Is HandBucks Legit or a Scam? (Full Review + Rating)

HandBucks Rating

HandBucks is not worth your time mainly because of the low rewards it offers. Aside from that, it will sometimes ask you to do unethical things like rigging social media accounts.

I tested HandBucks to see if it is worth your time. It is a legit GPT site with convenient payout options like Payeer, but the rewards are very low, and some tasks ask you to do unethical things. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.

Partially Tested Last tested

Legit, but very low rewards and some unethical tasks

Micro tasks, offerwalls and ads that pay very little. Payeer from $0.50.

Good for you ifYou only want a site that pays to Payeer or Payoneer, and you do not mind very low pay.
Skip it ifYou want to earn a decent amount for your time, or you do not want tasks that rig social media accounts.

The short answer

HandBucks is legit. It really pays you for working on micro tasks, offers and ads.

But it offers very low rewards. Micro tasks usually pay less than a cent, and you have to view hundreds of ads just to earn $1. Some micro tasks ask you to do unethical things, like rigging social media accounts. The payout options are the best part. In my opinion, HandBucks is not worth your time.

What I like
  • Several payout options, including Payeer and Payoneer
  • Low Payeer minimum: $0.50
  • Available worldwide
  • A good number of offerwalls
What I don’t like
  • Very low rewards
  • Some tasks ask you to do unethical things
  • Micro tasks take long and pay less than a cent
  • Pop-up ads when you view ads
  • One reader reports withdrawals that stayed pending

My experience with HandBucks

Is HandBucks legit and safe?

Yes, HandBucks is legit, because it really pays you for the work you do on it. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.

  • Some tasks are unethical

Micro tasks are made by other members, mostly to promote a link, social media account or website. Some ask you to do unethical things, like rigging social media accounts.

  • Very low rewards

Micro tasks usually take a considerable amount of time and pay less than a cent. You have to view hundreds of ads just to earn $1. Even the offerwalls, the best way to earn here, pay a bit low.

  • One reader reports pending withdrawals

In January 2025, one reader wrote that earlier withdrawals arrived the next day, but that two payments had then been pending for 2 to 3 weeks, and support did not reply. I have not been able to check this myself.

  • Referral rate not stated

You earn a commission when your referrals earn, but HandBucks does not tell you the percentage.

  • Pop-up ads when viewing ads

Apart from the ads you view to earn, you will not see annoying pop-ups. Those ads can be quite annoying, in my opinion.

My takeIn my opinion, HandBucks is not worth your time, mainly because of the low rewards it offers. Aside from that, it will sometimes ask you to do unethical things like rigging social media accounts. So, it simply does not give you any good reason to use it. After I tested it, I have stayed away from it.

How you earn on HandBucks

There are 4 ways to earn. Offerwalls are the best one. Tap one to read more.

Offerwalls and surveysBest option
HandBucks offerwalls

Go to the Offerwalls and Surveys section, pick an offerwall, and you see all its paid offers. Most ask you to answer surveys or quizzes, play mobile games or sign up for free trials.

Follow every instruction: if you miss one step, you do not get the reward. In my opinion, this is the best way to earn on HandBucks. The rewards are still a bit low, but there are a good number of offerwalls.

Micro tasksLess than a cent
HandBucks micro tasks

Other members create these tasks, mostly to promote a link, social media account or website. Most ask you to visit a webpage and click on a few links.

Some tasks ask you to do unethical things, like rigging social media accounts. Tasks usually take a considerable amount of time, and you usually earn less than a cent per task.

Viewing adsVery low
Viewing ads on HandBucks

You view an ad for several seconds and get a small reward. There are not a lot of ads compared to Paid-To-Click (PTC) sites.

You have to view hundreds of ads just to earn $1, and the pop-up ads can be annoying. I would not make this a priority.

Referral programRate not stated

Share your referral link. You get a commission every time your referral earns on HandBucks.

HandBucks does not tell you the percentage, so you have no idea of its earning potential. I did not check it, because HandBucks is not something I would recommend to my friends.

How much can you make?

The main downside of HandBucks is its very low rewards. There are a decent number of ways to earn at any given time, but you must invest a lot of time just to earn a decent amount.

That is why I would say its earning potential is very low. It also does not help that some of the things you must do to earn are unethical. These are the two main reasons why I would not recommend it to my friends.

Payout options and minimums

MethodMinimumNotes
Payeer$0.50Lowest minimum
Payoneer$50Quite a high threshold
Crypto and other optionsDepends on the optionShown in the Withdraw section

Your earnings go to your account balance. To cash out, go to the Withdraw section of the dashboard and pick a payout option. The payout options are the best thing about HandBucks, in my opinion.
