Money Well is not an app I recommend for earning. It pays you coins for every minute you play its featured mobile games, but the amount you can earn is very low: you have to spend hours and hours playing new games to earn even $1.
Several readers also report earnings that were not updated, payouts that did not arrive, and extra photo and video checks before a payout. If you just want to pass the time, it can be an option. Just don’t get your hopes up.

Is Money Well legit and safe?
Money Well pays coins for playing games, but the rewards are very low, and several readers report problems getting their money. Here is what you should know.
- Several readers report missing payouts
Readers told me in 2022 and 2023 that their earnings were not updated, that they waited months for a payout that did not come, and that a voucher they earned was not paid. Support answered them with automated messages.
- Photo and video checks before a payout
Readers report that Money Well asked for a photo and a video before a payout, even a very small one. One reader was told to give back the money they had earned.
- Very low rewards
You earn around 40 to 50 coins per minute, and $1 costs more than 19,000 coins. That is a fraction of a cent per minute, and the rate only gets lower the longer you play.
- Mostly casino and puzzle games
The featured games are mostly casino and puzzle games. To keep earning, you have to keep installing new games.
- The app tracks your data usage
You must allow Money Well to track data usage. It is the only way the app can see how long you play.
My takeYou can’t earn a decent amount in a short period of time. You will need to invest a lot of time just to reach their low payout threshold, which makes that threshold irrelevant. If your goal is to earn extra cash, I would not recommend using this.
How you earn on Money Well
There are 2 ways to earn. Playing games is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Playing mobile games40–50 coins a minute
Log in, choose a game and press “Start Playing”. You are taken to the game’s page on Google Play. Install it, go back to Money Well and open the game from the “My Apps” section. Always open your games through “My Apps”, so Money Well can track how long you play.
You earn a certain number of coins for every minute you play. What they don’t tell you is that the longer you keep playing a game, the fewer coins you earn, until you earn nothing from it anymore. To keep earning, you have to try out as many games as you can. That is how Money Well makes its money: game developers pay it to find new users.
The games are mostly casino and puzzle games. They don’t feature popular mobile games, at least not during my testing.
Referral program250 coins + 25%
You earn 250 coins for every person you invite who becomes a member. You also receive a 25% commission on what your referral earns, and your referral gets 25% of what you earn.
To invite someone, go to the “My Apps” section and press the “Invite” button. You can usually send the invitation by email or SMS.
How much can you make?
Let me be frank about this. The amount of money you can earn will be very low.
You typically earn around 40 to 50 coins per minute you play a game, and that rate only goes down the longer you keep playing. You need more than 19,000 coins to withdraw $1 through PayPal. So you only earn a fraction of a cent per minute, and you will practically have to spend hours and hours playing new games to earn even $1.
If you want to earn a decent amount quickly, you are better off joining survey apps or other GPT apps that pay better.

I want refund, please help this app doesn’t work in my country
The app is free so not sure what you want a refund for. But if you have any issues with the app, you need to contact their support.
I have been playing for 6 months, been trying to get my 5.00 payout for 5 months of that, still haven’t gotten paid! This app is a joke and I wouldn’t recommend anybody using it. They don’t pay!

If they don’t pay up this week, I’ll be reporting them as a scam! Talk about waste of time..takes forever to earn and then they don’t pay out anyway!

This application does not update your earnings at all I have written so many emails to support but keep getting a response that it might be caused by internet issues. I find this hard to believe because we have been playing games for the past 2 months using the same internet that supposedly has issues.
Overall, it is not really a great app, in my opinion, as I also explain in the review above.
My the average reward is from 300-1000. Of course at the beginning and gradually fall. Quite decent earnings if it offers a fun game.
If you want to earn by playing, there are just many better apps, in my experience.
