MoneyTree Rewards App Review: Worth It? (An Inside Look)

MoneyTree Rewards Rating

MoneyTree Rewards isn’t really an app worth using. There are simply better options out there. I only recommend you use this app if you desperately need an additional app to earn from.

MoneyTree Rewards is an app that says you can earn gift cards, discounts or cash daily. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, but the rewards are low. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit, but low rewards make it hard to cash out

Offers usually pay 100 to 200 points, and a $5 PayPal cashout takes 15,750 points.

The short answer

MoneyTree Rewards is a legit Get-Paid-To (GPT) app, because you earn rewards for the tasks you complete. It pays through PayPal and gift cards.

But the rewards are low, so it takes quite some time to reach the payout threshold. In my opinion, it is not an app worth using. There are simply better options. I would only use it if you desperately need an additional app to earn from.

What I like
  • Offers payment via PayPal
  • Available globally
  • No pop-up ads, and the app is easy to use
  • A 5,000-point welcome bonus
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Low rewards
  • Not very transparent with what it has to offer
  • Android only
  • Support by email only

My experience with MoneyTree Rewards

I installed the app and tried the ways to earn. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is MoneyTree Rewards legit and safe?

Yes, MoneyTree Rewards is legit, because you earn rewards for the tasks you complete. But legit does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Low rewards and a high threshold

Most offers pay 100 to 200 points, and a $5 PayPal cashout takes 15,750 points. It takes quite some time to get there.

  • Point values are hard to follow

The value of your points changes with the reward you pick. $5 to PayPal takes 15,750 points, while a $25 Amazon gift card takes 62,500 points. PayPal also needs at least 3 completed surveys or offers.

  • Little information

The app does not explain what you get for a referral. Support is by email only, with no contact form in the app.

  • Android only

There is no app for iOS, and you cannot use it on a computer.

My takeIn my opinion, MoneyTree Rewards isn’t an app worth using. There are simply better options out there. I would only recommend you use it if you desperately need an additional app to earn from.

MoneyTree Rewards pays little. The top sites in your country have much better earning potential.

How you earn on MoneyTree Rewards

There are 4 ways to earn. Paid offers make up most of your earnings. Tap one to read more.

Paid offersUsually 100 to 200 points
Paid offers in MoneyTree Rewards

Most offers ask you to download an app, play a mobile game or answer surveys. Each offer shows its steps and reward. Miss one step, and you do not get paid.

There are a decent number of offers. Some take a couple of days to complete, and those pay more, sometimes over 1,000 points.

Paid surveysAround 300 to 500 points
Paid surveys in MoneyTree Rewards

Surveys usually pay more than offers, but there are fewer of them, and you have to qualify. During my testing, I never managed to qualify for one. How many surveys you get also depends on your country.

Watching videosVery low
Watching videos in MoneyTree Rewards

The videos come from HideoutTV, so you have to sign up there first. You earn from the ads before, during and between the videos, so do not close a video before you have seen an ad.

The videos can last more than a few minutes each. Only do this if you have nothing else to do in the app.

Referral programNot explained

Share your referral code. Your referral gets 100 points when they enter it. The app does not explain what you get, only that you will earn more.

How much can you make?

MoneyTree Rewards has a decent number of ways to earn, but not as many as the most popular GPT platforms. Offers usually pay 100 to 200 points, and surveys around 300 to 500 points.

So it takes quite some time to reach the payout threshold. That is why I do not recommend the app. For better options, see the top GPT sites.

Payout methods and minimums

I like that MoneyTree Rewards pays through PayPal. For more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
