Givvy Videos has closed
The Givvy Videos app is no longer available on Google Play. The developer has phased out all its similar apps and switched to mobile games that let you earn while playing. You cannot join or earn on Givvy Videos now. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.
Givvy Videos was an Android app that claimed to pay you for watching YouTube videos. It has now closed. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.
Givvy Videos has closed
Givvy Videos has closed, so you can no longer earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, but you really watched video ads, and the rewards were very low.

The short answer
Givvy Videos has closed. The app is no longer on Google Play, and its developer switched to mobile games that let you earn while playing. You can no longer join or earn on it.
When it was running, it was legit, but you were really paid to watch video ads, not YouTube videos, and the ads were very spammy. The rewards were very low: 10,000 coins were worth $0.01, so it took a very long time to earn a single dollar.
- Convenient payout methods, including PayPal and crypto
- Was available more or less worldwide

- Very low rewards
- The app was very spammy
- No FAQ page
- Android only

Was Givvy Videos legit and safe?
Givvy Videos has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, because it really gave you coins for watching. These were the catches.
- It has closed
The app is no longer available on Google Play. The developer phased out all its similar apps.
- Very low rewards
10,000 coins were worth only $0.01, so a PayPal cashout took 1,040,000 coins. From videos alone, that took several months.
- Very spammy ads
You watched a video ad almost every time you clicked something. Most ads made unrealistic claims and asked you to install useless apps, in my opinion.
- Several readers report withdrawal problems
Several readers report that they could not withdraw, or that their payout did not arrive, and that support did not reply.
My takeGivvy Videos has closed, so it is no longer an option. When it was running, it was not an app worth using: it took a lot of time just to earn a few dollars, and the ads were very spammy. See the alternatives below.
How you earned on Givvy Videos
There were 3 ways to earn. Watching videos was the main one. Tap one to read more.
Watching videos3,000 to 5,000 coins at a time
You picked a video in the app, but first a video ad played, usually for 10 to 20 seconds. You did not get a reward for finishing the video. Instead, coins came randomly, and you had to watch another video ad to claim them. A gift box icon also showed up from time to time, again with a video ad before you got the coins.
So in reality, you were paid to watch video ads, not YouTube videos.
OfferwallsSet per offer
There was a decent number of offerwalls, with most offers in the US, UK and Canada. Most offers asked you to answer surveys or download an app, and you had to follow every step to get the reward.
But Givvy Videos paid a lot less than the top GPT sites for the same offers in most cases, so taking them in the app did not make sense, in my opinion.
Referral program10% commission
You shared your invite link. Every time someone you invited cashed out, you got a 10% commission. They got $0.02 as a sign-up bonus. Because the rewards were so low, you could not expect to earn a lot from this.
How much could you make?
Very little. You needed over a million coins just to cash out about $1 to PayPal. If you only watched videos, you got around 3,000 to 5,000 coins at a time, so that took several months.
The low rewards were the main issue. It was not an efficient way to earn extra cash, and not something I recommend. For better ways, see the best ways to earn money online by watching videos.
How Givvy Videos paid
You turned your coins into cash. The minimum depended on the payout method.
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| Payeer | $0.19 |
| PayPal | $1.04 (1,040,000 coins) |
| Airtm, Coinbase, Perfect Money, Advcash | Depended on the method |
The payout methods themselves were convenient. If you like PayPal, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Who could join, and on which devices?
Givvy Videos did not say which countries it worked in, but as far as I could tell, it was available more or less worldwide. You signed up with your Google or Facebook account.
It was an Android-only app. It was easy to use, but very spammy, with pop-up ads every time you clicked something. It was made by the same developer as Givvy Radios.
There was no FAQ or Help page, only a contact form in the app. That is the bare minimum for support.
What 9 readers told me
This review has 18 comments since January 2023: 9 from readers and 9 replies from me. These are the three things readers told me most.
Readers could not cash in their coins, found the withdrawal button did not work, or were still waiting for a payout after a week, with no reply from support.
Readers asked how much they could earn and when they could withdraw. The answer: very little, as I explain above.
Readers asked me for apps that pay more for watching videos.
“I have been using givvy now for just over 3wks and have not been able to cash in my coins at all. … I tried contacting customer support weeks ago and still no replies.”
Mikael: Thanks for sharing your experiences.
“Givvy Video disabled the withdrawal after 1 weeks.”
Mikael: Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it fixed and get paid. Keep me updated.
“Can you recommend apps that pays high amount of money for watching videos?”
Mikael: But in general you will not earn a lot by watching videos. Any site that claims you will make a lot by doing it will end up scamming you, so you need to do it with the right expectations.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it fixed and get paid. Keep me updated.
i got the USD 1.05, (1,050, 655) using AIrtm payment method, and i was told to expect my cash out in 3 days, It is almost a week plus now i am yet to received my cash out, I have compaint to AIrtm staff and Even the Givvy staff but yet to hear from them. But the Airtm staff response positively.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. AirTM has nothing to do with Givvy being slow at processing payouts, so it is only Givvy’s support that can help with something like this.
I cannot even withdraw I didn
Sorry but it looks like your comment was cut off?
I have been using givvy now for just over 3wks and have not been able to cash in my coins at all. I watched video ads for over 3hrs and have been able to collect only $0.08 and I still have over 80,000 I coins I can’t cash in. I tried contacting customer support weeks ago and still no replies. It’s a scam!!!
