MDForLives is a survey site for healthcare research. I explored the site, its surveys, rewards and app. Below is what I found, what readers report, and which panels I would pick first.
High rewards per survey, but few surveys and few countries
Healthcare surveys that usually pay $50 to $500, gift cards or prepaid Visa. Few surveys and few countries. Some readers report unpaid surveys.

The short answer
MDForLives is a survey site for the latest healthcare research topics, and its surveys usually pay around $50 to $500. But two readers told me in 2024 and 2025 that they completed surveys and were not paid.
It is now open to healthcare professionals, allied health professionals and patients, but only in certain countries, and surveys are limited. You redeem gift cards or prepaid Visa cards, not PayPal. I would look at other medical panels first.
- Offers high rewards for its surveys
- Has a user-friendly app on Android and iOS
- Gives you the chance to share valuable opinions about your field
- Several ways to contact support
- Some readers report they were not paid for completed surveys
- Limited earning opportunities
- It can be hard to become a member
- Only certain countries are accepted
- No PayPal: gift cards or prepaid Visa cards only

Is MDForLives legit and safe?
MDForLives is a real survey site for healthcare research. Some readers report payment problems. Here is what you should know before you join.
- Some readers report they were not paid
In January 2024, a reader wrote that he completed 4 surveys and was still waiting for his compensation, and that he asked the BBB to help resolve it. In April and May 2025, another reader wrote that MDForLives did not pay for work they completed.
- Limited surveys
You are invited to surveys from time to time, and you first answer qualifying questions. If you do not qualify, the process stops there. Do not expect to earn regularly.
- You provide your credentials
When you register, expect to provide your credentials, so MDForLives knows you belong to the healthcare industry. A reader in 2021 wrote that the sign-up did not recognize their email, and that email support did not help.
- Only certain countries
Its Terms and Conditions list 23 countries. But when I revisited the site, it only seemed to accept people from the US, Canada, India, Italy, France, Germany, KSA and the UK.
My takeIf you are a healthcare professional, MDForLives can pay a significant amount per survey, and it lets you help shape the future of the healthcare industry. But two readers told me they completed surveys and were not paid, so you need the right expectations. I agree with readers that there are many sites that are a lot better. I would look at the other medical panels first.
MDForLives has few surveys and only accepts certain countries. These medical panels are where I would start instead.
See the best medical surveysHow you earn on MDForLives
There is only one way to earn: paid surveys about healthcare research.
Paid healthcare surveysAround $50 to $500
MDForLives runs market research on niche sections of healthcare for the companies that create new healthcare products and services. That is where the paid surveys come in.
From time to time, you get an email invite for a survey. Click the link, and you first answer a set of qualifying questions. If you qualify, you continue to the actual survey.
It used to pay an honorarium per survey. Now your reward is credited to your MDForLives account balance after you complete a survey. The surveys are a bit more complicated than on other survey sites, but they pay well for your time.
Members also get access to CME initiatives and blogs relevant to their field.
How much can you make?
Typically, you can earn around $50 to $500 per survey you complete. That is what I observed while exploring the site and doing some research. The amount depends on your specialty and the country you live in.
That is a lot of money for one survey. But surveys are limited, and some readers report completed surveys that were not paid. So do not count on that money until you receive it.
Rewards and redemption
| Reward | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Gift cards | Depends on your location and the reward | Generally 7 to 10 days |
| Prepaid Visa cards | Depends on your location and the reward | Generally 7 to 10 days |
Once you have earned enough rewards, you can redeem gift cards or prepaid Visa cards. Certain rewards may take longer to process. There is no PayPal.
