InboxPounds Review 2026 (Full Details Revealed)

InboxPounds Rating

If you live in the UK, you can often find a way to earn a bit extra on InboxPounds. The payout threshold is a little high but you get a £1 to get started easily. As an extra site, it can be a decent way to earn a bit extra.

I tested InboxPounds to see if it is worth your time in the UK. It is legit and has some good paid offers, but surveys take patience and the payout threshold is a little high. Below is what I found, and which UK sites I recommend next to it.

Personally Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit UK site, best as an extra site

Surveys, paid offers, paid emails and referrals, paid in pounds. PayPal or gift cards from £15, and a £1 joining bonus.

Good for you ifYou live in the UK, want an extra site next to others, and you are patient with surveys.
Skip it ifYou live outside the UK, want a low payout threshold, or need support that is easy to reach.

The short answer

InboxPounds is legit. It has existed for years, it pays out, and it is run by the same company that owns InboxDollars. It has some good paid offers, and it gives you a £1 joining bonus.

But it is only available in the UK, it can take patience to find surveys you qualify for, and the £15 payout threshold is a little high. It works best as an extra site, next to other UK survey and GPT sites.

What I like
  • Free to join, with a £1 joining bonus
  • Has some good paid offers, many of them only on InboxPounds
  • Many earning opportunities
  • A spin wheel gives you an extra chance when you do not qualify for a survey
  • A very nice mobile site
What I don’t like
  • It can take patience to find the surveys you qualify for
  • The payout threshold is a little high
  • Not as user-friendly a design as many other sites
  • Only available in the UK
  • Support is not easy to find

My experience with InboxPounds

I joined InboxPounds and went through its surveys, paid offers, paid emails, payout options and support. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is InboxPounds legit and safe?

Yes, InboxPounds is legit and safe. It has existed for years and has millions of members. But that does not mean it is the right site for you. Here is what you should know.

  • Support is hard to reach

The support function is not easy to find. Several readers wrote in 2023 that the contact button sent them back to the home page, and that they could not reach anyone about missing rewards. Look for the help button or the contact link in the FAQ section, and keep records of your offers.

  • Some rewards take weeks to arrive

Some earning methods credit right away. Higher-paying offers can take from 15 minutes to a few weeks to be approved. A reader wrote in 2024 that, after months without trouble, they could not get the confirmation code to finish a reward request.

  • Many survey disqualifications

You will not qualify for all surveys. Several people say the disqualification rate is pretty high on InboxPounds, so it takes patience.

  • Read the conditions of every offer

Some paid offers ask you to pay or deposit money first. They can be good deals, but read the exact conditions before you take one, so you know what you need to do to get your reward.

  • Watch out for fake apps

InboxPounds has no app. Its website shows links to Android and iOS apps that do not work, and the InboxPounds apps you find elsewhere online are fakes. Do not download them.

My takeOverall, InboxPounds can be a site worth considering if you live in the UK. But I would recommend you also join other UK survey and GPT sites to get enough opportunities. It is legit and safe, so as an extra site and with a bit of patience, it can be worth considering.

How you earn on InboxPounds

There are 4 ways to earn. Paid surveys have the most opportunities, and paid offers can boost your earnings. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysMost opportunities
Examples of InboxPounds surveys

InboxPounds works with several survey partners, so it offers a decent number of surveys. But there are not quite as many as on many other sites, in my experience, and you will not qualify for all of them.

When you do not qualify, you can spin the Spin & Win wheel, up to 10 times per day. It gives you a chance of survey tokens of £0.06 or £0.03, which are credited the next time you complete a survey, or cash bonuses of £5.00, £1.00 or £0.01, credited right away. There is no guarantee you win anything.

Paid offersCan boost earnings
Examples of paid offers on InboxPounds

InboxPounds has a very large number of paid offers, and many of them are mostly only available on InboxPounds. They pay a bit above average compared to many other GPT sites, in my experience.

Some ask you to sign up and deposit money with an advertiser, and give you a bigger reward back. If you take the bonus without spending more, these can be easy money. Read the exact conditions of each offer first. The offers change all the time.

Paid emailsSmall rewards
Paid emails on InboxPounds

You earn small rewards by clicking the links in paid emails, up to 3 per day. How many you receive depends on how active you are. If you only use the paid emails, you will stop receiving them at some point, so use the other earning options too.

Referral program10% of their earnings

Invite your friends, and you earn 10% of what they earn. It does not come out of their earnings. InboxPounds pays it as a thank-you for inviting someone.

How much can you make?

InboxPounds has quite a few ways to earn, but many of them take a bit of patience. If you find good paid offers, it can be a way to earn some fast and easy cash.

Overall, it can be a way to earn a little extra cash, but do not expect it to make you more than some extra cash on the side.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimum
PayPal£15
E-payments: prepaid Mastercard, Amazon gift cards and other gift cards£15. Some rewards need more.

You earn pounds, as the name says. Some earning methods credit right away. Others take from 15 minutes to a few weeks, because higher-paying offers take longer to be approved.

PayPal replaced the cheques InboxPounds used to send, which is a great improvement if you want cash. The £15 threshold is a little high, but not unreasonably high, and the £1 joining bonus gets you started.

Is InboxPounds worth it in your country?

  1. HI, having read your latest review, i was just wondering if you are aware of any tech problems with reward requests as i have had no trouble getting my rewards up until about 2 weeks ago and try as i might i cannot get a confirmation code to advance on to my reward. any comments please

  2. No, there is no option on the FAQs. I have tried the contact us button, it takes me to a page that might be a hell page, but quickly redirects to a new homepage tab. I’m so frustrated with it. I’d be grateful if someone could give me a contact email.

  3. I have been at this for years and I’m only now at £17. I recently downloaded 2 apps and also reached a bonus level, but I have not been credited. I cannot contact anybody, every time I press the ‘contact us’ button I am taken out of the page, back to the home page. The help button (as described above) does not exist. Why isn’t there an email address? I feel that this is a complete scam and would not recommend anyone sharing their data on here. The amount of spam emails I receive is phenomenal. I’m not unsubscribing yet because I’m going to pursue this further.

  4. I have decided not to proceed. I wish to unsubscribe. When I try it takes me to the terms and agreement. I don’t want to agree to this in case I am charged for this. Please help me to unsubscribe.

    • There have been some issues with it only working on certain devices. But in their support section you can see they recently posted an update about this. It should have been fixed now.

    • Thanks for sharing this. You mean it has been completely removed from your dashboard now or that it just does not work for you?

Because from what I can see, It should still be available. But they also mention that it is best to use on desktop as it uses javascript so maybe that is the issue?

  5. Why don’t you come out and say roughly – roughly – how much you might earn per day and for how many hours per day devoted to it?

    Reply
    • Because that is more or less impossible to say – it depends on so many different things. For example, some days there will be plenty of surveys available and other days there will hardly be any. And how many you will qualify for will depend on your specific demographic profile so you might be able to qualify for most of them while others might not qualify for many.

And the options available will, in general, vary from day to day and also depending on the year. Some days there might be enough for you to do something for 2 hours while on other days there might only be tasks you can do for 20 minutes. So it really is impossible to give an estimate.

But as I also mention in this review, you need to do it with the right expectations and be aware that it is not a way to make anything near a full-time income. It is just for some extra cash on the side.

      Hope this helps.

      • Hi Mikael, would you please update us about inbox pounds 2021, as there’s some changes with the platform, like listening to radio no longer available, and in payouts, they introduced PayPal, wanna know more about paying via PayPal. Thanks and I’ll keep following you.
