their app.
It has hundreds of partner stores which is the reason why it is on this list. So, when you become a member of MyPoints, you automatically gain access to their thousands of cashback offers. And since it is a GPT platform, you can also earn even if you don’t spend any money.
You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal once you’ve earned $10 or you can convert your rewards to gift cards for only $3. However, MyPoints is only available in Canada and the US. So, it’s a bit limited in terms of its coverage. But their app will work with both Android and iOS devices.
#7 Dosh

- Available in
- US
- How you earn
- Card-linked cashback, hotels · app only
- Cash out from
- $25
- Paid via
- PayPal · Direct bank transfer
Dosh is another straight-up cashback app, and it has no web-based version. So, you will definitely need a mobile device if you plan to join this platform.
You can earn cashback rewards by availing of their cashback offers or by linking your credit/debit card with the app so that every time you use that card, you will also earn cashback rewards. And a unique cashback feature it offers is its hotel cashback rewards.
If you book a hotel reservation through the app, you will earn cashback rewards. Not a lot of apps offer that kind of reward. It does have a high payout threshold of $25, but their cashback rates are pretty decent. So, you won’t have a hard time reaching the threshold.
It is only available in the US though, so if you live outside the US, this is not for you. But their app is available for download on both Android and iOS app stores. So, compatibility won’t really be a problem.
#8 Rakuten

- Available in
- US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, and Japan
- How you earn
- Cashback + browser extension
- Cash out from
- $5paid every three months
- Paid via
- PayPal · Gift cards · Check
Rakuten is a cashback site and app that will reward you for taking advantage of its cashback offers. It has been around since 1997. It has a good number of cashback offers available at any given time, so you should be able to find a cashback offer you will be interested in.
You can get paid via PayPal, or you can choose to get paid via check, which will be sent to you via postal mail. You can now also get paid in gift cards. Payment is done every three months, so it’s a bit of a long wait.
It is available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, and Japan. The mobile app works on both Android and iOS devices.
#9 ShopBack

- Available in
- US, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam
- How you earn
- Cashback on online shopping
- Cash out from
- $4to $5depends on the country
- Paid via
- PayPal · Direct bank transfer
ShopBack is legit cashback site that offers a way for you to earn back a part of what you spend on your online purchases. It has a couple of good features to offer, and its main advantage is that there are a good number of cashback offers available at any given time.
You can get paid via PayPal or direct bank transfer, and the threshold you must reach will usually be around $4 to $5, depending on the country. It is available in the US, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The app works on both Android and iOS devices as well.
How are the opportunities for cashback apps?
If you have been a member of a cashback site before, there is no difference in the earning opportunities. In my experience, some apps even offer more opportunities in their mobile app than on their website, and I sometimes find mobile-only promos.
What is a cashback offer?
An offer on a site or app where you earn back a portion of what you spent on the product in the offer.
The real measure of a good cashback app
The number of partner stores it has. The more stores, the more likely you find a cashback offer for something you want.
Only buy what you need
Cashback offers are only useful for products you need or want. Taking an offer just for the cashback reward is quite pointless.
How to earn the most?
Each cashback app has different cashback offers and cashback rates, so it is hard to put an exact figure on how much you can earn from each app.
- Use 5 to 7 appsThat way, you get access to a lot of cashback offers.
- Find products you want or needWith many offers, you will likely find cashback on things you would buy anyway.
- Let the cashback pile upThe apps are free to join, so this costs you nothing extra.
Pure cashback apps
You only earn when you shop, like Ibotta, Dosh, Rakuten and ShopBack.
GPT apps with cashback
Swagbucks, FeaturePoints and MyPoints also let you earn without spending money, for example with surveys and offers.
How I choose the sites on this list

I only put a site on this list when I have tested it myself. I test hundreds of sites every year, and I keep this list updated.
What I look at
- Many partner stores
- Cashback offers you will actually use
- A mobile app for Android and iOS
- Legit and free to join
Ready to start?
All of these apps are free to join. To get the most out of cashback offers, use around 5 to 7 of these apps. That gives you access to a lot of offers, so you will more likely find products you want or need.
I keep this list updated, so bookmark this page. Know a site that belongs here, or have a question? Leave a comment below.
Frequently asked questions
Which app gives the most cashback?
Each app has different cashback offers and rates, so it is hard to put an exact figure on it. The real measure is the number of partner stores, because more stores mean more offers you can use.
Crypto.com stands out because you earn cashback in any store when you pay with its card, but the cashback is paid in its own crypto, CRO.
Which apps give you cash back?
My top picks are Swagbucks, Crypto.com and FeaturePoints. Ibotta, MyPoints, Dosh, Rakuten, ShopBack and FatCoupon are on the list too.
Many of them only work in certain countries, so check where each app works in the comparison.
What is the downside of Rakuten?
Payments are sent every three months, so it is a bit of a long wait, and even longer if you choose a check by mail.
You can join from all countries, but the offers are more or less only for people in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Japan.
Does Rakuten charge a monthly fee?
No. Rakuten is free to join, like all the apps on this list. You can request a payment through PayPal or check once you have more than $5.
What apps pay $100 a day legit?
Cashback apps do not pay you a set amount a day. You only earn back a part of what you spend at partner stores, so how much you get depends on how much you shop.
Never buy something only for the cashback. If you want to earn without spending money, apps like Swagbucks, FeaturePoints and MyPoints also have surveys and offers.
